Short waiting time. Went thru one procedure after the next before seeing Dr Jan. Everyone had their particular job covered. Dr Jan did the examination and explained each procedure and gave me suggestions for future plans if I choose to do so. Dr Jan was very friendly and professional. In the spirit of maximizing every single employer benefit possible, this was my first appointment with an optometrist during the past 30 years. No problems, just wanted to have a check up. For the $70.00 Co-pay, I got my money's worth: I can use, "stronger readers! Was Avery Eye Clinic thorough? I think so. An Eye Chart was used, along with a lot of fancy equipment. As I recalled, in the distant past, you just had to cover one eye at a time, and read a chart, then go through the, "Which is clearer, choice 1 or 2," routine. Now they have a Whole Thing, adding up to a NINTY (90) MINUTE process to justify +$350.00 charge (without insurance). I'll be back after Medicare kicks in. read more

I like Dr. Lin but it is ridiculous to have to sit around 3 hours for 30 minutes of actual service. This place needs serious process improvement efforts. I had cataract surgery by Dr. Kuglen this year. My vision is now 20/20! My visit to Avery Eye Clinic recently was smooth. Very little wait time. It always takes a bit from start to finish with eye gets, dilation, eye exam, imaging of retina, seeing the Dr. for a more thorough exam, etc. They have many employees in this busy office and all that I encountered were very nice and helpful. read more

this review has to do with the optical at avery eye clinic in conroe. They stated to me after checking with there lab that my glasses would be ready on tuesday November 23 at the latest. stating that it was the two week mark. I have waited for now over two weeks due to the unfortunate holiday. with the excuse of the Holiday being the reason. No effort was apparently put forth by the lab or others to overt the extended wait time. I honestly do not care about excuses in this case. S o now i am forced to wear glasses with only one temple until after the Holidays. The ones i have are broken. Now over a month at this point due to being the brand discontinued. I really dont think i will return to that optical after this . If you say two weeks and then confirm the date of arrival. someone has done something wrong at this point. very fortunate that this is not a one star. Footnote the billing dept. has someone else on my account apparently. IM getting bills from another patient. I am single and have no family living with me. read more
