I'm a first time customer who ordered an ice cream cake for my boy's birthday. It is awesome! They were able to use any photo provided and made it into an edible image for the top of the cake with a custom message. It was well done and came out really nicely. The cake is quite large and is exactly what you'd expect from ordering with DQ. When I can, I will always choose local over commercial chains. I think it was fairly priced at $30 and also beats DQ pricing. We will be back to check out the rest of the menu this summer! read more

Good luck getting service. They have 3 windows...drive thru, inside counter and outside window. We stood at the outside window for over 10 minutes while the other two windows were take care of. When Maddie came to take our order she gave an excuse as to why we waited so long and why she took care of customers who came after us. Then she flippantly apologized and told me I should have come inside if I wanted faster service. Besides her lack of customer care the business owners themselves are to blame for the poor service. Not an adult in sight. Both workers were under 20 and it was an 80 degree sunday. Close the drive thru or outside window. Do something to ensure your customer flow is managed appropriately and have a real manager on-site. read more

I've been watching this cute new ice cream shop being built for months. It is right next to JTs Diner. Architecturally it's awesome. It's been nice watching it come to life. They did a 'soft opening' at the end of March. It's been a steady stream of people. The Eclipse day - April 8 also saw a really good amount of people enjoying the multi level outside. I stopped by a few days later when the weather was rainy and still found multiple families enjoying the indooors. The seating inside is limited. The kids working were friendly and prompt. There is plenty of space to sit outside and an upstairs patio that provides a nice view of Osborne Park. Inside, they have a wall of sweets. The menu is simplistic, but options for all. I opted to get a small cone of coconut cream flavor to go. I was surprised to find chocolate pieces in the ice cream. I've never had a coconut cream pie with chocolate. As I know a few people that are allergic to chocolate, this would be an issue. It was tasty and creamy. Note that you will pay 3.5% more if using a credit card. Bring cash if you prefer. Recently went with my family. Only two employees were working with the walk up, indoor and drive-through all open. Waited nearly 20 minutes before they took our order. Server was rude and told us that we should have gone inside if we wanted to get faster service. Asked for a manager and she said she was the manager. Furthermore, the milkshake was barely 3/4 full and poorly blended. read more

Amazing homemade ice cream so close to home-- we're so lucky to have a family owned ice cream shop open year round with seasonal flavors and treats. The "Death by Chocolate" is a personal favorite, as well as a medium cup with brownie batter and raspberry streusel. Im going to try the ice cream nachos next I look forward to more of their seasonal and rotating flavors- it's a great reason to always have a little sweet treat The shop has a drive-through, indoor and outdoor seating, a big candy selection, small treats, like pretzels and hotdogs, rooftop seating with a view, and walk up window to order. And to address all the comments about the teen employees-- they are learning but the owners run a tight ship, so a simple call to them would be so much better than complaining here. What impressed me first was the cleanliness of the grounds and outside tables. Secondly, I ordered in the shade and had my banana split in the shade. A big plus during these hot days. It's OPEN - and fantastic! I had the homemade ice cream (salted caramel pretzel) which I thought was on a par w/ Mitchelll's. No more driving over 20 miles for high quality homemade ice cream with really great ingredients! My buddy got a soft serve concrete (similar to a Blizzard) which she loved as well. The design of the place is really nice, seating inside and out - and drive through service as well. So glad it's finally open! Homemade prices are high - but that's to be expected given the cost of ingredients. A super yummy treat for sure!!! read more

JoJo's is such a great spot to grab ice cream! It's right near Osborne Park, so it's really nice to go there after a walk at the park! I had the best milkshake here! I highly recommend trying it! Anyone else I've asked who's been here also says they loved it! read more

A little gem in N Willoughby offering a variety of sweet treats. My first time here I tried a small hot fudge sundae with pecans. It was delicious and I was pleased that they did not skimp on the pecans! Since then I've tried the homemade waffle cone with chocolate peanut butter cup ice cream, which is really yummy! As this is a newly opened small local business, some patience is required as they train and work things out, but overall very good with comparable prices. I highly recommend you check it out, you won't be disappointed. read more

good choices, but disrespectful staff. never been there before, and was unaware they closed at 9 cause i was told it closed around 10 or later. so around 10 minutes after closing the staff was yelling things like "i cant wait to go home!" so i figured maybe i got the time wrong so i checked online and it said 9 so i got ready to leave. but they turned the speakers all the way up and started yelling. yes, i should've checked the time. but they could've just told me it closed instead of being rude, and there were friends of the staff there so i thought they weren't closing yet, very confusing. good icecream tho! read more
