Wow! I recently tried this place for the first time and had their spicy jalapeño burger and french fries. I was blown away with how much flavor was here, although everything was definitely on the over-salty side, and a bit of salty/savory sensory overload. What are you guys putting in this stuff?? The burger and fries were extremely fresh and made of high-quality ingredients. I'll try with the tots next time (and I'll ask for no salt). This has always been our favorite burger in Bend, but 1st they cut items off their menu which was not that big to begin with, so the choices are now limited, then they raised their prices by a lot! Last night we paid $36 plus tip on top of that for 2 burgers and fries that we picked up and took home. $18 for a cheeseburger is just too much. It's a good burger, but I can go to many nicer sit-downs in Bend and get a dinner for that price. Lastly, when we got our order last night, the fries were new. They used to be fresher and smaller, but a large portion. The portion seemed the same, but the fries were larger in size, very dry, and different; not near as good as they have always been. All of these things have caused me to seriously reconsider Bend Burger as my spot. I'm sad to say it...but you can't cut on menu items, quality and raise prices at the same time around here or expect people will choose to eat elsewhere. read more

My husband and I are both really big fans of BBC. We visit every couple of months and have never had a bad meal. They make an exceptional burger - very large and filling, my favorite is the Mirror Pond - but some of the things that really stand out for us are the fries (house made and always awesome) and their special house sauce. I really want to like this place. The staff is friendly and accommodating, it's brand new so the tables, chairs and floors aren't permanently greasy like their downtown location, and it's nice and roomy. It needs a little more personality, though. Something to make it unique and memorable. I usually get a Mirror Pond Burger, which is mushrooms, swiss cheese and onions. I like the flavor combination and they always do a good job sautéing the mushrooms. The onions are a little crazy though; a little too many, overflowing, and they're red onions. The bun is nice, but always soaks up a layer of grease which you can see while you're eating. I wish they would toast the buns so it would hold up a little better. They always include fries with your burger, but I think how they're done - totally depends whose cooking them. They are not consistent. Sometimes they're crispy and sometimes they're soggy, and sometimes they're salty. They have a lot of burger options, sandwich options, and now, mini burger options, which don't have all the fancy fixings but are a good deal around $6 because they include fries, too. We like the burgers here, but never enough to finish them. It's sort of "meh" on all three counts - atmosphere, burgers, fries...satisfactory but won't blow you out of the water. read more

This was one of the best burger! There's many choices of burgers and sandwiches. The beef patties are fresh and handmade. Buns are also fresh made and delicious! Garlic fries weren't quite as good. I mean, I was really hungry after spending my time camping in Oregon so I was happy to eat anything! Luckily, this place showed up on the map and had some pretty good options for things to eat. We ended up coming to bend burger company which had just the value for the price. Inside it is a pretty homey place and definitely the kind of place you would go for an after-school or after-adventure trip if you grew up around here, it was not too extravagant in its design or overpromising in its quality of a burger. I had a delicious time eating the default burger and felt I was being given a good meal for the price, the only reason I give it a 4 out of 5 stars was because I was not too impressed with their fries and sauces, they left more to be desired. read more

The Green Bean Bowl at the Bend Burger Company is out of this world. Pick your burger and instead of being served on a bun, it's served atop a bed of fresh, bacon-y green beans. Highly recommended. I didn't give 5 stars because our wait for our order (three people) was exceptionally long. They have several signs up: "warning. This is not fast food." We've been wanting to try this place for a while since we heard good reviews. Finally we tried it today. The BEST GARDEN BURGER I've ever had!! The burger itself was really yummy and cooked perfectly with crispy edges. What makes it even better is all the other stuff on top! Grilled peppers, mushrooms and onions along with pickled peppers!! Visiting family in Bend and wanted a fast lunch that I can't get in L.A. We thought Bend Burger Co. was great. We called ahead and I went and picked it up. They have a converted drive thru window just for takeout pickup. That was unexpected and awesome! We ordered two burgers, a chicken sandwich, fries, rings and sweet potato tots. The only thing that was just OK were the fries. The onion rings were awesome. Crispy but not burnt. The onion was soft enough to bite through. I was in town for work,and wanted something different besides the usual clown burgers, found Bend Burgers and it was down the street from where I was staying. I drove right past the place the first time,but called and found it easy enough. First thing I noticed was the restaurant was nice simple and clean. On to the menu, they had about 8-10 different types of sandwiches mostly hamburgers, and I decided on the Bend Burger. Why not , it was their main star,so I thought I'd give it a try. I also tried the garlic fries, and like some other posters have stated, too much garlic/ oil ,kinda made them a soggy mess ( big disappointment) the burger was really good, did not see/taste the bend sauce on it that was mentioned on the menu. That was why I ordered it in the first place. Last time I came to town,I did work for the couple that make that sauce,and I was looking forward to having it drip out of my sandwich, but it didn't. It was still really tasty. The two ladies at the counter were nice,well the younger girl was ... but couldn't be bothered later for some silverware, I found it myself. What bothered me was the price, with the tip it was $29.00!!! For a single burger, soggy fries, and a fountain drink. No bend sauce, bummer!!! That is 3x a double meal at any of the big three. Granted, this is a nicer original place but I'll probably bypass this restaurant next time I'm in town.
