This week they trashed all that goodwill, and I'm genuinely shocked. I called Thursday morning about a stopped-up kitchen drain. The very polite, British-sounding man who took my information (possibly an outside phone message service) said he would pass it along and asked me to text a photo of the problem, which I immediately did. Then... silence. Usually they're pretty fast about getting back to me, even if it's to say they won't be able to come out for a day or two. So on Friday morning I called again. The same polite gentleman again promised to relay the message, and to tell them this was my second call. Then... more silence. In desperation, that afternoon I went onto their website and used the chat feature. Here, someone did respond, telling me that they had no plumbers at present and were trying to hire someone, but for now "we're at a standstill." I apparently would never have known this without using the online chat. So far as I can tell, I would have been left dangling indefinitely. When I asked why they couldn't have their phone answerer tell people they are temporarily not booking jobs due to staffing issues, the person chatting -- definitely a live person, not a bot -- had no answer other than an apology and a "mahalo for your past business." Come on folks, this is ridiculous. It ALWAYS works better to tell people the truth. I may try them again sometime, but not for a while.

This is a WAY overdue review. These guys are AWESOME. I had a sewer pump station die after 20…read moreyears. This was a few days before I had a whole house full of guests. I call Daryl and Sean. They came immediately and realized that both the pump and the backup pump had failed due to a rope degrading and getting caught in the pump motor. When they built the house, they didn't install grinder pumps. The most heavy duty grinder pumps are Liberty Pumps. I was going to have them sent in by FedEx overnight, but Sewer Solutions had them brand new from another job that were provided to them for a large commercial job that really needed even bigger grinder pumps. They sold me two, 1-hp Liberty Grinder Pumps at their cost plus shipping. Instead of waiting even 2 days to bring them in by FedEx (these are about 40 lbs each), they brought them over the next day with a standby electrician to wire everything to code. If I could give these guys 10 stars, I would. Fast, honest, hard-working and fair. THE BEST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD WITH A REPAIR OF THIS MAGNITUDE -- HANDS DOWN!

Steve's plumbing installed a central AC in my house in Dec 2023. The AC worked OK for the first…read more1.5 years, then it starts shutting down every a few weeks now it became every 2- 3 days. Steve's plumbing refused to send the technician there to fix the issues. Even I called it for emergency service, even when they scheduled the appointment and they cancel it when on the day of the appointment. They always have excuse not to show up, even they showed up, they only clean up the unit but did not actually fix anything. I had to hire a difference technician to restart the AC every time then it shut down. Another technician did restart the AC for at least 15 times and told me the compressor needs to be replaced it is not working. Steve's plumbing confirmed the AC is still under warranty, but refused to file the claim for the compressor. Due to the lack of professional response from Steve's plumbing, I loss over $50,000 from my business, my guests left me the bad reviews, and affected my future business, DON'T USE Steve's for you AC service or install any AC. They are unprofessional and they don't care about your business. I will file the legal case agains Steve's and report them to Hawaii Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs Regulated Industries Complaints Office
