Run Run Run. This place has good customer service but that's where it stops. i brought me vehicle in because it would not start are stay idle when i come to a complete stop. i scanned my car for codes then had it towed to Beamer plus. they gave me a free 15 minute inspection which you can't do nothing but see for 15 minute. then they charge a 486.00 diagnostic fee. For further inspection to finding the problem. once that's over they tell you what's wrong and charge dealership repair fees.. i spent 1717 to get fuel injection put in and and spark plugs, just for a week later my car had same codes and same non starting issues. they find the biggest problem fix it then tell you you can bring it back so they can look at it again just to make more money. i'm dissatisfied because after having my car 4 days they didn't fix the problem they just fixed something other than the problem. i would not suggest this place unless you want to spend a lot of money for nothing. My car still doesn't crank and broke down on me. read more

Overall I'm happy with the work that was done. I've come twice, brake job plus several other maintenance related things, like new battery, etc. They diagnosed my car and completed it with high quality. My only complaint is the second time, I was promised my car would be done one day but it took more time. I wasn't prepared to be without transportation for more than 3 days. "Shane will not turn a wrench unless he turns a big profit"; I promise you this is a fact! In May 2024 I allowed them to repair my fuel system on my BMW 535i because they were friendly, convenient and seemed to be a reputable facility. My 1st surprise was them charging me for towing. After all of the nickel and dime-ing I spent $3200.00. I would advise anyone to always get a second quote even if you have to pay for towing and diagnostics. Btw, I was charged $320.00 for the diagnostic. Shane also charged me for an oil change which just days before he told me was no charge!!! I should not have went back to him after that. I also noticed that Bemer Plus has a very high turnover on personnel and technicians. When I went there the 1st time the initial technician that surveyed my vehicle was on his way out only after working there a short time. This 2nd time went back I noticed that the technician that actually worked on my vehicle in May 2024 was no longer there. Hmmm? When I returned to Bemer Plus on September 17, 2024 there was yet another new technician. Hmmm? I went in for a crankshaft gasket replacement whereas their initial quote was $763.00. I showed them a quote from another repair for $549.00 for the same work yet they still came in at $563.00. He turned around and charged me $175.00 for a smoke/leaked detection test. That was above the normal standard cost for what should be charged for this service. I was a glutton for punishment. The same day I received a quote from them for a valve cover replacement and I was speechless. Shane doesn't present these quotes himself; his service presenter delivery the news (with a smile). Bemer Plus' quote was $1962.06. I received from Advantage BMW 3 other quotes for the same job $2150.73 which included a NEW loaner vehicle, additional part which Bemer Plus did not include and 10% off because I was a previous customer; $1935.73. (Please see quotes below). I would go to Advantage BMW before I go to Bemer Plus! Ultimately, I received a quote from another repair facility which I've used before for $830.00 less than BMW's quote. In the end, I always wish to give the smaller shop a chance to earn my business but at the same time I will leave you with this advice: "Shop around before you allow the tear down", don't get screwed! read more

My husband took his S550 Mercedes to Bemer Auto Plus for air ride suspension work & some other mechanical issues. Fred quoted us a price of 5k after several months of the car being in the shop with little or no communication from the owner or shop employees we finally got the car back 3 mnths later. The overall price was 7k a vast difference of the previous 5k quoted price. B4 picking it up Fred informed us it was a hole in the passenger door. How that happen is yet to be explained. He offer to fix it but he did a half ass job fixing the hole in the car. When we were finally able to pick the car up it was a complete travesty the gas was cypher out the car. Upon bringing the car to Bemer Plus it had a full tank. In addition to the gas cyphering the car ran absolutely horrible all the malfunction lights were going haywire. I'm not sure if he even fix the air ride suspension we were still experiencing the same problems we brought it in for. What I do know is our car ran better b4 brining it to Bemer Plus we did not have half the problems we're experiencing with it now. As a result of the how bad the car was improperly fix & all the damage that happen while in the care of Bemer Plus we're force to sell it. My husband call Fred to tell him about the disdain he had about his quality of work & Fred wanted another 2k to fix what we already paid for. Do not I repeat do not take your car to this place. The prices are astronomical & the quality of work is horrendous. What I do know is that our car was riding smoothly b4 we drop it off. Cars are demanding and if you don't take care of them ESPECIALLY changing oil regularly in Houston and doing scheduled maintenance you are asking for trouble. I had my first BMW with 240,000 miles and would have kept it longer had i not gotten into an accident. The labor rates are among the most competitive in the city for the quality of work they do. Really great, fast, inexpensive service! Took my 2013 BMW 328i in for an oil change and waited about an hour. No appointment needed. I had some lights that were coming on on my dash and they looked at the for free (BMW dealership wanted to charge me $150!). Said there was a bulb problem, changed it for me and only charged me for the bulb, not labor AND fixed it so my light doesn't come on again! They also gave me some codes to take to the dealership that last fixed my car so they could fix the crap they didn't before. This is why I LOVE independent shops. I had a 2004 545i and Fred took great care of me with that car! Because it is low to the ground I would always scrape the front end. Every year I took the car to Bemer Plus and had them remove all the rock chips and scrapes on the lower section. They did a great I also had a couple accidents and they always did an excellent job of repairing my car. When we had the last cold spell my heater would not work. Bemer Plus repaired the defective parts and I had heat 3 hours later! They have performed a great amount of work on my 545i and were always ALWAYS professional and courteous! They are MUCH cheaper than the dealer and they have a comfortable waiting area! I highly recommend this shop to anyone needing quality professional work performed on their vehicle. I dropped my car off for repairs 2 months ago. I went to pick up my vehicle after making over $2500 in payments to find out that my car has been stolen from the lot today. They had me sitting in the lobby for 1 hour after taking my remaining payment on the car for it to be released to me. The only thing these people could tell me is that they will have to check the camera, to then find out that apparantly they camera system only goes back 3 weeks. This means they have not seen my car on their property for over 3 weeks and only noticed it has been stolen when i arrive to pick up my car. This is also horrifying because they have been taking my money and payments from me on the car over the phone for over 2 months and not having my car in their possession. All they could do is say they will email me when they finish the police report refunded to refund me my almost $3000 in repairs. They lost my car and the car keys meaning most likely they were very negligent towards my car and left the keys near the vehicle for it to have been stolen under their care! I have no proof that they actually even finished the repairs on my car because it is missing upon me trying to go pick it up! This is their fault and they will be held responsible I am so disappointed on top of everything the manager expressed to me that it has happened to TWO other customers within this year. They have not tried to check cameras daily and they do not have Secuity watching the premisses after hours. read more

Honest and Extra! This was my second experience for the same thing. Happy with their care both times. I have (had) a 2005 Acura TL. I need led to replace the headlight. I called Sterling McCall Acura and was looking at a cost of $650 just for the light no labor. Bemer Plus did it for less than $250 with labor. Happy me. My daughter now has the car and same thing happened. Called SM Acura just to see, again, too high without labor. Auto Check quoted $1300 with labor. This is just for one light. Not! I insisted she go back to Bemer Plus. I paid for the light ahead of time about $350. Got a call later that it was a bulb and not the whole unit. And they fixed both lights and cleaned them. And I got a refund of $83!!!!!! Yes REFUND!! Mary was so diligent and helpful. I will send everybody here!!!!! read more

I had to get my car towed here because it wouldn't start. I decided to come here based om Yelp reviews. I was a little disappointed by the inattention of the staff when I first arrived. I sat outside for about 5 minutes after the service attendant took my keys from the tow driver. I had to walk in the office to look for the guy and it seemed I was not following some unposted protocol to check in and request service. The clerk took my info and said she would call me once they looked at my car. They called in about an hour and just my luck it was the measley battery that was still under warranty (Glorayyyyy!!). They went to Oriely where I bought the battery switched it out. I'm pissed I didn't think to check the battery and that I had to spend that service charge..grrr. but VERY thankful it wasn't something worse. read more

I own a 2007 BMW 335i that needed a tune up and more importantly an oil leak fixed as it was getting everywhere and potentially harming the engine. When I went I specifically asked the owner to "just fix everything and anything that needs fixing but mainly the oil leak". Everything was going well, was impressed with the service and how kind the receptionist/office manager was. I was even surprised they washed my car and cleaned the inside when I got the car back! The only(albeit a major problem) issue I had after spending almost 3,000$ there was 3 weeks later the oil light came on saying the oil was low. I called and told the owner the problem and he sounded hesitant to deal with the problem and only said "if it's something we did we'll fix it" and almost seemed bothered I was calling. I took it to get fixed and of course, the oil leak had nothing to do with what they "fixed". So you're Telling me that after asking to fix a simple LEAK, that all a sudden 3 weeks later it's leaking from somewhere else and it's completely unrelated? Ridiculous. Apparently it's a colossal coincidence it broke right after being taken in. Man that's timing there. I CAME IN with a leak and LEFT with a LEAK and a shoddy job that didn't dix anything. Now I'm stuck with a leak unless I fork up another 800$ for them to fix something they didn't fix in the first place. Unbelievable, you'd think after being a 3,000$ customer that they'd make more of an attempt to "meet me halfway" but all I got was a "sorry, that happens". read more

The place looks a little sketchy on the exterior, but Fred, Mary and Shawn were all very nice and the team rapidly confirmed my alternator was out, as was suspected by the tow driver. If I could give less than one star I would. This place had our car for almost 6 months. Everytime we call or go by there is some excuse as to why its not ready. We are told a part has been ordered and its on his way and a week later no part and the excuse the part was sent to the wrong shop by accident. We get fed up and call to pick up our car and are told with a nasty attitude we cant come because the car is at the alignment shop. We get to the shop over a week later and they admit the alignment was never done so they lied. Finally pick up the car and it has major exterior damage. Custom kit cracked, bumper hanging (clip broke off), paint scratched, interior plastic broken off in some places. Just terrible over $1200 for we don't know what. We will never bring a car back to this place. If you know what is good for your car you stay far away from this place. read more
