A really good atmosphere, helpful and kind servers, and reasonably priced for a pretty good pizza. The garlic cheesy bread was covered in garlic, which makes this guy love it. On the pizza, generous amounts of cheese and pineapple, which for some might be a little bit much, but again it, was amazing. The crust was our favorite part and forced us to eat up the pizza. Usually our go to place with some friends from work. Very laid back, grunge type of theme. Music is usually 90s grunge/rock. Couple of pinball games and machines. TVs with sports and stuff. Great place to hang out, eat, drink and BS. Service is usually good and fast. We have been here for lunch a few times recently, and I like their pizza's. You can get pizza by the slice for lunch, with cheese, pepperoni, and Hawaiian available every day. They also have a daily veg, and combo pizza available. I have had the pepperoni, and a couple different daily combo pizza, and liked them all. The reason I give them a 3 star, is the first time there, I ordered spaghetti and meatballs. I was really hoping for a good bowl of spaghetti, I was disappointed. There was very little sauce placed on top of the spaghetti, the result being the spaghetti was just bland pasta. I had to ask for extra sauce, just to be able to eat the spaghetti. I wish they tossed their pasta in the sauce, since the meatballs that come with it were pretty good. read more

Went here the other night for a slice after the club. The pizza was fine but nothing spectacular. It kinda reminded me of pizza that you get from Pagliacci if you need somewhere to compare it too. Some frozen brands are better in my honest opinion. The crust was thin and soft. The placement of the ingredients could have been better but that may just be me being picky. I like to have toppings in each bite since I am not a fan of plain cheese pizza. I guess that could also be due to the size of the bites I take as well... (not taking into account for the rating) The place had a decent amount of people at 1am eating there / drinking as well as a short line for people ordering a slice to go. Break me off a pizza of that happy hour slice! I met my friend here for happy hour, where Belltown Pizza offers a solid deal on pizza slices and booze, everything being less than five bucks each! We sat out on the patio, which quickly filled up soon after happy hour began. Patio seating is at the front of the bar, looking out to the street. It's a great place for a couple of people to sit out on a sunny day. On happy hour, pizza slices are only $2.50! Heck yeah! You can choose from Cheese, Pepperoni, Hawaiian or the Daily Veggie or Daily Meat. During our visit we both had the Daily Meat, which was comprised of bacon, Mama's Li'l Peppers and red onions. It was tasty, and liked that it was piping hot when it came to our table, and was on the thin side where you can fold it - which is how I prefer my pizza! For booze they have a great beer list on tap, which includes a rotating IPA and many local WA beers and have house wines for only four bucks! Happy hour, indeed. Service was fantastic! Our server was super friendly and though he got busy, serving all those on the patio, in addition to the bar area he was managing, he never seemed stressed nor annoyed. Belltown Pizza is a great place for a slice and a drink if you're in the area, especially during happy hour with the most affordable deals! My first time at this place and I don't see why it has any negative reviews. My friend Maddie, the bartender, is amazing and very caring. If you come in and see her behind the bar, you're gonna get some great drinks. She knows her stuff. The ambience is pretty nice too and plenty of screens for sports and other viewing. Full transparency: we didn't end up eating here. Review is based on an experience with their hours. A friend has a big birthday coming up and she picked Belltown Pizza for where she wanted to celebrate her lunch. A different member of the group checked the website and it clearly says their hours are 10:00AM to 2:00AM on Saturdays. Today, that Saturday, we arrived around 10:45. Belltown Pizza was dark and the etching on their door read that they were open starting at 11:30 from Tuesday to Sunday (IIRC, but did include Saturday). We had already driven, found a spot to park and paid, so we decided we could kill 45 minutes to wait and so we did. 11:30, 11:35 rolls around. Belltown Pizza is still dark. We called? No answer. We ended up walking two blocks over to a different place as we were no longer interested in giving Belltown Pizza our business. Belltown Pizza: make sure you are actually open the hours you indicate you are. Belltown isn't exactly a drop in place for many people and it took effort to get there. They actually make a decent New York slice and are open late, but the staff are downright hostile at times if they're not ignoring you completely. Tonight, with more staff in house than patrons, I waited 5 mins at the bar before even being acknowledged; then another 20 mins for a single slice of pizza which never came. When I asked for a refund, the bartender who "served" me mocked the situation and literally threw half what I paid at me out of her pocket; I then had to ask for the rest, which she threw on the floor in front of me. We saw pictures and thought it looked good...but we picked up our $35 pizzas (each!) and they were not good. The shredded cheese was caked on the pizza and the cheese wasn't good quality. The other pizza was supposed to be pepperoni and Italian sausage...but it only had a few thin slices of sausage (not crumbled) along with a few slices of pepperoni, again with the heavy, frozen pizza tasting cheese. We asked for it to be crispy but it was undercooked. On a positive note, the crust was very good. The crust was the only thing remotely "NY pizza" about it. Do not go here for the pizza. Wish we had seen Bernz G's Yelp review before we decided to eat here. Review is based on food not servers or ambiance. It took about 45 min for food to come out. Got a slice of Hawaiian, calzone and a salad. The pizza had one slice of canadian bacon that was inedible--literally couldnt chew through it. All the pineapples were burnt or shriveled up from cooking for so long. The calzone was burnt on the outside and cold on the inside. The cheese was not melted entirely either. It was taken back to the kitchen, reheated, and returned. Both pizza and calzone were very bland. Salad was good. Our server was very nice. The place was busy, but they did a great job.
