Then we had Drew stop by and he was able to provide some options for replacement and did so a very thoughtful and professional manner. No pressure!! Thanks guys and thank you Mountain Air!

I had called these guys to my home in Harrisville about a month ago on an emergency. They came in a flash to our rescue and signed us up for a maintenance plan. Brycen was great and made what I thought was going to be a home re-finance job into something we were able to handle. So today, Tony came by for an inspection and made sure my sister's HVAC system was running as it should. I had her sign up for the same plan as ours. Tony was also very friendly and reassuring. Being senior citizens, sometimes we are not treated well - but these guys? They made us feel special and that's a big deal to us. Tony was not rushed and explained everything to us. I have dealt with one of the "BIG GUYS HVAC" companies in the past, and was very disenchanted with the whole scare tactics they employed. Tony, like Brycen, made this such a pleasant experience and I hope the company owner is proud of the team he has working for him. I highly recommend this company, they are the best.

Mustache guy is my hero! We decided to get a new HVAC…read morecompany & it was the BEST DECISION EVER! I was fed up with the company recommended by our home insurance carrier after three winters of our furnace out more than it was working, while being nickel&dimed to death, being stood up, shamed, and literally shouted at by that company... so I got a second opinion and was horrified to learn our furnace had a crack in the heat exchanger and for our safety the gas had to be shut off. The original company said they'd be back in *three weeks* to give us a quote. With freezing weather approaching, and me with a serious heart condition I was DONE! I reached out to Absolute Comfort and got a response immediately. When Carrie learned our circumstances, she offered to have someone come out that very night. I deeply appreciate her compassionate understanding. Kristopher came and evaluated the broken furnace, took measurements and assessed the situation, explained the options and made recommendations for getting the best airflow and performance for both heating and cooling in our home. It showed that he really had listened to our family's needs and concerns. We deeply appreciate Kristopher's integrity and honesty. Grateful for his knowledge, experience and genuine passion for the hvac technology. What really mattered to us the most was reliable service we can trust & quality equipment with a good warranty. It's a relief to know that Amana has a lifetime warranty. The service plan really made me happy and gave my husband peace of mind. Of all the companies we got proposals from, Absolute Comfort had the best financing, and very competitive pricing. They quickly handled the paperwork for our insurance adjuster. I was soo relieved to have someone take immediate action. Then, when an earlier install date opened up, Kristopher reached out and got us scheduled earlier. WOW! Thank you! Jon, Brycen and Rich came today and did the install for the new Furnace and AC. It was such a great experience! They each seemed to really care about the quality of their work, and showed our home care and respect. They kept us apprised of the progress throughout the day. Loved seeing how well they worked as a team. Once everything was installed, Jon showed us how to use the equipment and answered all of our questions. Shortly after they left we got an error message on the smart thermostat. Brycen returned straight away, and fixed it. No excuses, delays or run-around... just simply here taking care of it. Absolutely know we made the right choice. Tonight I sleep comfortably, warm and safe, knowing we have a team of professional compassionate people here for us if we need. Highly recommend.

To our recollection we have never posted a negative review, but our experience with Blue Best…read morewarrants one. We met with Blue Best late in 2024 to discuss our concern with air temps in our house, specifically temps in our living room and kitchen, which have high ceilings and southern exposure and become uncomfortably hot in summer. We were very clear about our concern, and the salesperson spent hours assessing our home and assured us his proposed system would solve the problem. We accepted the ~$14,000 bid to install a heat pump solution based on that assurance. By summer 2025, the living room and kitchen were still too hot on most sunny days. Despite many service visits and repeated adjustments (baffles, registers, fan speeds, etc.), the issue was never resolved. Blue Best ultimately stated the system was operating as designed and implied the problem was with our home, not their installation.  In our opinion, Blue Best is very good at selling a solution, but not so good at ensuring that solution meets what the customer needs. Two independent HVAC contractors opined: -Our ductwork is in good condition. -The thermostat, furnace, and compressor Blue Best installed were not properly matched. -Basic industry-standard load calculations (e.g., Manual J) were apparently not done, which would have shown the system was undersized for our home's layout, windows, and sun exposure. Blue Best has declined to remove the system or refund our payment, instead relying on fine print in the contract. We are now pursuing legal options. We have since spent ~$12,000 on a mini-split system from another contractor, which works as intended. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Blue Best and would strongly advise others to look elsewhere.

Two diagnoses by other companies could find no hole, only corrosion. * Claimed heat exchanger wasn't under warranty. It was. Confirmed with the manufacturer. * Claimed the AC compressor motor insulation resistance was testing bad indicating near end of life for the compressor. Independent tests confirmed the Any Hour technician performed the procedure incorrectly, and that the insulation resistance was in good range. Additional details: The tech claimed there was a hole in the heat exchanger (found via camera scope) which could allow carbon monoxide leakage and he was legally required to disclose this. Used language like "he didn't want to scare us, but..." Two diagnoses from other certified technicians from other companies also with camera scopes found no hole. Just some corrosion. The technician claimed the heat exchanger would not be covered under warranty if replacing. I confirmed with the manufacturer that it was. The technician claimed the AC compressor was "testing weak" evidenced by "bad" insulation resistance readings, which might indicate a soon-to-fail compressor and the need for a new AC unit (potentially another $5000+). As evidence the technician sent a video showing holding the power button for about 3 seconds, then releasing just as the resistance builds to 60 megohms, the final level in the "caution" zone. The problem is the meter's manual calls for holding the power button for a full 10 seconds as the resistance builds while voltage is applied. Independent testing with the same model of meter and held for the full 10 seconds shows the resistance building to 400 megohms, well within the "good" range. (see attached videos, one of the technician's test, another with an independent test with the same model meter). If having Any Hour Services quote you anything, I HIGHLY recommend 1-2 independent quotes from smaller HVAC shops.
