The bridal suite is so big and has a large kitchen area with a fridge; a living room area with a couch and several chairs; a bathroom with a shower; a room that was used for hair & make up; and a front and back porch. The main venue space has a downstairs space that was used as both the reception area and the dance floor. I enjoyed celebrating my friends at this beautiful spot! I think it would be a great spot for weddings, vow renewals, and/or other large events.

For my wife and me, it was our first wedding since November 2019 (pre-COVID). Personally, the vaccines have been a game-changer for us and we felt comfortable at this indoor-outdoor gathering of about 90-95 people. Plus, we didn't want to miss this. We came in from out of state to make it. At first, I got The Wildflower Barn at Little River confused with Little River Farms, the wedding and special events venue next door. The two venues, plus Brick & Ivey in Marietta, are owned and operated by the same group. I believe there was another wedding going on at Little River Farms at the same time because when I pulled up to The Wildflower Barn at Little River, there were folks with signs directing people which way to go depending on which couple's wedding they were attending. The parking was valet in a gravel driveway and parking lot, which I was not expecting. The valet guys were nice and did a good job. The ceremony was held outside, unplugged. The cocktail hour was held inside and outside. The dinner reception was held inside the barn. And there was a beautiful lantern send-off outside, the way we came in. Everything was well-organized and went off without a hitch, as far as I could tell. For an event with about 90-95 people, I thought the size of The Wildflower Barn at Little River was appropriate. Over 100, I suspect it may start feeling tight. Overall, I thought the venue was beautiful, particularly the outside with all the plants and well-manicured landscaping, whimsical string lighting, and farm feel. Inside, the reception space felt open and modern. The space was very well lit and also well ventilated and air conditioned. At the reception dinner, a served buffet was catered by Southern Charmed Catering by Little River Farms. I thought the food was delicious. It consisted of a fresh spring mix salad with choice of honey balsamic or ranch dressing, green beans amandine, whipped buttermilk potatoes, mesquite-grilled chicken breast, pork chops with maple bourbon beurre blanc with sweet and spicy BBQ sauces, and dinner rolls. During cocktail hour, there were two hors d'oeuvres, chicken satay (skewers) and crab rangoon. During both the cocktail hour and reception, there were two open bars, one inside and one outside. King of Pops was on-site as was Pearl's Tea of Suwanee (bubble tea). Robot Booth provided the fun photo booth and DJ Rylan with DJ Cuttlefish, the team of DJs associated with Robot Booth, was the emcee and provided the music (playlist by the bride). I was told the wedding cake was by Angel Bakery, located inside Hong Kong Supermarket in Norcross, and additional dessert cake was provided by Nothing Bundt Cakes. I was familiar with all of the vendors except for Angel Bakery which I think is well-known among the Asian (specifically, Vietnamese) community in Gwinnett. The cake was excellent. My wife and I really enjoyed ourselves at The Wildflower Barn at Little River. I think it's an ideal wedding venue depending on what you're going for.

We hired a professional photographer for our ceremony and were unaware until we received our photos…read morethat Shawn (officiant) brought her teenage son, without asking, to photograph our entire ceremony for HER website. We've talked to her on numerous occasions prior to the ceremony and at no point in time did she mention bringing someone to take photos. In addition, It does not state in the contract that she is bringing someone to take photos. As a courtesy and a professional she should have asked us if we hired a photographer or videographer for our ceremony. We would have happily provided photos for her website. Her son is in the majority of our photos, holding his camera up in the background. They completely disregarded us and our photographer as if our special occasion was their ceremony. He stood in the front and center throughout the entire ceremony! He was not only a distraction to our photographer but also to our guests. We were later told by the photographer that she had to continually tell him to move so that she could do her job. After receiving our photos we contacted the officiant immediately, regarding her son's presence in our photos. Rather than apologize or offer a discount she became very defensive and blamed our photographer. Rather than ask us for photos she decided to disrespect us and our photographer to promote herself. She is very unprofessional, rude and selfish.

When we started looking a year ago for a venue for my son's wedding in 2023 (this year), we chose this venue because it was small, charming and very affordable- it was under a different name and ownership. In March of this year (2023) it was sold, and purchased by Southern Grace Event Center. Our wedding was not going to be until June and honestly I had no idea what to expect- from renovations to change in ownership. Let me say, on June 3rd, we could not have asked for a more beautiful setting for a wedding! The venue was BREATHTAKING. The changes and upgrades included an open chapel with beautiful architectural design, new bride and groom suites, a completely renovated indoor reception hall with exposed beams on the ceiling, new chandeliers and floor to ceiling stone fireplace, a covered patio w a fireplace and a passthrough window from the bar (we used this as a cigar bar patio) as well as stunning gardens that included a waterfall, blooming roses and hydrangeas. IT WAS AMAZING! And, the new owner John was a joy to work with--so delightful and accommodating. He honored everything in our original contract and more. The friend of the owner is the one who schedules and curates the wedding tours. She was very informative and knowledgeable about the venue. She and the owner were both accommodating when I requested a special place for our ceremony. Sounded wonderful and inviting! I told the friend of the owner that night several hours after the tour that I would like to move forward with a contract and date. That week, I did not receive any responses from my texts, emails, and phone calls. I asked my mom to try and contact her that following Saturday one week after the tour. She answered and apologized stating that she had been traveling for work (she relayed to us that she works a full time job and she is just helping her friend out on the weekends to schedule tours). She then sent me an email in response stating to give her one week to get the contract over to me. The week has past and I still yet have had any communication or received the contract. With such a lack of communication or decency for a paying customer, I would not feel comfortable to have my wedding at this location. The amount of stress a wedding comes with is unprecedented and this whole experience with this venue has left me extremely upset and disheartened.
