We needed new locks at our business and Brian (owner) came out. He ran behind on previous job, but called and said he'd be a little late. He arrived with everything necessary for the job and took care of both locks in a reasonable amount of time. He charged a fair fee. Later I noticed an issue with a door and he willingly came out a few hours later and fixed it no charge even though it wasn't anything he probably caused. Nice guy and knows locks. Thanks Brian! I wish I could give Bend Lock and Safe 10 stars! My husband and I lost the keys to our travel trailer, which means we lost six keys that function for the trailer. The gentleman who helped us was kind, curtous and had an amazing work ethic. While I was waiting for our keys and locks to be finished, another gentleman was helping another customer. He was also extremely helpful to his customer. I highly recommend Bend Lock and Safe for any lock or key needs. read more

Great company with awsome service. I have had these guys make custom keys for me and unlock safes for me and have even purchased safes from them. Always very helpful and pleasant to work with. read more

Just the greatest people. So understanding, so kind, and so helpful. They helped my boyfriend and I get a new key for our car while we were visiting from Portland because we lost the only one we had in the river. Paul is the best, he was so nice and knew what he was doing. Such a sweet little family business, with such understanding and amazing guys. Now we know where to go/who to recommend if we run into some trouble. Best guys in the business! read more

Great Service! Paul was on time, thorough, knowledgeable, and friendly. He went back to the shop to find a little piece and machine some other parts....fast and reasonably priced. Thanks! read more

Bend Lock & Safe is a family-owned business with a stellar reputation in Bend. They are very helpful when you visit their shop and and very professional if they come to your house for changing locks. Their keys always work. I wouldn't call anyone else for lock and key needs. read more

Great job for installing our new safe at Subway. Our technician was so friendly and helpful.

If you need a good safe whether it's for personal items, or guns, Bend lock and safe has a very good mix at all price ranges and quality levels. I was able to find a used safe for half of the price that they go for new, and it's a top-of-the-line American security safe. They also move safes which is a very nice thing to have around town. I had a very large safe moved from one side of town to the other for about $275, which was well worth it considering it would've taken five people and a truck and trailer to do. read more

This is my first experience with Bend Lock and Safe. I had a unique issue with some Sprinter van keys to sort out before paying the big buck at Mercedes Benz for a new set. They were able to help with an interim solution that worked just fine. Because of the unique situation, only one guy there new what to do, so levels of experience and expertise vary, but in the end they were all helpful and took all the time needed to explain things. read more

We called Bend Lock and Safe after the key to our cartop cargo box broke off on the first day of a camping trip to central oregon over memorial day. The guy told us to head to the store at 9am (I called at 8am) , but when we got there, they were closed for the weekend. I called to see what was up and the guy who was on call as the mobile locksmith for the holiday weekend came by, fished out the broken key, put it back together and cut two copies that both worked better than the original. I was sure I was going to get gouged for over a hundred bucks but when he rang it up, the total came to $25!!! I was astounded! When I stated my surprise at the cost, the guy just said "yeah, customer service is kinda our thing". No kidding. Top notch establishment. Definitely call these folks first! A+ read more

Lost the key to my sentry safe so I decided to bring it here. They were able to open it and make a key for a VERY reasonable price! They were super fast and friendly, highly recommended this place! read more

Went in to have them come to our house to fix a trailer door lock that had completely slid out of the hole. Rather then charging the $50.00 mobile fee for a few minute fix the guy told my how to fix it myself! How refreshing! Went home and had it fixed in no time. Helpful and knowledgable staff with great customer service. Will definitely be taking all my business there in the future. Thank you! read more

Great service, knowledgeable , and helped me save a lot on a micro chipped car key and programming!

Employees are not very pleasant, and don't actually listen to you. Have dealt with them several times now and have been unhappy all of the times. Overpriced and take too long. I will definitely not be going to them in the future. read more

These guys know their stuff. I've had a few keys made by them and never had one that didn't work perfectly. Fair prices for excellent work. I knocked one star off because they do seem to rather talk with their buddies hanging out in the store more than helping a customer who walks in. read more

For an emergency call, Paul came out after hours and did a terrific job. He not only attended to the work I asked for, but made adjustments to locks and deadbolts that greatly improved their function. He was courteous and professional, providing great service and sound advice. I highly recommend Bend Lock & Safe! read more

Thank you Joe for your help. My safe lock would not work properly but Joe helped me on the phone. I thought I was going to spend a lot of money to replace the safe, but with Joe's help, I only had to replace the batteries. He had me send him photos, he called me back, and walked me through the process. read more

Bend Lock and Safe has provided us a variety of services for over 5 years. They have an excellent array of security safes, some of which are used and offered at very favorable pricing. A distinguishing feature is their competence to help you select an appropriate level of security and then properly install your choice. Moving a safe is an art form all its own. We also find the array of padlocks and various security devices very helpful. Periodically we have used services such as rekeying and selection of additional locking hardware for our home. Good installs. competent. We are very appreciative of the support offered through Bend Lock and Safe! read more

I accidentally locked my 3 year old in my car a few days ago and Bend Lock and Safe sent someone out within 15 minutes to get her out! On top of that they said there isn't a charge when it involves a child being locked in a car!! I will definitely be using them again. Amazing! read more

Friendly and knowledgeable. Gave me options that would best benefit me as opposed to over charging.

Due to the unfortunate fact that a ring of keys were stolen from my husband's truck last night, we bought 3 new locking doorknobs/levers from knowledgeable, experienced, and patient Paul today. I never realized there so many choices to consider, but Paul guided us through the process and gave us some hints on installation since we wanted to do that ourselves. We also had 10 house keys made, and received valuable guidance from Paul about Yakima locks (since ours was locked and we no longer had the key). The prices were very reasonable, and we believe we got the best product that will ensure our safety thanks to Paul and Bend Lock and Safe. Thank you so much! read more

Bought a safe from this company in 2014. They installed and secured it. Could not ask for better service. We came home from a trip earlier in the week and the safe we had from another source was inoperable. Battery had died and the code was wiped out, could not open the safe even with a new battery. And--in our stupidity had put the override key(s) in the safe with ALL of our car and truck keys. Called Bend Lock and Safe. They actually put us on the schedule for that day to open it up. First tech couldn't get it to work so called for the "expert" lock picker. Paul could not get here until after hours and spent a couple hours trying to pick the lock to save the safe and still get it opened. We needed the keys and checkbooks. Told him just get it opened. Paul drilled it using drills and hole saws. Finally opened. Now he presented us with the bill. We expected through the roof amount. He told us since the first guy was there during normal hours it would be considered a normal call. What service and genuine honesty. Can't ask for a better company to do business with. read more

The guys here are super friendly and know what they're doing. They cut and programmed my car key in less than 15 minutes and charged way less than the dealer. read more

I gave them 5 stars but that is really inadequate. Should be 5++++. Ryan did a terrific job fixing the door with issues, then adjusted two other doors. They all work better than they ever did. read more

We recently purchased a new gun safe here, and not only were the prices great, the service was really excellent. They know the products very well, and Jim, a fellow enthusiast, has continued to provide support and tips tp optimize it for our purposes. We will definitely shop there again! Oh, and by gthe way, do not confuse them with the other guys who have a similar name, these guys are the real deal, BEND LOCK & SAFE. I called the other guys by accident, WHAT A MISTAKE!!!! I guess that happens a lot. read more

Very disappointing experience. We lost our truck key in the Mt. Bachelor Powder while snowboarding and needed a new truck key made. They quoted $150.00 on the phone after hearing what our vin, make, model, year was. When the technician came to our house he then quoted us $435.00!! We said NO! We went with a different company that came out from La Pine and did the job for $95.00. Bend lock and key then called hours later to try to renegotiate for $390.00. Crazy how the prices from two different companies was vastly different. Very disappointed by this price gouging. read more
