    Bloody mary

I had a $12 voucher from Alaskan Airlines f-up IT issues and this was the only place I could find that took the voucher. Obviously, that voucher wasn't going to buy me a full meal, not even a cheeseburger w/fries. WTH! With my nightmare travel plans to get home and 5 hours to kill, I came in here for lunch bite and much needed cocktails!!! :( Cheeseburger and fries - the burger patty was a frozen patty, nothing much to brag about on the beef. Standard burger with fries that cost me $18. So expensive! 2 STARS :) Bloody Mary in the afternoon - spicy tomato with loaded vodka. Me likee likee. But I was getting a headache b/c I haven't had any caffeine for the day. 4 STARS :) Deja Brew - much needed caffeine to get me through the day and keep me relaxed. Tasted perfect, it didn't look as pretty as the advertisement. 4 STARS Service was just OK, not the best. I had to scream a little louder to get the attention of my server and requested water, napkins and mayo a few times. It was very expensive to dine here. But I did chill out here for many hours before my flight. So, I appreciated them for not kicking me out sooner. However, I also spent $60+tip for 2 drinks and cheeseburger/fries. Sigh...

Burger and "breakfast potatoes" aka tater tots

A burger and tater tot's. The menu said burger and breakfast potatoes. I wasn't expecting tater tots and the high school patty. It was early in the morning and I didn't want Dunkin'. Never again

Italian beef. Fluffed up to make it look still wildly under filled. Don't order this sandwich.

Even for an airport, this was pathetic. The server said that the Italian beef was her favorite. At $17 I expect a decent sandwich. It was filled with 1/4 of a Portillos and way more expensive. The gardinera was spicy and was almost 1:1 for the beef. The thimble of stock to dip it in was at least tasty and warm But I ripped off half the bun and made a mediocre half sandwich with the contents. Chili was flavorless. Got a plain soda water and charged $5 for it. Then took me until well after my meal was finished to get my requested refill. This will not be a repeat. Got 2 stars because the gard was at least good

This is a newer full-service restaurant in CVG airport, it's in the B Terminal, just at the top of the escalators as you enter the terminal. Since it was just me, I sat at the bar and they were moderately busy at 11AM for lunch time. They have a full menu loaded with burgers, sandwiches, salads, entrées, etc. My server/bartender was helpful and friendly. I tried their beer brat which came with fries and I asked for a small side of chili to dip the fries into. The brat was tasty, the beer cheese on it was excellent. The bun is a pretzel bun and I liked that too. The toppings, etc were very nice and overall, the flavors were good. Fries were pretty good and so was the chili. Overall - I'd return!

Went across the hall to the other place and their menu was worse and the service there was NOT friendly, so I went back to Braxtons. I sat at the bar next to some randoms, who were very nice and we chatted for a few hours while we all waited for the same delayed flight. The bartenders were awesome. They were helpful and funny. This is a family owned place, so while the place across closed promptly at 8, this place allowed us to sit outside the restaurant after 8 and still get served! I had one of their beers- a local sour, cherry, very good. I also had their veggie bowl with beef on it. It was delicious. Then I had a fantastic Bloody Mary. They served it to me with a lime and a big olive, and I got it spicy. My neighbor had a super strong margarita. She also has the chips and salsa which she said the salsa was super hot. I did not verify. The kitchen closes early, which is a shame. But the bar and the shenanigans are open longer. They even gave us plastic cups with lids so we could take our drinks to our gate if we had to leave before finishing them. Great service. Great food. Great drinks. Family owned. No airport rules. Gotta love that.

You'll find this Braxton's in terminal A around gates A15 & A14. Flat screen T.V.s dot the walls playing the days various sporting events. The server was attentive and quick to bring my Braxton Garage Beer, light lager - very cold and hit the spot. I opted for the Whiskey Row taco, $6, in a flour tortilla, stout braised pork belly, cheese blend, bourbon glaze and a garnish of chopped cilantro. I really enjoyed the tender pork belly, but the bourbon glaze was too sweet for my taste. The cilantro looked as if it had been sitting out since opening and looked tired and a bit dried out. I'd certainly stop at this watering hole if passing through this airport again!

The atmosphere is exactly what you'd want from a neighborhood taproom: casual, lively, and family-friendly. The bar is huge, with an impressive selection of draft beers (especially if you're an IPA fan), and they also have bourbon bottles available for purchase. We ordered burgers, and they were all really good. One bun seemed a little stale, but it didn't take away from the overall meal. The cheese curds were a standout: piping hot, crispy, and definitely worth ordering. The beef nachos, on the other hand, were a bit disappointing. They arrived cold and just didn't have the same wow factor as the rest of the food. My sweet potato fries were a little soggy, but I took the leftovers home and popped them in the air fryer the next day, and they turned out fantastic. Overall, I'd definitely go back. If you're looking for a laid-back spot with great burgers, a huge beer selection, and a menu that has something for just about everyone in the family, dog and kid friendly, 859 Taproom is a solid choice.

Waiting out my two hour delay at CVG airport, thought I'd grab a bite before boarding my next flight. This restaurant was the closest to my gate so what the heck. A nice airport bar with some tables and booths perfect for waiting for your flight. Tried ordering a flat bread pizza but was told they're out of pizzas. Also tried to order the Nashville chicken tenders but no luck there either. I settled on the crispy chicken salad. After a 30 minute wait, I finally got it. My expectations weren't very high noticing all of the disappointed faces that were waiting for their food. However, I was pleasantly surprised as this salad was delicious! Not because I was starving, but it actually was fresh, crisp and tasted good! If they can find a way to up their service game, as good as the salad was, it would be much better!

The price included chips but for an up charge you could get fries...ohhh so society has sunken to the level where now the Local has to charge an up charge for fries???? I don't particularly care for normal fries, but thought it was ridiculous. I told them I didn't want the chips but the waitress told me they would put them on the plate anyways, so they really aren't trying to save costs. Mid-week, during mid afternoon/evening (4pm) for a restaurant with well over twenty tables and how many servers/hosts are working? One lady doing both! So forget the fries/chips nonsense, at least I will get some delicious strips of bacon on top of a chicken sandwich, right??? WRONG!!! A dry chicken breast with bacon crumples....which I'm SURE (font=sarcasm) wasn't just leftover crumbs from breakfast. So I haven't eaten at McDonalds in over a decade but I remember they had a chicken sandwich with bacon on it. It was a decade ago but I remember it was I think $3. THAT chicken and bacon sandwich was slightly better than this one. So if you want to pay $17 for a McDonalds chicken bacon sandwich san the bacon and add old bacon crumbs, this is the place for you.
