I called Mitch Clemmons Plumbing on a Friday afternoon with an urgent situation -- a washing machine at my parents' home that wouldn't stop filling. Devin was able to squeeze me in the same day, which I really appreciated given the circumstances. Within a couple of hours, Fabian arrived right on time within the promised window. He quickly diagnosed the washing machine issue, and what impressed me most was how attentive and flexible he was once he was on-site. I also mentioned a longstanding problem we'd been dealing with -- a shower that had been causing water to leak onto the concrete slab in the garage -- and he tackled that too. Fabian expertly diagnosed the source and cause of the leak. He even noticed the toilet was running and took care of that for us too. In February of this year Mitch Clemmons had helped us with a partial clog in our second floor toilet. During this call out they were very professional and conscientious. That was a great experience. However, it would seem that their auger had punched through an admittedly corroded drain pipe which passed through our garage. The hole was punched through the top of the pipe so it wasn't actively leaking which meant I didn't really notice it until months later. I had called them back out to have a look and while I didn't expect them to pay for the damage outright because corroded pipes are just going to be fragile, I was hoping they would at least account for their part in the damage and lack of accounting for pipe condition considerations. However, the tech flat out rejected the possibility that his auger could have caused the damage. I asked him what could possibly cause the pipe material to break outwards, leave one big streak of leaking on the wall, and then never leak again. His response was just corrosion. I am not one to hold unfortunate turns of events on service providers, but the outright denial of responsibility is something I felt the need to say something about. They are professional, but if they damage something don't expect any accountability. Edit: I added a photo to show the length of pipe they claim could not be reached by the auger in their response. The depth of the floor and toilet plus the pipe would seem right around 6 feet. I invited them to unroll the auger and see how far it reached and they said they would charge me to do that! Really, you'd think you'd be itching to roll that out if it could prove beyond a doubt it didn't cause it by coming up way short, right? Ridiculous. read more

About 2 weeks ago at about 7am my ancient water heater decided to give up. I called Mitch Clemmons and a very kind person that answered the phone, YES A HUMAN ANSWERED THE PHONE, which I appreciated since I was very upset and needed help. I had some clogs the few days before and tried the usual plunging and snake but no help. I called this place and they arrived within the hour because I was leaving town later that evening. They can and diagnosed the problem which was my clean out was clogged and had to be replaced along with a pressure clean out of the sewer line. They explained everything to me and although it was pricey they completed the job in two days and it's been working great since! The owner replied saying everything was kosher. However, I have receipts that prove otherwise. I have blink video footage of their tech coming and going. He was here no more than 2 hours, and 30 mins of that was him getting the generic no-name faucet they charged $600 for. They should've charged no more than 2 hours of labor and yet they still claim they were here 3.5 hours. They're doing damage control at this point but I have all the receipts. I should've known better than trust a company that has a DBA of "trusty plumbers" Terrible that they're doubling and tripling down on this. read more

I wanted to post my 5 star review today for Mitch Clemmons Plumbing because of both their service and warranty. We had called them due to a small leak in a valve that they had installed about a year go. We thought the installation had been too long ago to be warranted but were silently hoping for at least a price break on the repair. Fabian, the plumber who came by, informed us that our warranty was expiring in a couple days so the fix he did (which included a different valve and an extra trip to buy the part) was free! I was impressed with the one-year warranty since it seems most warranties are only for 3 months. It's good to know they stand behind their work and brought up the warranty without having to be asked. read more

In this case, tech Fabian Garcia came exactly when promised, sussed out our problem (this time we managed to totally eff up our powerful garbage disposal by unwittingly dropping a tiny screw in there, turning machine on eliciting a mind-blowingly loud racket, and managing to make the screw wind itself with its threads into the edge of the device. Fingers, tweezers, chopsticks, sticky tape on the end of a knife, and other attempts all were for naught: nothing would get that screw out. Today, I had an appointment with the plumber to repair my leaky toilet. My appointment was between 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. Charlene called and said the plumber was behind schedule and will be 1 hour to late, and she indicated an arrival time of 1:15 pm. So I come home from work so that I can meet the plumber. I get paid hourly and if I don't work I don't get paid. The plumber didn't show, and I got a text that the plumber will show between 3 to 4 pm today. Whether or not the plumber shows, there are performance issues with this company, and I do not recommend them to anyone. read more

What a terrible experience! Recently this company sent out a technician to clear the drain in the bathroom, when he arrived, he took a look at the job and then left. Which was kind of bizarre and then he comes back. 30 minutes later with a bucket and some small equipment. He then proceeded to figet with a screw in the bathtub and couldn't get it off. So the technician was going to leave and not conduct the work. The tenant had to help him remove the screw. After which the technician tried to snake the drain but couldn't. He then left the bathtub opened up and left without telling anyone anything and half did the job and did not finish. We received complaints from the tenants. Totally terrible service from this company! read more

DATE OF SERVICE 6/30/25 I was very fortunate to find Mitch Clemmons Plumbing, and have been with them for several years. I hit the jackpot with these guys!!! They are the "real deal"! The first time they arrived years ago, for a service call, their work was outstanding, and it has not changed, except to get better and better. And the price is right too!!! Glen has been my "go-to" guy for many years, but all the others who have accompanied him from time to time are also well informed and well trained. I have an old house, so no surprise that I have a lot of plumbing problems. Glen and his guys can solve absolutely anything, even the most radical and scary. One example, a year or so ago, I woke up to find I had a "flood" in my bonus room bar area. It wasn't just a little leak, it was coming in strong and steady, and by then the carpet was mushy with water, and getting worse every minute. I, of course, was devastated. I called Mitch Clemmons in a panic immediately, and told them my problem. As always, I got immediate help. Glen was just leaving for an especially important appointment, and it would not have been good for him to be late. Well, that didn't stop our guy!!!! He talked to me personally, and said he would be right over, and was here in just a few minutes. He had explained on the phone that he would fix what he could at the moment, and then he said not to worry, he WOULD be back that day. Glen arrived within just a few minutes, and got the water flow stopped until he could get back to finish the job. At that point, the water flow was temporarily under control, which gave Glen enough time to go on to his other appointment. It was one of California's hotter days, and a few hours later, Glen showed up just as he had promised, hot and tired but ready to work. I felt bad because he had to actually lie down in this HUGE area of water left over from the morning flood in the bar to access the areas he needed to so he could fix it. As he was struggling to get the repair done, I apologized that he had to lie directly in the water, and he was soaked. He replied to me "Well, tell ya what. It feels pretty darned good to me in here, the first time I've been comfortable all day". That's the kind of guy he is. Nothing stops him, he keeps his promises, and he always brings his sense of humor. It actually turned out that the water was coming from a pipe in the bar that had been capped off at least 20 years ago. Somehow, it came loose, and nothing would stop it. I turned off the water at that time, of course, but that didn't make a dent. It just kept coming. There are lots of stories like that and , that's the kind of service you get at Clemmons. This sounds corny, but they really DO care about their customers. Where, these days, do you find that kind of personal service, and concern for the customers? I'll tell you where. NOWHERE! Sadly, in the last few tragic years for our Country, any kind of service, let alone personal service from a business where the people care, has all but disappeared. Mitch and his Team, including those working in the office, and all other areas, are exceptional in the world today. Always courteous and immediately moving to help as fast as they can. I am disgusted with how Mitch Clemmons Plumbing overcharged me in December of 2024. Their technician, Gabriel Salido, came to my home to unblock the pipes. The advertised fee was $98.00. He inspected my access points, and told me he would have to remove one toilet to put a snake through. This was absurd, as this NEVER was done by any other plumbing contractor in the past. I voiced my concern about the procedure, and about the estimate of $589.00. I was sure it was just toilet paper as in the past (that is exactly what it turned out to be!). Gabriel told me that "the access point by the restroom was too small and he didn't want to take a chance with the snake getting stuck on something." Yet, he didn't even try to put a snake in!! Gabriel lied and said that the only available access is through the roof vent. Absurd again! I have three access points! The smallest is about 2 inches, another one about 4 inches, and the largest one about 5 inches. There are snakes for access points which are less than 2 inches in diameter! I pointed this out to him. He told me that one of the access points is too small, and another one is not an access point but is an outlet for my washer in the laundry room, which is another lie, as it is a professionally-installed access point to the plumbing system, right behind the toilet wall. He didn't even talk about the third, larger access point, outside of the home. I needed the pipes unblocked, and he somehow convinced me that it was the only way, so I agreed to the removal of the toilet. In his invoice, he wrote that my "drain pipe is broken or separated and that roots are present." This is also a lie, as the pipes which were blocked are NOT UNDERGROUND for my home for any roots to break through them. I eventually contacted the office manager, Charlene, and expressed my shock that this appeared to be an outright UPCHARGE so that the technician could make more money. Charlene and I went back and forth with emails, each time the company making excuses for the technician's misrepresentations. In April 2025, a "supervisor" was sent to my home. I could not be home, so my wife took care of the appointment. The supervisor wrote the following in his report: "Wife did mention they had the same problem and that the other company went through a 2" access for laundry to clear main line stoppage. Supervisor explained to the wife that yes the laundry line does tie into the main line and it would be possible to clear it from that access point but would be at a risk of getting stuck because of it being a smaller pipe, so we do not take that risk because we would be fully responsible." I then wrote an email to Charlene, pointing out that the supervisor himself agreed that the 2-inch access point tied in to the main line and it could be used to clear the pipes! In my last email to Charlene on 4/14/25, I pointed this out and asked for an explanation as to what "risks" are present for the snake to get caught, when all previous plumbing contractors which have cleared my lines have NEVER had any issues. I also demanded that a refund for the excess over the $98.00 advertised line clean-up be sent to me immediately. As of 7/18/25, I have not heard from Charlene or from anyone at Mitch Clemmons.
