This place has good customer service but that's where it stops. i brought me vehicle…read morein because it would not start are stay idle when i come to a complete stop. i scanned my car for codes then had it towed to Beamer plus. they gave me a free 15 minute inspection which you can't do nothing but see for 15 minute. then they charge a 486.00 diagnostic fee. For further inspection to finding the problem. once that's over they tell you what's wrong and charge dealership repair fees.. i spent 1717 to get fuel injection put in and and spark plugs, just for a week later my car had same codes and same non starting issues. they find the biggest problem fix it then tell you you can bring it back so they can look at it again just to make more money. i'm dissatisfied because after having my car 4 days they didn't fix the problem they just fixed something other than the problem. i would not suggest this place unless you want to spend a lot of money for nothing. My car still doesn't crank and broke down on me.

After bringing our vehicle to a different auto shop and getting a laundry list of issues with a hefty price tag, a friend told us to bring our vehicle to Salah's for his opinion. Did I mention that this was literally a DAY before we were leaving for a TX to NY road-trip??? Nothing like leaving things to the last minute, eh? I was ASTOUNDED that they brought our vehicle into a bay immediately upon arriving. I was further BLOWN AWAY when they had about 5+ guys stop what they were doing and all checking out our vehicle!! After the vehicle was looked over, Salah reported to us that he agreed with most of the items on the "laundry list", one item was unnecessary but also added that our vehicle needed new rear breaks and rotors. He BEAT the other estimate and then some... EVEN with adding on the rear breaks and rotors!! THABK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! Salah's Auto was able to get my vehicle fixed THAT DAY. We left it in the morning and was able to get it later that day! We can not say how much we appreciate Salah and his crew for helping us before our big road trip! I recently took my 2001 Honda Accord in because it was leaking oil (it has 260k mi). David looked at it, diagnosed it, and told me that the cost to fix wouldn't be worthwhile given the car's value. I took my car in because the check engine light came on. I also asked for a 50,000 mile Service. As before, I was texted a quote with no breakdown of cost. This quote was over $6000 saying my car needed a new catalytic converter and three sensors. A 3 year old car needs a new catalytic converter?? When I told them I would pick up my car they then called Volvo and found out that a catalytic converter is covered under a warranty. Not just any warranty, but a federal mandate that says it is covered completely under 80,000 miles. Wouldn't a service provider at a dealership know that? I think this service department sees a woman walking in, assumes I don't know anything and just sees $$$. I do not recommend this dealership and I've completely lost my faith in them.

I Had Terrible Experience By Mayco Auto repair. I was…read moreReferred by a Friend to here, But that was my worst experience in mechanic shops I ever Had. That's unbelievable. I took my Truck there with Running engine for repair. I asked them estimate, they wanted me to wait for 1 Hour. After that they gave me estimate of $4500 for some repairs on the Truck. It looked expensive to me and I wanted to Try another mechanic to make sure I'm not being over charged. Guess what? They car was not Running any more. They opened many parts from engine. I asked the mechanic to put it back on, He was very Rude and said: NO, YOU NEED TO PAY AT LEAST 4-5 Hours Labor to me, (4x$120), Minimum $500 to put them back on. They never had my permission to take off parts from engine for Diagnostic. I asked Manager to Talk and the Manager was even Worst and Rude. He was forcing to charge me. They never put parts back and I Had to get Tow truck to take out my car because I was sure their plan is to just charge you, No matter what. I called Tow truck to come and take it to another mechanic. Finally they charge me $100 for Diagnosing fee and my car was Not running any more. I payed a lot to tow the car to different mechanics and No one touched the car because some else took parts out and cut the bolts off. A few weeks later any other mechanics recommended me to take it to the original shop who took the engine apart and ask the to put parts back and make engine running like it was originally for Diagnosing and repair. I went back to the shop and talked to the Manager Which still was so Rude. Asked Him to fix the Car With His original Estimate around $4500. Guess what? This time he said $6500 for same repair. What normal person or Owner Does that? That was unbelievable. I asked them to do at least for $5500 for same original estimate of $4500. Same work just because I left and had to come back. They knew it and it was part of their plan. The manager said No. You have to pay $6500, Nothing less. I asked him to put the parts back like originally and pay him the labor he wanted. He Said No. I told the Owner I will leave reviews and let other people know about it. He said Do it, I Don't Care about reviews. I had to leave because I was sure even if I pay them the $6500 they never fix it and then want $10,000. The whole car Doesn't worth more that $6000. So I was looking for a auto repair place open on Sundays and I found this place! Thank goodness…read more Because I needed a few tires and a alignment, they were quick to work that up for me. I asked if they could check out my car for other issues, not only did they tell me what all I needed done but they explained and showed me what needed to be fixed. My car is older and I didn't expect it to be perfect but they gave me rundown what I needed with price (showed me on a tv screen the price of the parts & what their labor fee was) so I definitely appreciate that! so I can get it all done and know what to expect. I'm kinda upset that I didn't find them sooner. But now that I have, they now have a new loyal customer!

He reworked the transmission on our Saturn Vue and has performed numerous repairs on it and the Jeep Cherokee we owned (since traded in on a new Jeep Grand Cherokee.) It turns out he has his own transmission shop where he and other repair facilities send the transmissions that come into them. Jeff is friendly and honest. Quail Valley is the best auto repair facility in the Missouri City area.
