WOW! WOW! WOW! Do not skip this beautiful and peaceful experience. Every single thing from…read morebooking online, to arrival, to instructions, to a scrumptious breakfast was stellar. Our interaction with Brent and his mom (Miss Mary) were great, and I will say, I think it was an extra treat to experience the hospitality of Miss Mary!! Clearly, Brent didn't fall far from the tree (no pun intended)! We booked the 'Rustic Cabin Suite' which was their lowest price room available at the time, but it was well furnished, comfortable, quiet, and perfect for a place to stay for two. It was quiet, peaceful, and tranquil. Don't forget to take advantage of the Carin winery next door, and I hear (we missed out) the lodge offers an add on steak dinner (plan in advance) that sounds divine, and in that environment, will be on our list for our next visit! The lodge itself is well-appointed with a beautiful seating/gathering/eating area downstairs. Breakfast was great with a menu of French toast and apple bake, sausage, fresh fruit, orange juice and some of the best flavored coffee I've had in a LONG time (bourbon infused pecan). Beautiful grounds, beautiful people (Brent, Miss Mary, and fellow guests) and you can't go wrong with a stay at the beautiful Bent Tree Lodge and Vineyard!!

Retreat to a cozy bed & breakfast nestled in the North Georgia Mountains that offers a hot breakfast and a day exploring wine. The main house/lodge boasts a beautiful living space with towering fireplace, lounge area, and tables for the morning's complimentary hot breakfast. The morning we were there they had a blueberry French toast bake with compote blueberries, a sweet cream cheese icing, and paired with fruit and sausage. I got to see one of the rooms, The Garden room, that has a swing bed outside to take in the winery views! Behind the lodge is the Cairn View Winery, where we stayed above the tasting room in the Gibbs Suite. A large room where you open to an opulent bathroom with two vanities, a large walk-in shower, and the best dual soaker tub for relaxing. But, the centerpiece of the room is the large comfy king bed, floral accent pillow, gorgeous green accent wall and decor! It screams garden. Plus, you can walk out the door and right into the founders and members den to watch the winery action below. The den is decked out in cow patterns, dark leather, and is plush and inviting. Don't forget the snacks! All snacks, cookies, water and soda in the room are complimentary to overnight guests.

I did enjoy Sharp Mountain Vineyards, but I don't think it quite makes my list of top favorite…read moreGeorgia vineyards. This is a bit of a smaller place, and the interior doesn't fit too many people. There is a patio outside though and you can walk around outside near the vines. I think the most difficult part was getting here and the parking situation. The way to get here was an extremely winding and twisting road. It was pretty hard to drive, but most roads to vineyards in North Georgia are like that. However, I did think this was a little harder to navigate and drive to than others I have been to, though. The most important part is the wine. We got a Groupon deal for 2 premium wine tastings (pick 5) and a souvenir glass. We tried the: -Sauvignon Blanc: Flavors of fresh cut grass, melons, and herbs. Definitely a good one if you are a Sauvignon Blanc fan like I am! -Gewurztraminer: Gardenia and Jamaican allspice. This is the most unique one I tried with a very interesting spice flavor to it. -Sangiovese: Red with fruity flavors of strawberry, cherry, raisin, and spice. Medium-bodied. -Collage: Bordeaux blend with black cherry, raspberry, vanilla, and chocolate. -Trebonnay: Semi-sweet with pear, mango, and citrus. Most of the wines here are all dry. But there is one semi-sweet wine, and 3 sweet wines. I enjoyed all the ones I tried! I really would recommend all of them. After the tasting, I also got a glass of Pickens Pink, a sweet blush wine with cherry-berry flavors. I thought it was a sweet, refreshing finish to the tasting. For parking, there are only 3 or 4 parking spots and the rest of the cars were parallel parked on a very small section of the road. There was no space available when we got there, so we actually parked somewhere across the street and walked there, which I'm not sure if we were allowed to do. The lady working here was very friendly and pretty quick to fill our next tasting. However, she did accidentally overcharge us since we already paid on Groupon and she charged us again. She did reverse it though, so not too big of a deal. Sharp Mountain is a cool place to check out if you are looking for a new vineyard to try in North Georgia! I really liked looking at all the vines since all the rows are marked with what kind of wine those grapes produce. There's also a nice mountain backdrop to the vineyard which gives it a nice view.

She walked through every detail of the wedding and ensured that she understood my vision so that she could make it perfect. She reviewed all of my materials and took over reaching out to vendors. All of them said that they had wonderful experiences with her as well! A few days leading up the the event, the weather showed 100% rain all day long for our wedding. Amber was calm and helped to make many back up plans. Fortunately, it didn't rain and Amber worked so hard to get everything in place once the rain stopped for my dream outdoor ceremony. She truly made my vision come to life. She was there when I needed her and was always willing to lend a helping hand to us. Everything was absolutely perfect in a way that I truly did not think was possible. I highly highly recommend her!

RUN! This company is a SCAM! We hired Amber for our wedding we had scheduled for October 2020. We…read morehired her for both wedding coordination and also as our florist. In our initial conversations, months away from the big day, she seemed great but as we approached that date I had trouble getting ahold of her for a few weeks, which come to find out she had surgery - no problem but professionally you'd think you would give your clients a head up on something like that. She apologized, but my gut just didn't feel right. We scheduled a venue walk through which I had decided would help me make a decision on whether or not to keep her. We met for the walkthrough and she seemed super nice and eager which made me feel better. One thing that was odd, is during the walkthrough she didn't use a measuring tape to get dimensions, she would pick them up and trace them on a piece of paper. This was another red flag of unprofessionalism. We ended up postponing our wedding due to Covid since we were having a destination wedding and my family was unable to fly. Our new wedding date was moved to October 22, 2021. Amber asked us if we were going to pay the rest of our invoice in 2020 which was also odd. We had already paid the deposits for floral and wedding coordination services ($900) but why would we make another $2,000 payment a year before our new wedding date? Again, a little off-putting. This year (2021), I heard from Amber in March just checking in on us which was really nice! I thought maybe she just had a hard year in 2020 due to Covid and now that things had settled down she was back on her A-game. In September, (2 months away from the wedding) I reached out to her to pay the rest of our invoice but we had an item missing so I asked her to put that on and I'd take care of the final payment. She responded that she would and then two weeks went by with no changes on our invoice. We got an email from her assistant Kelsey (I never knew she had an assistant) saying that Amber had been ill for a few weeks and she was stepping in and would be reaching out to each of us to discuss our weddings. I have not heard from either of them since!!! I have emailed, called, texted and NOTHING! At this point I had 1 month to find a florist and a new wedding coordinator. I should have trusted my gut last year and cut her loose then. I've seen 3 other reviews claiming the same problems. I was afraid that she was really sick so I've been nice in all my communications but 3 days after our wedding I saw her post an IG story of her at another wedding. She can't be "seriously ill" if she's attending other weddings. This is truly a sick scam. We are heading to our honeymoon but I will be filing any reports I can on Better Business Bureau and speaking with a family friend who is a lawyer to see what further action can be taken. Small claims court - whatever it takes. I think she's betting that no one will waste their time or money to get their deposits back but I'm not going to sit back and let her take from anyone else if I can help it. Amber, I look forward to seeing you in court in the New Year.
