Wasnt sure what to expect upon visiting. I wish they had more toppings to customize. They offer a few off the wall regular flavors. Think "lemon lavender with pepper". However a great concept with the freshly made donut base and to glaze and top the donuts in front of you. I would have loved some crumbled bacon for my salted maple and some fresh strawberries and whipped cream for the vanilla glazed. I guess they have some cool "seasonal" (temporary) flavors which arent any fun when someone is visiting. Still a fun experience, but there's room for improvement! read more

Our first trip was great and the second was terrible so the rating is an average. We arrived last night shortly after 8. There were already 5 people in the restaurant. We ordered donuts "for here" and were told we couldn't stay because they were closing early because it had been too slow. So they gave us our cold donuts and basically asked us to leave. We sat outside to eat and watched them turn 2 people away at the door then let two different people in to order a short while later. The inconsistency, rush, and cold donuts was frustrating. Loved this place. Came into town for Graduation and some wedding planning so I wanted to taste test some donuts. We want donuts for the wedding and I was not disappointed. One of my favorite places in the region and probably my favorite donuts anywhere! It's hard to drive to Corvallis without stopping at Benny's! The best part is probably that the donuts are always hot and fresh. More often than not, if I go in when it's not busy, they throw out whatever donuts they have sitting there and bring out new fresh ones. I have yet to get a donut that wasn't still hot. The donuts are all plain cake donuts, which I normally don't like. But these are the perfect cake donut, even before they dip them in the delicious toppings! They are very sweet, and I have trouble eating more than 1 or 2, but I wouldn't want them any other way. In fact, after writing this review, I think I'm going to have to go there today! read more
