Five Diamond Stars After researching several plumbing companies, I focused less on online reviews and more on verifying licensing and professionalism. BEN'S PLUMBING in Whittier 562-693-7926 stood out immediately. They were the only company that answered their phone on a Sunday, which says a lot about their commitment to customer service. I spoke with a friendly and professional office manager lady who scheduled an appointment for Monday afternoon since my situation was not an emergency. The process was straightforward, courteous, and refreshingly honest. Jeremy, the technician, arrived on time and quickly demonstrated both expertise and integrity. He discovered that the washer, bolts, and wax ring were completely deteriorated and needed replacement. What impressed me most was not only how efficiently he completed the repair, but how carefully and thoroughly he approached the job. He took the time to make sure everything was adjusted properly, functioning correctly, and left the work area clean throughout the process. In today's service industry, it's increasingly rare to find a company that combines technical skill, professionalism, responsiveness, and fair pricing. BEN'S PLUMBING delivered on all four. Jeremy's workmanship and attention to detail gave me complete confidence that the job was done right the first time. If you're looking for a plumbing company that values its customers, provides quality work, and charges fair and reasonable rates, I highly recommend BEN'S PLUMBING. They've earned my trust and my future business. read more

Ben's Plumbing has a great team. They took good care of me from the initial contact, to troubleshooting, finding parts and making the repair/install. Ary was my initial contact, and Chris was the plumber that evaluated the repair. My house had a female thread on the pipe but my new shower system needed a standard male thread. In a nutshell, Chris was able to install without opening the wall and busting custom tiles. That was awesome! They came back to fix a different problem with my laundry water hookup. They did a great job with that too. A+ read more

I called this company to come out and change an outdoor faucet that was leaking. No one answered the phone so I left a message. Four days later I get a return phone call from this company. I had already called Norwalk La Mirada plumbing and had the faucet repaired - Norwalk La Mirada Plumbing came out within 24 hours. Don't waste your time with this company. read more

We have used Ben's Plumbing several times for various jobs. They have always been thorough, professional and courteous. Their prices beat, by far, other companies we contacted. Most recently our water heater pilot went out due to heavy rains and winds. They responded in less than an hour and corrected the issue. In addition, they took steps to prevent it from happening again. Great job! Unfortunately, I do not remember the names of the most recent Techs. read more

Ben and his team are professional and effective. They were able to diagnose the issue and take care of it in a reasonable amount of time. If you need a plumber, do not hesitate in contacting them. read more

Being a Whittier resident, I called Ben's on a Thursday since I couldn't unplug a bathroom sink drainage issue. The owner quoted me a price and said they would be sending their technician Brandon out the same day - within hours. Brandon called two hours later and confirmed he would arrive at my house in half an hour. After trying to snake out the sink from the top, he advised me he had to remove a pipe underneath the sink to run the snake thru. Since the pipe had not been removed for decades - his concern was that a pipe to the sink may break and disclosed this. Brandon was able to loosen the pipe without any damage, cleaned up everything and the price was reasonable. Thanks to Brandon, I would call Ben's Plumbing for any future plumbing needs and recommend them. read more

Ben made it right. He took the time to hear me out and listen to my concerns. Ben and his team came and did work on my property (pipe burst, dry wall, garbage disposal problem) and I'm a happy grumpy cat lady. Mostly .... I'm giving 5 stars because he didn't take my last post personally ... he took my call and sent a team to do a great job. read more

I was given their info from a friend when my drains were clogged. I was immediately impressed with how quickly they were able to come out (same day I called). Brandon was incredibly professional and speedy, and clean! (One of my pet peeves, a plumber, who leaves a mess after they leave). Another thing I really thought was nice, was he explained how the plumbing in my house works-- like what happens to the food after it goes down the drain. Just knowing that is very helpful for me. I'm happy I found myself a plumber who is reliable and trust worthy. You will not be disappointed with their service. read more

Last November we discovered water on our kitchen floor. Our condo association sent out a plumber who said it's not a slab leak and not that bad. It way late on Friday, it could wait til Monday unless we wanted to pay more. By Saturday night, I was cooking dinner standing in a puddle. Sunday it was so bad, my wet vac couldn't keep up so I felt I had to call the emergency plumber. He showed up fairly quickly, confirmed that it was indeed a slab leak. Our kitchen was remodeled recently and I was afraid that it would have to be demolished. The emergency plumber said that he would be more comfortable referring the job to Ben's plumbing and rooter. Thank goodness he did. The plumbers took two days to very carefully, almost surgically, to repair the leak. Aside from some cabinetry under the sink, you wouldn't know any work was done. Well done guys. Thank you so much. read more

Ben saved the day... Again! Kitchen faucet hot water not just leaking, running as if it was on couldn't turn it off at 8:45pm. I called Ben's Plumbing and he came right out, fixed the issue, installed a new faucet all in record time. Now here's the absolutely mind-blowing part, today Ben was celebrating his anniversary with his wife, he had just gotten home when I called and still came out to fix my disaster. His wife is a saint! Thank you Ben and may you have many many more happy anniversaries with your wife! If you are looking for an honest, reliable, fair plumbing service, call Ben! read more

We are very happy with the service we received from Ben's Plumbing. Definitely recommend. The employees who came out to help us were professional and knew exactly what they were doing (Ray and Kostas). We contacted Ben, and got a response immediately from Ray. Got repairs done the same day. In fact, within 2 hours of reaching out- our issues were resolved! We had a clog in bathroom sink and low pressure on hot water side of kitchen sink. We are so grateful for them! Also, I'd like to add that they came on a rainy day, which I feel like its easy to make a mess- they left everything spotless! read more

Bens Plumbing and Rooter - Our new clean out. - Plumbing Near Me

Our garage disposal stopped working but I could still hear the engine running. The first company that I contacted on Yelp for a quote let me know that the garbage disposal was no longer useful so it would have to be replaced. The replacement and labor was quoted as $229. Luckily, I made an appointment with Ben's Plumbing and Rooter before I even read the previous quote. When I spoke with Ben over the phone and I told him about the garbage disposal, he said it was most likely jammed and he would just charge me $69 to come out and fix it. Ben came out and fixed my problem in no time. He also took some time to do a free consult on another little problem we were having. I highly recommend his services! read more

Im a real estate broker (for 25 years) so Ive worked with a lot of plumbers and plumbing issues. Ben was responsive and showed up earlier than I expected. Hot & cold copper water lines were crossed at couple locations under the house. Chris was patient enough to do a thorough inspection by crawling under the house's crawl space. Hot & cold copper water lines were repiped and now all faucets left handle is hot and right handle is cold like it should be. Chris went above and beyond to check all plumbing and make sure everything is ok. Chris kept his work area clean and cleaned up after all work was done as if he was one of the elf from The Elves and the Shoemaker. The lady in the office who I talked to over the phone was polite and professional. She was very knowledgeable about plumbing compared to other companies I've called before. Definitely will call Ben's Plumbing again and will be referring to all my family and friends. read more

Can't say enough good about Ben. I had two clogged toilets on a Sunday and he came out within 90 minutes from me calling in. Everyone was super nice - Sandy on the phone, who took my call, Ben who came out and his assistant. Super nice, explained everything, great rate, quickly in and out and left our bathroom super clean. I will definitely use Ben's Plumbing for everything from now on and definitely recommend him to anyone. P.S. My dog didn't bark at Ben when he came to the door. She barks at everyone. Ben's Plumbing is a very well run company. We have used Ben before and will continue to call him as our plumber. Ben answers the phone, is polite, dispatches his crew immediately, and his prices are great. Recently I called Ben for a tub backup and despite him dealing with a flat tire he still took the time to take my call and dispatch someone immediately. Within 10 minutes he tech was at my door. Ben is awesome! He is upfront and tells you how it is. No BS or anything like it. He is a friendly guy. We had issues with our plumbing being backed up because of roots. Cleared them out. He also helped out with our water heater with the pilot not staying on. Drained it, replaced parts. Finished the job in 1 hour. If he notices anything wrong with your equipment, he will tell you while he is fixing it. So that's a plus. He does clean up after he is done with the job. The best thing is that he is local. We've used his services multiple times. He's our go-to guy when it comes to plumbing issues. Highly recommended! Seriously! read more

Expensive, shoddy work. Less than two years ago, my husband accidentally punctured a pvc pipe with a shovel while doing some gardening. Water shot up like a geiser. We shut off the water main and called Ben's. Two guys came out and quoted us $450 to fix it. We felt like we were in a pinch, so we agreed, although that seemed very pricey. They started working on the job, but had to leave for a supply run. They finally came back and finished the repair. Fast forward to a few weeks ago, and our gardener told us that he noticed an underground leak. (Same spot as the repair) He said it had been leaking for quite awhile. Ben's crew came out again and said that they could fix it again for us, but because it had been almost two years that their warranty is no longer in effect. We were also told that although now the job would normally cost over $600, they would "only" charge us the same price as last time. (Oh, how considerate). And by the way, if you haven't figured it out yet, NO, they don't guarantee their work. I was not happy about the idea that we could potentially be paying them every 1.75 years to come out and repair their repair. Fool me once... We called another plumber out for a second opinion. He said that the job was done incorrectly (cheaply and using the the wrong materials and wrong method). He said that they took the easy way out and that there is no way that this type of work would hold up in the long run (which was exactly our predicament). He explained the way he would do it. My husband watched him repair it and totally has confidence that the repair was done with competence and integrity. AND it only cost us $250. I would not recommend Ben's. Even at the time of the original repair, my gut told me that we were being ripped off and/or taken advantage of. Not my kind of people. We are much happier and much more confident in the work of our new plumber. read more
