I happen to pull into the place when I was about to goto the dealership which was going to cost an arm and leg. I paid I about 144 for diagnostic and they determined that it was a failed water pump. they had the car for two days max to make sure the found everything. Water pump was replaced with original Volkswagen parts and they kept my updated with pictures of the part and the work. price was very reasonable considering this is a German car and the complexity of the work. I was more than satisfied with the work and professionalism of the staff. I got a two year warranty on the work and the car drives perfect again. I took my car to this shop for a diagnostic and was clearly quoted $185 upfront. When I returned to pick up my car, suddenly the price had jumped to $400 with no repairs done. That's more than double the agreed amount. When I questioned it, they tried to deflect by saying a dealership would cost more. That's not the point--the point is they changed the price on me after the fact, which is simply not honest business. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. this is one of the worst scammers in Houston, I have had many bad mechanics and but these guys are not even clever about it, the more questions you ask the more frustrated they get with their own bullshit answers, they wanted $1500 to fix 5v ref wire, replace data cable, and reset smart module, the actual problem was new spark plugs and ignitions coils, which was one if the potential issues I told them another mechanic had diagnosed, they said nope I know exactly what it is and refused to clarify any details which was after keeping my car for 3 days when they said it would take 2-3 hrs to look at, they only look for dumb people with money to burn, not interested in helping or serving people who are trying to fix their only vehicle, total scumbags, avoid at all cost, if you find an honest mechanic keep them because this skeezy old man and his overaged con man level 1 helper hate hard working honest smart people in need, I paid $200 for them to try and scam me out of $1500 and unnecessarily kept my car for 3 days no doubt another failed attempt to pressure and scam someone like me in need of real service, complete waste of time money and energy read more

These guys provide an exceptional service at a very fair price. I was having some electrical issues with my truck that no other shop could figure out. Their was an electrical short that prevented my brake lights and signal lights on my boat trailer from operating property. They found the short under my dash and made the repairs for a very reasonable price. They even told me to bring my boat trailer to make sure there were no issues with the wiring on my trailer. Long story short I did a transmission swap on my car recently but I was still having the same problems as the old one. So I came to consult with the guy at this shop. I gave him the full story and the issues but before I could finish telling him what was going on he got rude and said he didn't want my business. It wasn't hard to understand if you payed attention mechanically. I took it to another shop (A+ Transmission Specialists) told them the same thing I tried telling this guy and they told me no problem bring it in and they'll check it for free.
