Absolutely loved the customer service that I received. The woman who took my order was just awesome. Also loved the typical barbecue joint theme decorations throughout the restaurant. And lastly I loved all of the food, truly :)

2 spare ribs, 3 baby back ribs, and a pound of brisket (half lean, half fatty).

Johnny W.

Picked up some smoked meats to go since my dad and I were missing a protein with our dinner. $40 for the haul wasn't bad! Taste and texture of the meats were on point. Solid neighborhood spot, surprised at how empty it was on a Saturday night but it was an hour before closing. Our only critique was that the house bbq and spicy bbq sauce were not a hit. I've never had a bbq sauce like that so we'll pass on that next time.

Brisket sandwich mac n cheese. Baby back ribs.

Rob K.

As the kids would say the place is mid. Not bad but not good either. Walking up a nice bbq smell wafted in the air and got me excited. Unfortunately the excitement was short lived. I got the brisket sandwich with mac n cheese and two baby back rib bones. Service was quick and easy. If you have to put shredded cheese on top of your mac you've already failed. It was gross and almost inedible. The ribs were dry and flavorless. The meat did not fall off the bone. The brisket was bland and dry. The the og bbq sauce and spicy sauce were both very good and saved the brisket. On a side note the strip mall has the ugliest buildings.

I've been meaning to try Bell's for quite awhile, this morning I was craving bbq so we decided to come here, the smells as you walk up are salavating. As soon as you walk in there is a counter where you place your order, the cashier was very welcoming and answered all of the questions I had to help me decide. I ended up getting a plate of Brisket which comes with Texas Toast, and your choice of two sides, I ordered their crispy Brussels sprouts- these are a premium side, so they were a .75 up charge, I also had their red beans and rice and since I really wanted cornbread I ordered a side of that too (totally unnecessary on my part since they serve the brisket over Texas Toast) They have a great variety of sides, which actually made my decision on what to order hard because I love sides. The brisket was tender smoky and delicious, and they had 4 different bbq sauces to top your meats off with. Overall I left here extremely full and satisfied. Glad I finally made my way in here, I plan on coming back soon to try all the different sides and meats.

Pulled pork sandwich, mac n' cheese, and wonderful fried onions.

This would have been a 4-star review, but my brisket was the fattest I can recall ever getting at a restaurant. The first time we ate at Bell's a couple of years ago, I also had fatty brisket. I told my wife I would never order it at Bell's again. However, while placing an order online, I saw where you could request lean brisket. Great, I'll give them another chance! I requested, "The leanest brisket you have, please." They even print that on your receipt. Lean, it was not, I ate just about half of the meat. My wife's pulled pork sandwich was quite good. Bell's sides are quite good. As we usually do, we got a side of Brussels sprouts, mac n' cheese, and the deviled egg potato salad. We tried the Buffalo Cauliflower, and I really loved it! Nice and crispy with a kick that is not overwhelming. We also like the braised greens and mashed yams. Also, their house BBQ sauce is quite good. The girl who checked out our carryout order was very friendly, even funny. As BBQ fanatics, we'd be back more often if the brisket wasn't so fatty.

It's one year later than our first review. Could they possibly perform as well as last year. YUP!!! We ordered our Thanksgiving turkey from Bells. the only differnce is that this year we asked them to carve the turkey for us. The turkey was delivered exactly when we asked for it. And it was carved perfectly. Delish! they did it again. Great service . Excellent food. Reasonable prices.

I asked for the sweet BBQ sauce. I don't know why I was also given a mustard sauce. Neither of us will touch that.

Oh, the smell! We had to park in the next lot over because someone in that strip center was having a party; their guests had taken every single parking spot! From the second we exited our car, we could smell the fabulous smell of barbecue. We entered Bell's with great anticipation. We had eaten here once, several years ago. I thought I'd written a review but can't find it. I remember there was something strange about a big hunk of bread ... Today, clean slate. Hubby and I wanted to take food home with us. Nathifa was polite and pleasant but I had to ask her to repeat what she said, louder. So soft-spoken, I couldn't hear her initially. Hubby ordered 1/2 pound of pulled pork to go. We ordered 1/2 pound of brisket for me. I've just eaten much of the brisket and it was definitely the best part of my meal. I did add sauce to it. My one complaint with the brisket: I ordered shredded (not chopped). It was shredded but not well. There were a couple of pieces that were the size of my three center fingers! Hubby had the exact same complaint about his pulled pork. For sides, we chose the braised greens and BBQ beans. I was so looking forward to the greens which are shown on the menu board as "Collard Greens." They seriously needed some heat; a good dose of Tabasco would have helped by providing both heat and acid. Additionally, the bites of bacon were under-cooked. They should have been cooked fully so that they'd add a crunch factor. Hours later, I reheated the Collard Greens and leftover shredded brisket. I added Tabasco and lemon juice. The leftovers were much better than what I'd eaten earlier. The BBQ beans initially had a good flavor (sweet) but I found the combination of beans to be weird. There are three beans, one of which is the black bean. The black beans just didn't belong. Also, there are bits of something red; red bell pepper, maybe? It adds nothing good to the dish; it just adds to the weirdness of the beans. We ordered two slices of Texas Toast which were, of course, cold when we got home. Both slices looked good on one side but were somewhat burnt on the reverse side. This lunch was $43. This was a disappointing meal. The last two times we got food from Big B's Texas BBQ, the food was horrible. We were hoping to get a good meal from Bell's. We didn't. So the search for good barbecue continues.

nt to Bell's BBQ with my mom. The food was amazing. I got the ribs with Mac and cheese and potato salad. I personally felt like I didn't even need to put bbq sauce on the ribs because the dry rub was that good. The people working at the restaurant were also very nice. The restaurant itself was decorated pretty simply too. I would definitely go back here.

Delicious food. Great service. Feels like a down home environment. I got the brisket cheesesteak sandwich. It was awesome .

The potential is there for Bell's to be great, but the lack of attention with their food is disappointing. Our most recent experience is such a let down, and a health hazard. My chicken strips were placed into the to go container while they were so hot that plastic melted onto my food. They were overly salty, but the quality of chicken was decent. Our hush puppies were undercooked and had a raw flour taste. They were gooey. The Mac and cheese lacks any real flavor at all. I shoved some fried onions on top to try to save it. It's creamy, at least, but everything just falls short. Why put two cracker pieces on top but no seasoning? No paprika, pepper, or garlic? The cornbread tastes like a rich cake. Southern cornbread has a hint of sweetness - it's not dessert. The brisket was overly salty and heavy. There sadly wasn't one thing we liked. The desserts looked so good on the counter, but I felt hesitant to try them and I'm glad I didn't. They're a whopping $6.99 for a tiny jar of cake or pudding. I was excited to try Bell's again, because the first time I gave benefit of the doubt that I hadn't tried enough of the menu, and I was mostly just excited to have a BBQ spot in town. I saw they had boiled peanuts so we tried again and completely wasted our money. Call us picky, but we really feel Bell's can do better quality wise for the price. The one upside is that the customer service is fairly good.

Went in for some food, mediocre at best, but my main problem was the owner's attitude I'm not sure what happened but there was a guy there for a pick up and I guess the food was not ready and he was upset and asked the person behind the register when it was going to be ready and the the employee responded by mocking him with his body language. The guy then went up to the that employee and I thought he was going to pummel him. Afterwards the customer/courier (whatever he was) went outside to wait for the food I guess. Few minutes later another customer got into it with this same employee. It turns out this employee was the actual owner of Bell's. When the original customers food was ready, the owner brought it to him, said something and scurried back in. I did not realize he was the owner until I overheard him saying it. Anyway, this was something that you don't see everyday and I'm surprised how unprofessional the owner was. read more

Food was good, service was very friendly and helpful We got , pull pork sandwiches, briskets , 1/2 fried chicken , side dishes are cheesy grits, corn coblet, yams, buffalo cauliflower/ blue cheese dip, potatoes salad, Cesar coleslaw. We also got extra sides of pork belly a la carte , hot chicken wing which isn't a wing but more like a leg with chicken thigh deep fried in batter then slathered with tasty hot bbq sauce. Portions were huge for the price and we had some left over to take home but I would recommend to finished the pork belly there when it is crunchy otherwise it is gross for later on Out of all the side dishes, I like the grits, Cesar coleslaws but I would like to try fried okra as one of the side and other items on the menu Definitely will be back . I want to say my 4th or 5th time stopping in to dine at this place and I love it . Good food, but never ever to me is that the most important observation. However, good food is important but it never trumps professionalism and warm welcoming. Both great food and shout out to "Megan" . She's awesome, the staff there are all awesome. Was disappointed by what Bells puts out as bbq. ordered brisket with a beef rib on the side. the order i picked up was more like 1oz of jerky on a bone and some of the driest brisket ive ever had. i was shocked to see two bones in my beef rib order thinking id scored some extra meat. what i got though was an overcooked dose of mass amounts of paperlike membrane. the small amount of meat i did get was overcooked, dry, and almost jerky like in texture. brisket was just as overcooked it seemed. they tried to help by covering it with sauce (using a sauce different from the one i ordered and got on the side :-\ ) but it didn't help. sides were mediocre. mac and cheese was good onion straws were solid but nothing to go back for. nothing really was. ill stick to mulls and lucielles read more

Just had lunch here with a friend. We walked in and found the menu confusing and their was no full service with Menus handed to you. We finally ordered and sat down. As soon as the food came and it was quick too the restaurant redeemed it self the chefs are definitely focused on the BBQ and the rest of the foodie the menu, great meats and side are really special too. We ordered the Brisket and Pulled Pork both were delicious, my husband loved the spicy ketchup that comes with the 'Hot Tots', his only complaint was the 3 Cheese Mac was luke warm. Cozy place with a good vibe and great service! Flew in from LA to see my hair stylist (whose space is around the building) and had some time to kill for lunch. The pulled pork sandwich is to die for. Although the Texas Toast "bun" is a bit much, the amount and quality of the pork was amazing. Love that they have multiple BBQ sauces (I prefer the spicy, vinegar-based one), and awesome mac & cheese. Oh, and homemade pickles! Pretty sure I will make time to stop in every time I come in for a haircut. read more

Bell's is our go to for bbq! I love the pork belly, my favorite. We typically order baby back ribs, sliced brisket & something for the kiddo. We've had a few of the sides - grits, deviled egg potato salad and rice & beans are more of our faves. Cornbread is great too. We usually order delivery and haven't been disappointed yet. My husband and I ate here on Wednesday, January 10, 2018. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted immediately and were asked if this was our first time eating there. The menu items were explained in detail to us. My husband ordered the pulled-pork sandwich with a side of okra fries. I ordered the pulled-brisket sandwich with a side of roasted brussel sprouts and an extra side of red beans and rice. Sandwiches come with one side and homemade pickles. Everything was delicious! They have a small selection of beers (local and others) to drink with the BBQ. Their portions were decent size. The sandwiches were both on Texas toast bread which was toasted. What I loved about the sandwich was that the meat did not fall out; somehow they made it miraculously stay in between the two slices of bread, which was wonderful. The red beans and rice were good, I just didn't think it was spicy enough. The fried okra fries is a new twist(to me) on fried okra. They were very good. Crispy, light and not mushy. They have a bottle of BBQ on the tables along with wipes and extra napkins. Nice touch. We ordered of their sweet jar desserts to go; a Key-lime pie. The Key-lime pie was made of a chocolate crust versus a traditional graham cracker crust. My husband prefers the traditional crust; but said it was was really good. By the way, we used $5 off when you check in with YELP. No problem. The atmosphere was pleasant. Staff checked on us occasionally to see how we were doing and cleared our plates when were finished. Great service from start to finish! They have two televisions in there in case you don't feel like conversing with others. I would recommend eating here. Just as reference, I use to own Fat Tuesdays Kitchen in Delavan, Wi we closed but I still have reviews here on yelp and feel like I can comment on good or bad flavors. Beef brisket had ABSOLUTELY NO BARK whatsoever, and it was sliced, part of the reason you slice is to get that great smoky bark flavor in every bite, mine had none. Beef was dry and no smoke flavor at all. Tasted like roast beef with no seasonings. Referring to ribs, I have to assume they were suppose to be smoked but again ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKE RING, and if they came off the charcoal grill, that flavor was also missing. Tough. Now for positives, ABSOLUTELY ONE OF THE BEST POTATO SALADS I HAVE EVER TASTED! Black eye peas were good, and the Pork Belly was a little tough, but it did have some smoky flavor. Don't know if I would order again, but if I did I will stick to sides. Just keeping it REAL! read more

This place is a hidden gem. I don't like much BBQ, because I can't stand when everything is covered in sauce (to where you cannot taste the flavor of the food underneath), so I was pleasantly surprised when I came to Bell's! The atmosphere is definitely one of Southern hospitality - they will help you with just about anything you need, at any time. The staff are welcoming, knowledgeable, and polite. The food here is spot-on. I have had (and recommend): BBQ Brisket (Cooked perfectly! No rubber here!) Shrimp Po'Boy (The shrimp are HUGE and are battered perfectly - and not greasy!) Shrimp Dinner (See comments about the shrimp - seriously - just get them!) Sides: Yams! (Super delicious and creamy!) 4 cheese corn (don't fight it - just try one!) Okra fries (I HATE okra, so this should tell you something) Macaroni and Cheese Brussels Sprouts It says something about an establishment when NO ONE speaks during dinner. The several times I have gone, the dining room was full, and everyone was QUIET. I recommend this place to anyone who thinks of themselves as a BBQ connoisseur. I know I will be back! read more

My wife and I loved this BBQ place! I had the spare ribs with smoked collard greens and fried okra fries. They were great! This place is also great for my wife and I since we live in Henderson, but I would recommend the drive for anyone. Seems to be a family owned place and you can feel it when you walk in along with the great service! read more

It's only about 10 minutes from my place, so I made it super easy early in the morning right when they got there at 8:00., and just note that you have to walk all the way around to the side of the building to get in. Nevertheless, I made it to the door. Super cool fact is they also have outdoor seating which is kind of nice, but the real treasure lies within For starters, this place has a real rustic feel. Definitely warm and inviting, lots of tables to sit at. I was greeted warmly when I came in. Told her it was my first time and she was very excited. I was there and gave me the complete rundown of the place as well as her favorites on the menu. I opted for the tri-tip eggs Benedict.. which comes on their signature. Biscuits. Started things off with a cup of coffee. I don't know what brand they use but it was nice and strong and very delicious. The Benedict itself was truly a work of art. The hash browns were cooked to perfection, and whatever Hollandaise sauce they put on that thing is wonderful. I definitely should have asked for extra. The meat was Smoky and perfectly cooked, and made for a very delightful meal. Added bonus, they have a fully stocked bourbon bar that looked very appetizing. It was only 8:30 in the morning so I really didn't feel right about doing an old fashioned, but I will definitely be coming back here on a Friday night for their rib special and I'll have an old fashioned bin and report back. Bottom line? Everything here is wonderful. I have no complaints and it was a absolutely perfect for star meal. If you are anywhere in the area I say go check it out.

I love Texas barbecue Chicago BBQ, Carolina BBQ. There is so many good places that do meats. I usually don't go to chains because it just tends to be repetitious. But I do make an exception for Lucille's. I have been to this particular restaurant numerous times, and it never disappoints. Most of the time I go there for lunch, because they have such good lunch specials. One of the things I like is the diversity of meats that they have. You can get ribs, brisket, pulled pork, all kinds of goodness on a plate that will not break the bank. My usual go-to is the three meats, and I often pair it with a side salad to start.. just to pretend like I'm being healthy. I do have to brag on their sauces, they're spicy. Barbecue sauce is really really good and doesn't blow off the top of your head. It adds a nice spicy profile to the meat which is already smoked and charred to perfection. And can we talk for a moment about the banana pudding? It is the perfect capper for a meal and makes you feel like you are smack dab in the middle of the South. I highly recommend that you get the banana pudding even if you're on a diet. It doesn't count when you're in Lucille's. Bottom line? This is definitely one of my go-to barbecue places that is a chain restaurant. Of course you can find one-off barbecues around the Las Vegas valley, but when you're looking for consistent, good barbecue with great service and a complete complimentary line of needs and sides, Lucille's has you covered.

Took my family here, had heard about it, I live a block away, and I walked past it once and it was really charming inside with the decor and lighting. Wife and I both ordered the brisket, got the pulled pork for my little boy. The brisket tasted great but could have been hotter. I loved the bread it was served on. The battered fried onions were a great touch as well. Downsides? Why 3 stars? Well, all of our sides were warm. Warm is kind of an understatement actually. They were almost warm. I had grits for the first time in my life. I ordered the cheese and grits. It was a cup of grits with shredded cheddar on top. The chedder looked like it had just been grabbed out of a fridge or bowl. I was expecting it to be melted a little. It wasn't. The grits probably tasted good, but the almost warmness of them made me dislike them. My wife and my son got the mac n cheese. Wasn't impressed, it was bland and tasteless. It was also barely warm. The fries were great. Came in a neat little brown bag-basket with an assortment of potatoes and cuts (criss-cut, ridged, traditional, sweet potato, curly). Wife's mashed potatoes tasted good, but once again, the almost warmness of them was off-putting. We shared a red velvet jar. It made up for the warm sides. My wife loved my son's pulled port sandwich. Ultimately, I'll most likely go back at some point to try more things from the menu. The restaurant is charming and I enjoyed being there. I enjoyed most of my food as well. The bits I did enjoy, I really enjoyed. read more

My husband and I went out to eat here tonight. We were driving around aimlessly not knowing what we really wanted. We spotted this place and figured we would give it a shot since we hadn't had BBQ in quite a while. Family owned & operated which is something my husband and I love & do in our personal business as well. Reasonably priced. Food came out quick, presentation was nice, the food was BEYOND my expectations (BBQ is a hard food to master for some places) so delicious!! Staff is kind and personable. Very welcoming, helpful, with a comfortable and casual vibe. Even with the new COVID-19 things in place, it they did great. (Distanced seating, staff is wearing masks, the typical guidelines) Food and drinks delivered to your table. They check on you just enough to where you get what you need (refills, to-go containers, etc.) But you don't feel like your being "bugged". Perfect balance of customer service! Highly recommend. We will be repeat customers! #VegasStrong read more

We visited this spot hoping to try the beef rib, but unfortunately, it wasn't available that day. Instead, we went for the brisket, which turned out to be a bit dry and needed some sauce to enhance the flavor. The mashed potatoes were decent, but the "mac" n cheese, made with penne, didn't quite hit the mark for us. As for the sides, we skipped the baked beans and collard greens since they're made with pork. However, the fries were a delightful mix of straight-cut, criss-cut, curly, crinkle, and sweet potato, adding a fun variety to the meal. Despite some of the misses, we're still intrigued by a few other menu items. We definitely want to return to try the beef rib and pulled chicken. It's also worth noting they offer a beef hot link, though we didn't see any regular beef links. While we'd consider going back for takeout, we'd probably cook our own veggies at home to avoid the pork. Overall, there are enough promising options to warrant another visit. read more

And it took a long time to get our orders, my dish was overcooked and lacking flavor. The portion size was also smaller than expected. . But what REALLY caught my eye was the MASSIVE wall covered with military and first responder patches and challenge coins. As soon as I saw that, I said, "OKAY, NOW THIS IS MY KIND OF PLACE!" In fact, I ran back outside to grab one of my own fire department patches to add to the collection! We were seated on the other side of the restaurant and once again greeted by an amazing waitress. We started with water, a soda, and an order of Cowboy Corn Bites. Let me tell you, those little things PACK SOME FLAVOR! They've got a little kick to them, too, and were an awesome way to start lunch. Now for the main event... My wife ordered the Smoked Turkey Sandwich, which she described as "TO DIE FOR!" I went with something called the "Oklahoma Wedding Cake." Let me tell you, this thing was NO JOKE! A HUGE baked potato split open and loaded with butter, chopped smoked brisket, green onions, and a cheese blend. ABSOLUTELY OUT OF THIS WORLD! And it wasn't just our food. Looking around at what everyone else was eating, EVERYTHING looked incredible and smelled even better! I honestly wanted to start asking people what they ordered because every plate coming out of that kitchen looked amazing. Between the atmosphere, the friendly staff, the incredible food, and the obvious respect shown for our military and first responders, Fox Smokehouse BBQ absolutely knocked it out of the park! The funniest part? My wife and I weren't even out the door before we were already saying, "NEXT TIME WE COME BACK, WE HAVE TO TRY..." And THAT, to me, is the sign of a GREAT restaurant! Fox Smokehouse BBQ, you earned two new fans from New York! FIVE STARS - HIGHLY RECOMMEND! If you're visiting Boulder City, heading to Hoover Dam, or just passing through, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STOP HERE! WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!

Now for the good stuff. Brisket outstanding. Very good bark with a little kick. Break test shows tenderness, and that was after sitting for an hr. See vid. Ribs had great flavor and were very meaty. Sides ...wow. Solid. Creamy Mac 'n cheese, tater salad, beans were nice n molassesie (not sure if that's a word but it works), pickles got some kick, like it. And the corn bread. Well that's a problem. I suspect it's gonna soon be a schedule 2 controlled substance cause it be hella addictive! And KoolAid. Yah, I'm serious. That's not code for anything. It works tho. It works even better with a bit of rum. Just sayin. Get down there and support Carter! "The Box" has everything in it and prolly good for 2 peeps.
