A scoop of Dubai chocolate ice cream here costs $10. The ice cream itself - a mix of chocolate and pistachio ice cream - was very good. Sweet, creamy, and you can tell it was homemade. The mix-ins - pistachios and kataifi (the little crunchy things in Dubai chocolate) - weren't bad, but in my opinion, there weren't enough mix-ins to justify the higher price. As with most places that offer Dubai chocolate things, I felt like they were kind of stingy with the kataifi. That being said, I did enjoy the ice cream and thought the staff was friendly. I probably wouldn't get the Dubai chocolate again due to the price, but I will come back to try their other flavors. A small spot with limited indoor seating.

When I first entered the shop, I was warmly greeted by a staff member, who offered me some samples before I ordered anything. Since I was visiting Cleveland in December, I decided to try some of their holiday flavors such as eggnog, caramel gingerbread, and peppermint stick. Every flavor I tried was amazing, especially their blue cosmo flavor. Blue cosmo is their trademark flavor, and I highly recommend that flavor to anyone who enjoys a lot of sweetness. I visited the shop several times during my time in Cleveland, and each visit was outstanding. No matter what flavor malt I got, each one turned out delicious. On the last visit before returning home, I decided to get a simple ice cream sundae with vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce, chocolate sauce, and whipped cream. It turned out amazing. Another thing I like is the atmosphere. You can even go up the stairs and watch workers make ice cream while you enjoy your delicious sweet treat. I highly recommend Mitchell's Homemade Ice Cream to anyone who lives in the Cleveland area or plans to visit.

Parking is a bit of a pain around here, so I'd probably stop in as a pitstop while at other nearby businesses. This place is really centrally located, so it's easy to pop in after dinner for a dessert to enjoy later. (That's what I did!)

First, I got two scoops ($6.50) of traditional ice cream - a scoop of oatmeal creme pie and a scoop of strawberries & cream. Both were excellent and creamy. The strawberry ice cream had a great natural strawberry flavor, and the oatmeal creme pie ice cream came with little bits of oatmeal creme pies. Literally a few minutes after finishing the two scoops, I decided to get some more ice cream, LOL. You can never have too much ice cream, right? I opted for the peanut butter & grape jam soft serve ($6.50). The peanut butter had a strong peanut butter flavor, and the grape jam was utterly refreshing and reminded me of grape soda (complimentary). The staff was very friendly. Plenty of outdoor seating.
