Been coming here for 40 yrs, favorite spot for hibachi! food is always great. Waitstaff friendly and attentive. Only downside is portions have shrunk and prices have gone up. However, thats everywhere- thanks uncle joe! read more

Joseph Conrad, the hibachi chef, was phenomenal, absolute amazing experience every time I've dealt with him! Nothing but positivity, and good energy from him! I also wanted to mention the smiling, brilliant server, Stanley! Never had a better waiter then him here, he was funny, and charismatic and lightens your day! Amazing friendly, staff, give them a raise! read more

Dani was amazing!! Great dinner... fried rice was THE BEST!! Great service!! Will be back!

We showed up without a reservation and only waited less than 20 minutes. All of the staff was super friendly and polite. Everyone in our party had the Surf and Turf. And it was really Good. The scallops were my favorite!! Our chef was new only two weeks into it but did an excellent job!! I would definitely go back. read more

The hood of our table was not working so 2 people literally sat in overwhelming smoke the entire time. We told the manager who told us there was nothing he could do / we could move to another table in the middle of cooking (which the hibachi chef said no to). Horrible service by management, they did not care that 2 people could barely breath through the entire Christmas dinner. read more

Came in for a hibachi with my girlfriend. The chef was a bit lackluster compared to other hibachi I've had. However, the food was still good, it was a little loud but this is expected with hibachi. The waitress saved the experience, Ashley was amazing. She made sure that we were taken care of but wasn't overpowering. I would come back again if it meant I could sit in her section. Overall great experience read more

Kevin was a terrific server. He made a benihana's 24th year anniversary experience very satisfying. Very helpful. Very polite. Very kind. Very outgoing. Went beyond the call of duty. If I could give him 10 stars I would. He was a fantastic young man read more

We had the best experience at Benihana Stuart tonight!! Great cocktails, sushi, and habachi in the downstairs dining room. Our server, Tara, was UH-NAZE-ING!!! Super attentive, on point with apps and food, and awesome with the most challenging at the table...our 9 year old over tired daughter. Thank you Tara!!! read more

Wow...wow...wow... for the last 40+ years Benihana was the place to go for a special and good meal.... well, that day has past us by. The food, the service, the show and the prices are all terrible... horrible. Albeit the location and view is still great. But do yourself a favor and find a different place to celebrate. When we had to tell our chef how to make the fried rice, we knew we were in trouble! read more

Amari was an amazing chef. Super personable and including while also being entertaining.

Went there for husband and sons birthday. Our chef did a few things but lacked enthusiasm which is why we chose Benihanas to begin with. Food was good although my SIL's chicken was overcooked and dry. It will probably be a one time thing. They should highlight the main entrance better. It was dark by the time we got there and difficult to see entrance. read more

The food was great but the service was even better! Thank you for making our night Kristin!!

I had such a wonderful experience at Benihana. We didn't make reservations and it only took 15 mins to be sat. We enjoyed the little private beach area while we waited. The food was delicious as expected and service was great! read more

Great experience! I hadn't been in years because they got rid of the mustard sauce, but I recently heard that they'll give it to you if you ask for it! Since then I've had some amazing dinners there and everything is always fresh and quality. Please don't discontinue the mustard sauce! You'll have loyal customers for life. read more

We have our staff appreciation lunches here and it is consistently amazing. Always excellent food and amazing service. We know what to expect every time and they exceed our expectations in both quality food and friendly professional service. read more

My buddy had his birthday here the the other day. Food was alright. Our server Dani was the highlight of our experience though! Great attitude, super friendly and made sure we were taken care of the entire time! She gets five stars. The four stars is for the food and the price. read more

Felix is an excellent chef and Hunter is an excellent server. The food was delicious! We would definitely recommend them.

So I recently placed a togo order and it was horrible! When I went in my food was ready how ever the hosts were talking bad about another customer who just left. Very unprofessional! Then I went to check my $60 order and they completely left off two items off of my order. I am completely understanding that mistakes are made and they were very accommodating and made it right. Once we got home my medium steak was like hard rocks, the veggies were all onions and a few zucchini and the rice was terrible. This left us hungry and out $60. Not impressed. read more

When i got to Benihana for my birthday the place looked great, besides the air conditioning tubes, the place looked very modern. When we sat we were immediately waited which was great, then the drinks came, i got a mango lemonade and it was delish. Then the person who did all of the cooking came and it was a blast. We got egg fried rice which was delicious and noodles which were even better, then the meats came, i got steak which was so good, then they gave me icecream so overall 10/10 would recommend. read more

The outside was pretty. I've never been to a hibachi restaurant that the cook never put soy sauce on anything. Wes from Ohio was very overwhelmed with 8 people You have to pay to add rice to your order. Idk who thought this restaurant was good clearly has never left Stuart Florida. The places that serve you food in a styrofoam were way better and cost less IF YOU READ THIS FAR DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. and this is coming from a country white girl This place is not nowhere good enough for the outrageous price they charge read more

I am on the hunt for good sushi in Stuart. Benihana is a little bit of a drive but it has beautiful views and is worth it. My date and I ate in the packed lounge. It was a little cramped but it was clean and sleek looking. It is a bit of a hike to the bathroom from the lounge but views on the way to the bathroom were amazing and made it worth my time. As for the service I was getting a little worried since it took them forever to come over and then get us menus but once Tyrell asked us what we wanted he shifted into gear and was awesome. Tyrell our waiter kept the drinks coming, remembered and got everything we requested in a timely matter. I was even impressed by his honestly. He told me they ran out of clean glasses and he would have my drink to me in a second. And he DID have it to me in a second. Right on Tyrell!! We ordered the White Peach Sake Sangria and we LOVED them. We had Beef Sashimi, Sashimi Ceviche, Las Vegas roll, Rainbow roll, Chili Shrimp roll and the Shrimp crunchy roll. Ok WOW that was a lot of food for two people but the rolls were a little small and we were very hungry. Cost was under $60 for everything, seems cheap to me. Just an FYI the Chili Shrimp roll is spicy! A long lasting spicy. We really enjoyed the food and I will be coming back. I hope we get Tyrell as our waiter next time. I added some photos don't forget to check them out. Pictures are of a half eaten Chili Shrimp roll, the White Peach Sake Sangria and the beautiful sun setting out back. read more

The server Gabriell, is very rude. Slammed my soup and salad down. Was rude about taking my order and when I requested things. The food was great and the cook was very sweet. But Gabriell was rude and nasty. Unnecessary attitude. She heard me ask for double fried rice and double checked with me about it when she was taking my order, but when the cook came and called out my order there was only one fried rice and she said that she "didn't hear me". read more

This was our first time at a Benihana's...took advantage of the B'day coupon and gave it a whirl. The positives: my steak was super tender and delicious. we had some nice tablemates (a family of 5) who go frequently and helped to steer us in the right direction. hubby loved the fried rice and it was interesting to watch it being prepared. watching the "show" of having our food prepared with fun...but I can see it being just fun one time. hot green tea was delish. I know others dislike that the chefs are not Japanese but this is Florida...having Carlos as our chef was humorous!!! C'mon. :) great service. The negatives: onion soup...just a thin broth with very little taste. tablemates love it so this must be a taste thing. very expensive. salad that came with meal was pretty plain. All in all we had a good time but I really do feel like for us, this is a been there done that kind of place. read more

Always been good. Every time is an experience. We had 10 in our party for granddaughters 16th birthday dinner. Service was great and so was the food. Everything from the kitchen was cooked right, and The chef did a great job with the grill. Never had to look around for wait staff, if you needed anything, all you had to do was look their way! I love it when they come to me instead of running the other way when we make eye contact. Thanks for an enjoyable time. read more

I agree that even for Benihana, the food was not as good as other locations, but you can't argue with the view, or the atmosphere! Every table offers a fabulous view of the Intracoastal waterway, and the decor is much more pronounced that most other Benihanas. I would come to this location as a kid with my parents while on vacation, and brought my son and he was not disappointed! It does need some cosmetic fixes on the outside, but the overall ambiance is still fabulous. The food - well, it's Benihana - what more do you want? I have had better, even at other locations, but I will still make the pilgrimage to the Stuart location because it is an experience you won't want to miss. read more

Called in food and paid 100$. Didn't receive 2 items so we called and told management and then Lisa tried to tell us that we actually did receive the food. Trust me it's no convince to drive back 15 minutes a 2nd time after waiting 45 minutes to pick up food that should've been handed to you from checkout. Very disappointed with overall service and management. Definitely not appropriate of management to try to tell us that we did receive the food. read more

christina was the best waitress ever! a great birthday dinner! felix was a great chef too! thanks!!

I attempted to order dinner from this restaurant tonight using DoorDash. I placed the order at 6:50 PM and finally canceled it at 8:45. Every time I would check the app the time would go down some and then it would be pushed back to another 60, 70, 80 minutes for delivery. I will never utilize this restaurant again because of the fact that they accepted the order as soon as I put it through and then kept pushing it back further and further and further. If they don't want to cook for people during all of this then they need to close their doors. read more

Very unimpressed by every aspect of this experience. To start, we had a reservation at 7:15 and got there early and never got seated till 7:45... what's the point of a reservation? When we got to the table we were seated as full as full can get with every seat In the whole section we were in seated full. Personally, are table had 8 people: 6 from one party, two from ours no distance between anyone. Not quite what the guidelines said on the main page. The waitress and manager were un-accommodating to take my birthday certificate. Instead we were treated by bad service and sub par food. For the price we paid and the quality and service we got a return trip is not looking good. On the other hand the only reason this place got any stars is because of Joseph. Great chef and great guy, only thing making are experience half bearable. read more

Went to Benihana New Year's Eve 8:30 reservation. We were sat at the table ordered drinks and some sashimi the order came with no soy sauce we asked the waitress for soy sauce instead of getting it so we could eat our appetizer she proceeded to take dinner orders from the entire table first.. The hibachi chef came out started to cook our meals the performance was terrible & very quick and unentertaining. The food flavor was very disappointing not what it used to be and I have been a customer at this location for 30 years. The portions were probably 50% of what they use to be at a higher price with lower quality on a normal visit you would have plenty for lunch the next day.. As the chef was cleaning the grill the burnt pieces were flying in my food and the dipping dressings. Told the manager after he came to the table the food & service is definitely not what it used to be. I will not be returning as a Customer I will go to my local hibachi, which is much better than Benihana's. read more

We always go to Benihana for our birthdays and wedding anniversary, we went last Wednesday......first, there is a pandemic and we were too close to people ( we are vaccinated...but still ), second, i had order white rice, i never got it and third, there was so much butter on my lobster that i could not taste it ....so sorry, it was our last time !!! read more

Delicious food cooked perfectly and friendly staff. Pricey but great for a special occasion.

Pros: Takes reservations. Decent views. Very good food. Plenty of food. Friendly staff. Cons: asked if we wanted chicken fried rice. We said yes. Then got a bill for $4 for each small portion of said fried rice. No where on the menu or the way we were asked gave us any kind of indication of a charge for this deception. It is in dire need of remodeling. I wouldn't be surprised that the rug is 30 years old. Parts of the restaurant have a funk bad smell to it read more

Went to Benihanas tonight upon recommendation. I was slightly disappointed in the entertainment portion of my evening. Sushi and hibachi were good and came out in a timely manner. Dinner overall was definitely overpriced. Publix has good sushi for much cheaper. The soup was subpar, my mother's Mexican caldo con pollo slaughters the soup brought to me. Decent portion size. Can't say my experience was as great as expected. The chef and servers are hardworking, excellent at service and are friendly. Price is only thing keeping me away from this joint. 3.5/5 Stars read more

Came here for a family dinner to celebrate having been married to my ladyfriend for at least a year. Since my immediate family is randomly dispersed around the sunshine state, we decided on an equidistant eatery, Bennyhannas in Stuart (like the mouse). I arrived punctually with my ladyfriend and we stood out front to wait for the rest of the clan. There was a crude Oriental man out front who kept sneezing loudly and yelling at his baby. At some point a car drove by and thought we were the valet parking service. Lazy Americans, always looking for an easy way in. The rest of my family soon arrived and we entered Bennyhannas. Lucky for us, we booked reservations the same night as a high school prom pre-party, so the place was crawling with disgusting little teenagers. The servant at the front desk assured us that we would be seated shortly. This was my ladyfriend's first time at Bennyhanna's and I could tell she was anxious to have a seat, so I stood around waiting impatiently until we were seated. They ended up seating us with two of the disgusting prom teenagers. Must have been a real letdown for them as well, having to sit at a table with some weird old family instead of their shit-brained millennial classmates. The servant they sent over to take our drink and food orders was quite the chatty Cathy. Let's call her Cathy. Cathy insisted on making small talk with my sister's manfriend and letting us know which menu items she liked best. NOBODY CARES, PLEASE BRING THE COOK OVER ALREADY. I ordered the surf n' turf to share with my ladyfriend. Cathy sold everyone on the fried rice except for me, I'm more of white rice guy if u know what I mean;) I made a joke about my sister being pregnant after she ordered a non-alcoholic beverage. The cook finally arrived, and introduced himself as Felix (like the cat). He looked to be some kind of Mexican instead of the elderly Oriental samurai I had expected. The best part about having the cook at the table is you get to avoid boring conversation with your family. Felix heated up the table sized-grill and got to cookin! He squirted a trail of eggs on the grill in the shape of a chicken, then proceeded to scramble them live in front of us. Some type of existentialist party trick resulting in a delicious batch of fried rice. Felix then took us through a montage of the Bennyhannas signature moves, including the onion volcano and hide-the-shrimp-in-your-hat trick. A true artist at work. I was so engaged with the live artistry that for a split second, I forgot that the disgusting teenagers were seated right next to me gazing vapidly into their precious cell phones. Felix cooked up all of our feed in a flash, and before we knew it , it was about time for dessert and a BM. Cathy came back to take our dessert orders. Ice creams all around. I was the only one at the table to order vanilla. I'm more of a vanilla ice cream guy if u know what I mean;) My dad then found it mandatory to gather us around the table for a cell phone photograph. We didn't want to ask Felix to take it since he had already executed his culinary mastery and was probably exhausted. Plus, would you ever ask a photographer to cook you a meal? PROS: The food was pretty good. They have an elevator for wheelchairs CONS: The disgusting teenagers read more

This was one of the worst dinners we have had. It was tasteless and bland. We were seated at a table meant for 7 and 9 people were crowded in. We could hardly rise our arms. Nothing was good. My chicken was tough and hard to chew. $80 for terrible food. My friend shrimp and scallops were just ok. Rice was so bland I ask for soy sauce just so I could eat it. read more

Ariel the chef made the experience wonderful. I love this location, as it has the best inter coastal views.

I went to Benihana yesterday for my birthday. I made a reservation last week. They failed to make a reservation. I rescheduled the reservation. I was on time and still had to wait to be seated, which didn't happen anyway. They wanted to shoehorn me in a table with strangers which I do not do. The place is filthy. It looks unclean. Staff uniforms are shabby. That place has the same carpet that is worn out that was there since 2006 when I first went to that location. The entire experienced was unpleasant. The front desk girl was on the phone when I arrived and was clearly agitated talking with a customer. It was obvious she did not want to be there. I will never again step foot in a Benihana and I have gone there for many years. Their food is expensive. For the kind of money they want, there are better places with a better experience to visit. read more
