For grocery store sushi, this was pretty good. It has very good seaweed salad, I am a huge fan of the flavor of their recipe.

The restaurant also appeared very clean. There was no wait and we were seated immediately. Our server was friendly and came to the table to take our drink orders, then came back for our meals. We were all pretty hungry so we knew what we wanted. I ordered the pad Thai, of course (I've never tried two pad Thai meals that tasted the same). The others in my party ordered lo mein and added beef and shrimp. Our food came within 10 minutes and was very hot. I enjoyed my meal and everyone else enjoyed their food as well. This was a great chill spot for a family meal and we will definitely be back. Kaow Thai was easily accessible for my mom, who uses a wheelchair. We were able to use the wheel ramp in front of the restaurant to get her inside. Accessibility is at the top of our list when deciding where to eat as a family, so I really appreciated that.

For food we started with Spring rolls and curry puffs there was a chill outside so each tried a soup mom tofu and seaweed and Tom Kha with chicken and no tomatoes my soup while good felt like it was missing something. The curry puffs were so good! But the best dish was what I came for the drunken fried rice it packed the right amount of heat I ordered medium and the rice was perfectly cooked. This place is a must stop if you're ever in the area. The place still looks the same but there are not very many workers.

Went in at 1pm and was not much of a line. Got 2 chicken teriyaki with extra sauce and yum yum. We also got an order of their dumplings which we should have eaten in the car on the way home. The sauce for the dumplings was amazing! They also didn't charge for extra teriyaki or yum yum. The rice was a lil underwhelming and didn't get many veggies. Jake n kev

We ordered: +a Chicken & Shrimp Teriyaki - instead of the white or the fried rice, we opted for the noodles at an upcharge; this also came with a side of steamed veggies; I did request for the chicken to be extra well done, but it was just cooked through; the shrimp, while of a good size, were not deveined - they were cooked perfectly, though +a Chicken & Beef Teriyaki - instead of the white or the fried rice, we opted for the noodles at an upcharge; this also came with a side of steamed veggies; the beef was tender, but I wasn't a fan of the taste The teriyaki sauce used was not too sweet; the noodles were cooked perfectly and was a great choice instead of the rice options. I did wish that the steamed veggies were kept warm, as they were served cold. Don't forget to ask for Yum Yum sauce; this was a great complement to the dish. They do have packets of a generic hot sauce, which actually went well with the teriyaki. The portions are extremely generous, in which an order can easily feed 2 people. I honestly was a little apprehensive of this place, but I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty it was! Staff here are very welcoming and friendly. There are plenty of seats to dine in, but I did see many locals call ahead or order to-go. Plenty of parking in the lot; located next to Chick-fil-A. +generous portions! +friendly staff +plenty of parking +located next to Chick-fil-A

Honestly, I was a little hesitant in trying this place out, because, you know, sushi at the mall? However, the hubs wanted to give them a try, so we went for it. We ordered: +Spicy Tuna Roll - this was described as diced sashimi-grade tuan with a spicy sauce; unfortunately, the tuna wasn't 'raw' and it tasted like canned tuna; rice was a bit more on the wet side +the Charo Burrito - this was filled with crab (imitation crab) and shrimp; this was a deep-fried 'sushi roll', and the flavor was actually pretty good; however, didn't know that cilantro was one of the ingredients they would add in there, so it totally ruined it for me; the sauce drizzles on top were great; this could have been more piping hot, as it was deep-fried, but I'm thinking it was a quick dip Staff were very friendly and kind. There's a sign that says that this place is halal. There seems to be many who get their items to go. Ample seating in the food court dining area, and plenty of parking in the mall lot. +avoid the maki rolls +friendly service +located inside the St. Charles Towne Center +ample parking in the mall lot

They also have a bar with $5 specials all day, every day--which is a huge plus. The staff are always incredibly friendly and attentive, providing prompt service that makes the experience even better. If you're not in the mood for sushi, the ramen is a must-try--rich, flavorful, and satisfying. The wings also stand out with a very authentic taste that you don't find just anywhere. Overall, this spot is a hidden gem with great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!

Against my better judgment, i shouldn't have ordered the Hawaii Roll -- the mango inside the roll gave me a bit of pause with consistency issue. Additionally, the rice on the sushi seemed gelatinous, like it was cooked too long. I didn't like it. The Tempura Roll was your standard fare. Lastly, while I love sashimi, the tuna offered with the chef's sampler was just ok. The star was the salmon -- buttery and smooth. Service was fine. We sat at the bar. Again, I wouldn't visit again, but try it for yourself. Cheers!

The tables are spacious enough to comfortably fit large groups (I've seen families of 8!), and there's plenty of room to spread out and enjoy everything. Ordering is super convenient with the self-serve tablet, making it easy to keep the food coming. One of the best parts is the variety--you can choose from hotpot, or go all in with hotpot, sushi, and BBQ. I've tried all three, and they do not disappoint! The selection feels endless, which makes every visit exciting. I especially love that you get to cook your own food, even the BBQ. That's a big plus since many Korean BBQ spots cook it for you. It makes the experience more interactive and fun. The soup bases are flavorful and really elevate the whole meal. And now they've started serving alcoholic beverages too, which is a great addition! However the service is absolutely terrible and only declining. Pace yourself when you're drinking whatever drink you ordered because the chance of you catching your waiter to get another one will be almost non existent. Mostly teenagers are employed here which is good for the work experience but they are too busy on their cell phones to check on their tables. Even when the restaurant is empty you will still not receive service. You will watch your waiter pacing back and forth on their phone longer than you will spend drinking your water/soda. I used to come here once a week but the service has deterred me so much that at most I come once a month and each time I come it's getting worse and worse. I've had to pull the manager up on shift one time to ask for a simple refill because my waiter was too busy on the phone. I'm usually a great tipper, 25% or more, here I simply give 18% because most visits I sit for 30+ minutes with nothing to drink and zero way besides walking up to the waiter to get their attention since their phones are so close to their face it's touching their noses. I won't even come for dinner anymore because the price is not worth their service.
