Long review - While everyone we encountered is very nice I have to give one star. Anyone can make…read morea mistake but when you are paying over $20,000 for a service there are certain expectations. First the job was $2500 more than initially quoted. I don't mind paying for a service, I expect to, but I am not an electrical expert so when I ask someone for a quote I think it's reasonable that they, being the experts, can tell me what needs to be done, apparently in the quote process some things were missed, I expressed my displeasure, moving on. Then, after the job was "completed" we had small things not done, again mistakes can be made no big deal, it was over the July 4th weekend, but even then just a response of we got your info we will address it, but we were told that they have other jobs going and basically they will get to it and it was not until we received a text requesting a review and a low review was given that we got a response. Small things finally fixed. HOWEVER, apparently the saga continues in that we were double charged to the tune of $21,200 so yes $42,400 (more than I paid for my 2017 Suburban). Again, mistakes happen but since we've tried to contact Advantage and received no response my hope is they will see this review and call. They are pleasant people and I hate giving a bad review but it seems to be the only way to get their attention.

If you have a plumbing problem in the Fort Walton Beach area, call ARTISAN PLUMBING at 850-244-4414 I have been a fan of Old Republic for many years, but I have had to work through challenges when they denied customers coverage. They always come through in the end, but it took my intervention. However, they let me down big time, this time. I am just glad it was me and not a customer. I bought a townhome in Fort Walton in April. The renter who has been there for 2 years called me saying the hot water handle was leaking in the shower. At the time of purchase, I had ordered a basic $460 protection plan from ORHP. They sent a plumber out the day after I called. He was very polite but could not get the valve out. In the process, he broke the value at the stem base, caused a water stain on my ceiling below (which was not there when he arrived) and broke the water at the meter (which I did not know until he left.) In summary: The plumber left (with the water still leaking at the valve, damaging my ceiling and at the meter) telling me they would have to remove the entire tub 'for access' to replace the valve. The tub backed to an external wall that was vinyl and I asked why they couldn't go in from the outside? He said that would be too dangerous for him. Then, later in the day, Old Republic called me and said as soon as I could either remove the tub or cut a hole in the side of my townhome 'FOR ACCESS' they would send the plumber back out. I asked if they had a plumber that could create 'the access' for me and I would pay them...but they didn't have anyone. I even called a handyman to do it, but they couldn't do it fast...Then, I called ARTISAN PLUMBING. Reid (the owner) came by at the end of his already long day (5:30 last night) and it took two hours of careful sawing and cutting, but he got the old stem removed and installed a new valve stem! All for $198. AWESOME!!! Had I called Artisan Plumbing first I likely would not be stuck with a damaged ceiling and broken meter pipe. The first plumber likely did not take the precautions needed and he broke the stem at the base. He also did not tell me the meter line was also broken. He just left and left me hanging. Old Republic left me hanging, turning the entire burden to me to try and create 'access' because their lame plumber didn't have the knowledge or tools to do the job properly. They added insult to injury by telling me they had NO PLUMBERS who could help 'provide access' even if I paid for it. CRAZY! Now I am left with additional expenses to fix a water damaged ceiling too. Thanks to Reid at Artisan plumbing, the problem is fixed and my sweet renter didn't have to take a single cold shower...now to fix the ceiling. UGH. Thanks for nothing' Old Republic Home Protection.' I will only say their name sarcastically in the future. I know to call Artisan Plumbing FIRST the next time.....

Apparently you didn't understand what the problem was, used unnecessary parts and spent a long time "repairing" it. Minor repairs to two toilets were acceptable. You returned to problem solve and fix it, though it was still leaking when you left. Again you said that it was suppose to be that way. After researching we found the fixture that we have, on line at Lowe's. It also had diagrams on parts and how to install it and replacement parts. We sent this information to you. You returned a third time and, after the information we sent you, had it repaired in a very short time. After the first visit you charged us $590 and had to return twice, after WE figured out what the problem was. The stopper is still not like the one in the other sink. We feel that parts and labor on the first visit would have been unnecessary if you had had the correct parts. We have never had repair service that was this unsatisfactory.
