Overall, our initial experience with Elliott Plumbing was fantastic. They were quick, knowledgeable, and DRASTICALLY inexpensive compared to an original quote. However, when a belly was discovered in the line that was repaired, they wanted to charge us again to correct the issue. They claim the originally repair was for a broken pipe and had no way of knowing a belly existed. Well that maybe, we also have no way of knowing if their repair CREATED the belly. Correct me if I'm wrong but if you're providing a service, it is your obligation to guarantee your work. Elliott plumbing failed to guarantee their work and that's why I would be cautious. For reference, all this happened within a mater of days. They don't try to cheat you! Very honest. This is the second time that I've used them. For different things. This time it ended up being something I could fix so he showed me how. Last time same thing. Both times only charged me service fee. As opposed to another well known company that managed to make things worse and cost a fortune. read more

They quickly responded to my plumbing emergency (shower leak) and satisfactorily resolved it. While the new valve they installed solved the problem, it was not as esthetic as the original (stamped metal cover) and not what I would have chosen given some additional options. I had a good experience with this company after my sister in law recommended them. Took them a while to get out and once they did come, they said they called me to tell me what the problem was but I received no voicemail from them. I don't answer spam calls so maybe that's what it came through as. I had to follow up or the job would not have gotten done, which also delayed the work further. You may not have this issue, but this was rental for us and timely communication and/or an email f/u if they don't leave vms would be appropriate. I do recommend them though. read more

Absolutely great! I was home alone when they came to fix my sink. The Plummer was polite and professional and fixed my broken garage disposal in about 4 minutes. When the work was done I was upstairs by myself and instead of him coming upstairs and finding me like a creeper, he called me from outside and discussed the issue. Contracted to replace the outdated plumbing with PEX in my new home. Cost $7000 for a few hundred dollars worth of material and a couple of days worth of work. NUMEROUS problems with the install. -Ran the new lines over AC ductwork without a care to what should have occurred. Had to remove and rework the AC ductwork so the air conditioning wasn't so restricted. - Destroyed the interior of my cabinets under the sinks to run the lines. Never fixed. - Destroyed the drywall running lines. Never fixed. - The water heater hookups look like they were installed by a cross eyed child with no plumbing experience. - Crossed the attic runs numerous times making it difficult to mount correctly and preventing any possibility of upgrading the attic space where the pipes are. - Visible PEX lines running to fixtures instead of using copper stub outs. - Didn't use stub outs of any kind, so the "stub outs" move and flex, instead of being a solid mount. - Refused to insulate the piping because "it wasn't needed" - Didn't clean up any mess. Left piping in the house and attic. Seriously go with ANYONE else. read more

Do not use this company!!!! I had a sewer line ran to the street to tap into city sewage. I was away when the job was done but was notified that the job was complete and all was working so I paid the 5000 dollar invoice. Once I returned I found that this company tore up my irrigation system and found the damaged pipes laying on the ground where they had dug the trench. I also found the power to my garage no longer worked since they also cut my power feed. I contacted this company a number of times toidentified the issues and was told Mark would have to call me back.I even went into there office and explained it all, but always was told they would tell mark. after 3 months still have heard nothing and I will be seeking legal help. read more

Our rental home had serious plumbing issues. So bad we removed the bottom of the wall in the laundry room to fix all the issues. First plumbing company was terrible and the quote was in the thousands. My 93 year old father had just used Elliott plumbing and raved about the service and price and how quick they did the work. Elliott's plumbing saved the day and I was able to get home and finish the job. Whatever you do, do not us this company! Not only do the tech's not have the technical competency to perform service calls but the owner is unethical and a crook. My 4 year old water heater stopped working and a friend who refurbishes houses called Elliott Plumbing for me as she said they would respond quickly. They did respond quickly. As I found out later it was with a technician who does construction installation, not service calls - which requires a significantly different and enhanced set of skills. He showed up in a construction truck that was not equipment with the diagnostic or cleaning equipment to properly diagnose the problem. He cleaned the bottom of the unit and when it still didnt work he insisted that the unit needed to be replaced (appx. $1,000). I went on Youtube and discovered a 3 step, 30 second reset procedure which I did in his presence and the unit fired up immediately. The tech left immediately thereafter. Two days later I received a call from my friend who got a bill for $115 for the service call. I asked her to tell Elliott to call me direct to discuss the bill. They did not so I had to call them. The tech acknowledged I fixed it and said that if I had only given him more time (which they were billing me for) that he would have figured it out. I asked the tech "What is a fair amount I should pay for something I fixed myself?". He told me that I would have to deal with the owner. The owner did not call me, he called my friend instead threatening her that if he didnt get paid that she would never be able to use his services again. He quipped "A service call is a service call". As she is a friend I paid her the service call fee. Owner lacks professional acumen to handle this properly and directly with customer instead he chose to bully an older women with whom he had leverage. read more

Received many recommendations for them but, unfortunately, we needed someone quickly for a leak from unknown source and they were booked for 2 days. But, Kathy was able to refer 2 companies. One was able to come the next AM at 9am...long story short, the next day they never came, after I called and was told they were running late ...well,, then they kept me waiting over an hour more so I called Elliott back and luckily they had a cancellation and could fit us in that morning. Well, Melody (who's great) called 5 minutes later to say they were on their way! Leak source was found within an hour of them working and they were very polite and knowledgeable. DO NOT USE !!! I had to call them 3 times to find out when they were coming and all 3 times they lied. They told me three different times over the past 2 days and have yet to show up. They never called to explain. Nothing... Finally I called to cancel and they wouldn't even answer the phone. Elliott's is always our first call, ever since moving into our Bluewater home 16 years ago. Reliable, honest, fair, and quick to respond. Used to love chatting on the phone with senior Mr. Elliott, and now we continue to have reliable great service with Mark Elliott in charge. I am still surprised by the negative review I just read posted Sept 2019- I have had numerous service calls over the years and what was described is absolutely nothing like the service I have received- at all! I just got off phone to schedule yet another needed plumbing repair (this time toilet issue) and they are always quick to get us scheduled. We have called them for leaky faucets, pipe leak, water heater, toilets, etc.... over the 16 years. There is no one else I would call or trust. I am still baffled by the Sept 2019 review (and I have no connection to Elliott's other than as a long time customer), so I would encourage anyone to do their research and ask around about Elliott's as I think you will find they are a reliable, great company. I am confident my upcoming service call will go just as well as all the others. read more
