WOW! WOW! WOW! Do not skip this beautiful and peaceful experience. Every single thing from booking online, to arrival, to instructions, to a scrumptious breakfast was stellar. Our interaction with Brent and his mom (Miss Mary) were great, and I will say, I think it was an extra treat to experience the hospitality of Miss Mary!! Clearly, Brent didn't fall far from the tree (no pun intended)! We booked the 'Rustic Cabin Suite' which was their lowest price room available at the time, but it was well furnished, comfortable, quiet, and perfect for a place to stay for two. It was quiet, peaceful, and tranquil. Don't forget to take advantage of the Carin winery next door, and I hear (we missed out) the lodge offers an add on steak dinner (plan in advance) that sounds divine, and in that environment, will be on our list for our next visit! The lodge itself is well-appointed with a beautiful seating/gathering/eating area downstairs. Breakfast was great with a menu of French toast and apple bake, sausage, fresh fruit, orange juice and some of the best flavored coffee I've had in a LONG time (bourbon infused pecan). Relax amongst the vines at the beautiful Bent Tree Lodge. John and I took a weekend getaway recently to Bent Tree Lodge & Vineyard only about 90 minutes from downtown Atlanta and just down the road from downtown Jasper! Retreat to a cozy bed & breakfast nestled in the North Georgia Mountains that offers a hot breakfast and a day exploring wine. The main house/lodge boasts a beautiful living space with towering fireplace, lounge area, and tables for the morning's complimentary hot breakfast. The morning we were there they had a blueberry French toast bake with compote blueberries, a sweet cream cheese icing, and paired with fruit and sausage. I got to see one of the rooms, The Garden room, that has a swing bed outside to take in the winery views! Behind the lodge is the Cairn View Winery, where we stayed above the tasting room in the Gibbs Suite. A large room where you open to an opulent bathroom with two vanities, a large walk-in shower, and the best dual soaker tub for relaxing. But, the centerpiece of the room is the large comfy king bed, floral accent pillow, gorgeous green accent wall and decor! It screams garden. Plus, you can walk out the door and right into the founders and members den to watch the winery action below. The den is decked out in cow patterns, dark leather, and is plush and inviting. We went to Jasper to visit family and I don't think we could've found a better place for our stay! The property is gorgeous, quiet and secluded and is a great place to get away. The proprietors/hosts Debbie and Brent are some of the kindest and most accommodating people ever. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our morning conversations with them while having the wonderful breakfast and coffee they provided (super yummy, by the way!). Our only regret is that we couldn't spend more time on the property and enjoy their winery. But we plan to on our next trip there! Can't wait! read more

My husband and I went for two nights and LOVED it! The lodge was comfortable, served incredible food, and so quiet I had trouble sleeping........lol We stayed in the Vineyard Suite which has a wooden porch swing. If more than x5 's could be given, I would! Go visit and stay at this jewel in Jasper, Georgia. We attend the jeep fest annually & were planning on taking our camper this year. My best friend & her husband go with us and they were able to secure reservations for the lodge. Debi, our host allowed us to put the camper at the barn. With my first conversation with Debi, she was such a pleasure to talk too & outstanding host. She met us on our arrival at the property & was waiting for us to make our way to the winery. On our first night we enjoyed blueberry lemoncillo spritzers that were so yummy! Please excuse my forgetfulness, I cannot recall the names of the other two fantastic host who were working in the winery. A delightful young lady and a gentleman who is the epitome of a gentleman kept us engaged in wonderful conversation and our glasses of wine never empty. The wine, spritzers and coffee were all outstanding. The winery itself is breathtakingly beautiful. Breakfast is served at the main house and scrumptious. The main house is picturesque & no detail left out. There are two ambassadors there as well. Zooey and Olive greeted us with warmth & a genuine affection (WonderGirl, the Super Dog and Olive, the Catwoman of all). From the first point of contact with Debi to the grand welcoming, this was by far the best experience at a bed and breakfast we've ever had. Debi and Brent's hospitality went far above making us feel like family and VIP guests. They made everyone lodging with them feel uniquely important. We stayed in the Farmhouse suite because it was pet friendly. A crate for our dogs was provided which made it super convenient for us as we only needed to bring their bedding, toys and dog dishes. Having clear communication with Debi in reference to their Pet Policy was greatly appreciated because it was clearly stated on their website. Within our room, doggie blankets were also provided for us to put on the sofa so our pets could join us for some late night tv watching. During our stay, we participated in a painting class brought to us by Monica at M&M Mercantile at The Mill on Etowah in Canton. It was so much fun! During class, Johnny who worked in the winery, was graciously taking our orders for wine slushies, wine refills and charcuterie boards We now have our paintings hanging in our home reminding us of this special time we spent at Bent Tree Lodge and Vineyard. The food! My goodness was it amazing. It's clear to see that Debi is a gifted Chef and puts so much love into her meals. The add-on steak dinner was incredible! Before we arrived, Debi texted to inquire as to how we liked our steaks cooked and she nailed it! The steak was cooked to perfection. She substituted the asparagus due to my allergy and helped us pairing our bottle of wine to our meal. Not one detail was missed or overlooked. Breakfast was delicious just as well. Debi turned me into a coffee drinker when I tried their special Fireside blend made especially for Bent Tree Lodge which can be found in the gift shop for purchase. I regret not getting a bag. The food did not disappoint. I ate everything on my plate both meals. Lastly, upon leaving, we arranged for a to-go picnic lunch. Debi packed it up for us and even shared with us a location of a beautiful nearby mountaintop that was dog friendly with picnic tables. Debi thought of everything. The picnic was PERFECT. Our suite was extremely welcoming complete with complimentary snacks and drinks. The room was so clean with extra towels and aromatherapy toiletries. It was decorated so cute. We slept like babies and the time spent at Bent Tree was relaxing, exactly what we needed. We are already planning another stay. read more

We had a FABULOUS stay at Bent Tree Lodge and Winery! I couldn't recommend it enough. Every little detail and amenity was perfectly crafted and well thought out! Debi & Brent truly thought of everything. Everything was so clean and I've honestly never felt so at home at a b&b. They also were very helpful and had tons of recommendations for nearby places. We ended up spending the evening by the fire pit with new friends. We spent a few adult family mid week days enjoying Bent Tree Lodge & Vineyard and Debi & Brent's hospitality, delicious house blend coffee and breakfasts! The rooms were very spacious and comfortable, each with its own theme and attached bath- our room had a claw foot tub calling my name! We also had an amazing room-attached covered porch where I enjoyed tucking into a book during the drizzly weather. My parent's room was even pet friendly so they were able to bring their fur baby for the visit. My in laws room was atop the property's Cairn View Winery- my mil's dream room- sleeping above a winery! And their wine does not disappoint! There are coffee and snack stations either in your room or nearby your room complete with homemade cookies. The grounds are landscaped and lit to fit the setting and are gorgeous! Debi was wonderful from start to finish! She communicated ahead of our visit with tricks to easily find the property and suggestions for local sites, outings and restaurants- they all exceeded any expectations we had. The guest rooms here are comfortable, extremely clean, and the decor is perfect. The Suite we stayed in has a king size bed that brought comfort and a restful sleep. Our room was very large and includes a separate lounge area, very large bathroom (shower and claw foot tub), and a private seating area on the second floor terrace.The home is beautifully unique and the outdoor large fire pit area is wonderful for socializing. Brent and Debi are engaging hosts that have a wealth of recommendations for food, activities, and hiking in the local area. Debi recommended Amicalola Falls for our hike and the perfect wineries to do wine tasting. We enjoyed our anniversary weekend here at the Bent Tree and look forward to returning. The Bent Tree is a 5 experience. Debi made an egg casserole and french toast soufflé for our breakfast meals that were fabulous -and Brent prepared smoked pig that was delicious! Wow, the entire experience was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Debi and Brent were amazing hosts: kind, friendly, and accommodating. Location is great as well: short drive to several Jasper area wineries with outstanding mountain views! This is a wonderful find in N. GA that is the perfect spot for a getaway. The rooms are all lovely but I especially recommend the Vineyard Room with its sitting area, covered balcony and beautiful clawfoot tub! We enjoyed sitting outsiding around the firepit in the evening and delicious breakfasts in the mornings. The location is an excellent jumping off point to explore the areas many wineries, local shopping, restaurants, Gibbs Gardens and hiking. From the minute I received the first text message from the couple who runs this lodge, I knew we were in for a treat. The property is incredibly beautiful and so is the lodge. We chose the largest room they had and it did not disappoint. The bedrooms are on the top floor, which is wonderful because there is no one stomping around above you to ruin your sleep like a hotel. Ours had a porch with a HUGE swinging bed. We spent more time out there than anywhere because it was such a peaceful place with a gorgeous view of the mountains. The bed was really comfy and had more pillows than I've ever seen in my life...another plus! We slept like babies. The bathroom had a fabulous claw foot tub which I immediately took advantage of after a long drive. The room was well thought out, spacious, comfortable and we wanted for nothing. They really thought of everything that a traveler would want including a coffee bar in the hallway ,perfect for an early riser like me. We enjoyed 2 breakfasts with them and both days were superb! We also ventured into the winery for a bit and I left with a few bottles of very reasonably priced and tasty red wines. The bartender we sat with was so helpful and friendly, we really enjoyed our time there. All in all, I cannot say enough good things about this gem in the North Georgia Mountains. My husband and I scheduled a getaway in North Georgia near where we honeymooned over 10 years ago. We picked the Bent Tree Lodge and Vineyard because it was close to some of the places we wanted to visit. We opted for the Vineyard Suite and were not disappointed. The suite was very spacious and beautifully decorated. We left early Saturday morning to enjoy a hike and would miss breakfast so Debi and Brent packed us some snacks to take with us. My daughter and I just spent this past Saturday evening at Bent Tree, it was a last minute reservation as I was looking at property near by. Our experience could not have been better.....from the initial conversation when discussing availability, to the greeting upon arrival, to the just general conversation when we were lingering around before going to dinner. LOVE Bent Tree Lodge!!! My husband and I stayed there for our wedding night and it was amazing! Debi made sure we felt super comfortable and went over and beyond to make our night special, offering us champagne, candles and a cheese tray! I recently had the pleasure of hosting a rehearsal dinner at the winery. Our family stayed in 4 beautiful rooms at the lodge for two nights during the weekend. Our youngest son was getting married at the Tate house. I can't say enough about Debbie and her husband, they were fantastic hosts and just really good people. Debbie was so helpful in bringing everything together so that we had a really wonderful rehearsal dinner at the winery, a good time was had by all. Debbie and her husband also make a wonderful breakfast every morning that is served family style. The food was delicious. Coffee was outstanding. Everyone had a really good time. The accommodations were first class, clean rooms, comfortable beds, top notch in every way. The place seems to be a little off the beaten path, but it is well worth your effort to find them, I can't help but think there will come a day when you look back finally and say, "I started coming here back when Debbie and her husband did everything themselves." This is the second time staying at the Bent Tree Lodge! And we loved it again. We live in North Atlanta and the Bent Tree Lodge is only 1 hour away for us. It's nice to get out of the city and enjoy the mountains and fresh air so close to home. Lots of things to do. we had dinner out and went to a couple of the winerys close by during the day. If you go to the wineries be sure to pack a picnic lunch! There are tables on the lawn at the fainting goat winery. We did not get to hike this time around, but we will definitely be back. The Bent Tree Lodge has wonderful rooms. Coffee and soft drinks are available at all hours, and the breakfast is to die for. Very clean and tasteful decor. read more

We came to Bent Tree for a girls weekend get a way. It was awesome! Owners, Debi and Brent, are great hosts!!!! The house is beautifully decorated with three adorable "themed" rooms! There's a beautiful Mountain View from the porch along with a fire pit to enjoy while sipping wine. Breakfasts were delicious! Really liked the coffee/water bar right outside the bedrooms. My wife and I spent two lovely nights here following our wedding in Jasper at Sharp Mountain Vineyards. Debi and Brent prepared for us a beautiful room with a gorgeous view of the mountains and a delicious home cooked breakfast. The world's friendliest dog greeted us inside as did three adorable barn cats roaming around the property. The lodge had all the typical amenities including Wi-Fi, satellite TV, modern bathrooms, and comfy beds and pillows. Our room was cozy and quiet.
