I was very impressed from my first phone call to the receptionist. She was so nice and professional and it was very easy to find an appointment that worked with my schedule. She listened to my problem and explained to me it would be best to see if my prescription had changed since my last eye exam. I was extremely happy with Dr.Reid and his staff members. Everyone was courteous and seemed happy to be working there. I manage a dental office myself and I am not usually impressed with other medical offices but this one really did the job! I've gone to Berkeley Eye Center's for cataract surgery with Dr. McCauley. He is awesome. In early April I had some written a vision problems and to do this I had to go to Kingwood's office. Very good on the cOVID-19 activation and only saw one patient at a time. Had to go for a recheck and was able to get into the Woodlands which is close to home. Also excellent with how they were handling the COVID-19 situation. I was scheduled to see a doctor for a recheck on my I got a call that he was not seeing patients in May and I would have to go to Tomball. This was bothersome to me. I guess my eyes weren't that important since he can take the month of May off. read more

It had been several years since my last eye exam and the staff here at the Tomball location are very professional, friendly and kind. Dr. Bond is a great doctor with a funny personality. He made me laugh quite a bit. Ciara is wonderful and honest as she helped me choose my frames. I tried on a couple of frames and she agreed with me and went with my first pair. She is awesome! Just leaving appointment and have to give a shout out to Nick who helped me pick out some great glasses. The whole staff was so friendly and helpful I didn't even have to get my eye's dilated because they use the new optomap. Great place to go for all your eye care. Dr. Bond is thorough, and will take the time to answer any questions that you may have. He went over the optical mapping with me and explained all of the details. John at Berkeley looked at my insurance and was able to get me everything my insurance would cover on the premium side, plus transition lens for under $400.00. Got way more and for less. I do not recommend this place. Their warranty is poor and exam service is bad. If you are going to buy eye glasses from them make sure you know exactly what you want. I picked up a new pair of glasses which was ridiculously small for my head. Its bifocal lenses also bothered my vision. I brought it back the next day and asked for a warranty replacement. They refused by the reason that my insurance does not allow them to charge a second pair! It seemed to me that this store let greed clouded any good business sense. It charged $443 for a product that cost $50 to make then ditch customer satisfaction. A refutable business would offer a replacement for a fee to recover the actual cost of the material and labor of the lenses (understood that the lenses are customized). The offer doesn't cost them any money but only gains customer satisfactions and better return and referral rates. Call it a time limited (1 or 2 weeks) satisfaction guarantee policy and it would separate them from other eyeglass businesses. As for Dr. Bond, I could not share any good comments similar to others. He rushed me out of there after 5 minutes. He didn't exam and explain the opto-map that I paid $18 extra for. He didn't check my lenses' power. When I am a new patient, that kind of service told me I was not welcomed there. That is exactly what Berkeley Eye Center Tomball will get. It will lose me and four other potential customers. My wife and three children are all wearing prescription glasses. read more

The staff was very friendly, professional and exhibited excellent customer service. Dr. Bond was very patient with my questions and concerns. He took the time to explain everything and helped me better understand my vision needs.
