We were in town for one night for business and decided to hit a local brewery (for him) and cider place for me. It was a Wednesday and there was no problem getting a spot. Service was quick and attentive and we even got a window seat with a peek-a-boo view! I had a cider sampler and especially liked the Chai, the Caramel, and the Cherry! I would definitely go back on a future trip! read more

Yummy!!! This Bellingham experience will not leave you questioning your decision. From the time you enter the building the service is impeccable. The wait staff is aware and even if you aren't in their section they make sure you are attended to. Siting out on the back deck you have sweeping views of the Bellingham Harbor and a delightful park. The Ciders are amazing, including the slushy mix. We ordered a wood fired pizza. The crust is light and the pepperoni not overly greasy. The Jalapeños are off the hook! read more

From the time we walked in everything was just perfect. Arrived on Sunday around 11:30 for a good meal before flying out. This green is only 10 min from the airport. Service was impeccable. Drinks outstanding. Food omg there isn't a word descriptive enough! I savored every single bite. I'm pretty sure my eyes were closed and I hummed with eat bite! Food came out piping hot & seasoned to perfection. I couldn't ask for much more honestly, just a well rounded amazing lunch from food to drinks to service. read more

My grand daughter picked this place for her 14th birthday dinner(she's been there with her parents many times) We made reservations so we were seated promptly. We knew what we wanted by the time we got our water so got our order in right away. Food came out timely. The pork belly and the gnocchi were good. The chicken and waffle not so much, the waffle tasted either frozen or had been reheated. Service was just bad he took our order, dropped it off, finally checked back when we were over half way done I wanted more syrup but the waffle was cold by then so didn't bother. He asked if we needed a box then dropped the check with it never bothering to ask if we were ready for it or if we wanted dessert. I took her to Haggen and let her pick out something from the bakery and we ate it at home not much of a celebration out. She's very sweet and didn't say anything but I was very disappointed. read more

A little hard to find initially, but finally the building and found parking and we were quickly seated with a party of 4 for Sunday brunch. Food was good (chicken and waffles for me) and no complaints from anyone else in the group. Service was attentive and friendly. Nothing at all negative to say. read more

Bellingham Coder Company was on our Beer Trail Map and we were right by there when we stopped by Buffalo Exchange. My daughter and I split the chicken sandwich with Truffle Fries, they were FIRE. Highly recommend. Our waitress was brand new but didn't tell us her name. She did a fantastic job! My husband got the Blackberry Ginger Cider and I got the regular mimosa (BECAUSE SUNDAY). We sat outside and enjoyed the amazing bluebird day in Bellingham. read more

Great place with awesome service! Me and my 2 girlfriends came for an awesome brunch this past Saturday. We loved our sever, I wish I caught his name, but he has an awesome Hawaiian shirt. We had mimosas and bloody Mary's to start, the bloody Marg was perfectly spicy! Delicious! I got the chicken and waffles, with bacon on top! It was amazing, with chive butter running all over and a helping of maple syrup on the side. I was only able to finish half as it was so rich! Took the other half home for later. Love this place, as always! read more

Chill vibe, friendly service and great food. I enjoyed the Braised Beef Hash. My only complaint is that it wasn't enough. I mean, it probably was, but it was so good I wanted more. Definitely going back for more :) read more

Quality, fresh, hot food, assortment of cocktails, great service. Tastiest burger I've had in years. Leaving off one star because I froze my arse off. We shouldn't have to wear our coats for dinner. Do something about that front door in the winter. Geesh. Food so good tho, I'll return with longjohns. read more

Made a pitstop here on our way to Vancouver and was pleasantly surprised. Bellingham was a cute town that's worth a stop if you're heading across the border. It was pretty cold for this Socal girl, so I wasn't too interested in exploring the surroundings. Dropped by here for some cider, and was suckered in by their snack menu. The waitress informed us that they don't do sweet ciders, so I just had some sips from our flight. They had a coffee one which was very interesting at first, but I couldn't finish the taster. For snacks, we ended up ordering the pork belly and spaetzle. No idea what spaetzle is, but it reminded me of orzo? The pork belly was amazing though. We got a snack size, so only got two small strips. The belly was a good balance between fatty and lean. But the spiced jam that it came with was definitely the star. Not sure how they made it, but you have to taste it for yourself to know. The place itself is pretty spacious. Lots of families came in as we left, so their dinner menu is probably worth a try. read more

We have eaten at BCC countless times now, and it's always been great food with exciting ciders. They rotate the food and cider menus seasonally, so it's always interesting. One thing I love about BCC is the interesting vegetarian options they include. It's a huge restaurant with a big patio. Chances are high that you will end up on a table with great views. On this visit I ordered the Coconut risotto. It was a delightful meal. According to the server this version of the classic risotto did not have rice, but instead cauliflower mousse for the rice texture. The flavor was interesting, hints of turmeric and basil. Even though it had coconut milk, it was surprisingly light yet satisfying. My friends ordered the grass fed burger, their long standing favorite. They loved it and devoured it as usual ;). read more

Father's day. Party of 6 but the staff reshuffled some tables and were able to seat us. Food was good. A pleasant experience.

Happened to stumble across by accident and was pleasantly surprised. Had brunch and the chicken and waffles were crispy, juicy chicken on a delicious waffle was just what I needed. The braised beef for the hash wasn't quite ready but they offered to do pork belly, which might have been even better. Will definitely go back next time in town. Their patio also had INCREDIBLE views read more

Lovely place for a bite and a cider. It's great when nice to sit on the patio. Service was attentive and food delicious.

I was super excited to come here and was very disappointed. The atmosphere and view is nice. The staff was ok, but not attentive at all. The variety of ciders was limited. We got a flight and they all tasted bland and watered down. Nothing too exciting. We got there for happy hour and the food was meh. Nothing tasted great. I wouldn't recommend nor go back. read more

Pretty setting and a great drink list but the entry and host experience ruined it. Host was sweeping and chewing gum and just seemed uninterested/annoyed by guests. Doesn't help when the old guy/owner? kinda yells at you for not knowing the host station is on the other side of the place from 'that entrance' door. I am guessing the food is good but we were too turned off to order anything but drinks. read more

I can appreciate that this is named Bellingham Cider Company for a reason, but it is misleading because it is so much more. My partner and I had a wonderful meal there, assisted by our helpful, knowledgeable server, Estrella.  My partner, who cannot pass up a French fry, no matter its quality, proclaimed the truffle fries divine. They were. We had a small pork belly which was served with black-pepper infused blackberry jam which melted in our mouths with enough fat to put two pounds on us even though the weight of the belly (it, not ours) was appetizer-sized. The cocktails recommended to us--the Ol' Father In Law (rye, blackberry and gingery) and especially the dramatic smoke cocktail, the Smoke + Oil, which I can't explain, but which "released" for us (smoky it was!) was like a circus act, but a delicious one that paired exquisitely with the fries and the belly. Estrella informed us that the buttermilk brined chicken & brown sugar waffle was an especially popular dish. When the dish arrived, she recommended we take bites of chicken, waffle, sage butter and dip it in the maple syrup for a perfect experience. She was right. We ordered two salads: kale and arugula. Both were incredibly fresh, perfectly dressed and delicious. Our dessert was poached Pink Lady apple, ice cream and granola, which doesn't sound like anything special, but it was. Estrella even found a beautiful cocktail for my partner to pair with it. Bartender's choice we were told, so we don't know what it was, but we trusted her with our taste buds after what she had already done for us.  A hot cider finished all off--wonderful! read more

The food is iiiiiiiiiiiiincredible. Let's start there. We opted for the fries, Brussels sprouts, and a Dungeness crab pasta dish, and yum. Just yum. The fries are good, and probably worth it if you need something lighter (yes, lighter) to absorb the acidity of the cider. Otherwise, stick to the fun stuff. Brussels sprouts are rarely creamy, but I'm not going to complain, as they are a completely underrated vegetable. I'm down. I do like the bacon/balsamic type better, but they weren't bad here. I wouldn't order them again, but not because they weren't good, but because there's just so much more to try. The Dungeness crab pasta is delicious. They could go a little heavier on the arugula and the crab, but it was after 9pm and perhaps they were rationing so they didn't run out. Now for the reason for 3 stars. I am not a huge cider drinker in general, but there were suuuuuuuch amazing reviews, I had to try it. I did get a flight, and yes, they were good. Fine. Nothing to really write home about, honestly. I wanted to like the blackberry ginger cider so much more than I actually did. The surprise standout was the watermelon mint cider, which would have been quite pleasant on those hot and miserable days this past summer. Additionally, service was lackluster, we waited around a lot, and it was CROWDED and loud - and I got bumped a lot. I have a bruise. I wouldn't go back for the cider, but damn. That food. read more

It's almost impossible to find a place to eat in Bellingham, because they are all amazing. But if you really like good sorry I mean great cider. This is without a doubt one of the best. Amazing food and cider(s). I was amazed on the taste of the food and cider. Awesome staff!

Generally there aren't too many cideries out there, so it's always nice to see one among a seat of breweries. Parking here is pretty awful. Not too many free spots in the downtown (Central Business District) core. The nearest I could find is along Holly. The entrance is rather hidden. They need slightly better signage. Other than that one sign tucked away, there's no indicator where the place actually is. My buddy and I walked around a few times before we were able to locate the entrance. Even the entrance (I think it's the front entrance?) looks like the back door to something else. The venue definitely has that modern hipster "converted warehouse" feel. Nice and classy. Staff were friendly. The cider flight here consists of 5 pre-selected types, which takes the guesswork out of the equation. Not everything is pure apple-based here. The flight includes blood orange, perry (pear) cider, and blackberry ginger brews(?) as well. They were all quite good. Probably one of the better ciders I have visited in recent memory. It was interesting watching the bar staff prepare some of the other drinks. They use a mister to deposit a bit of whiskey in some of their mixed beverages. Definitely will be back, though there are so many other breweries to try in the immediate vicinity. Recommended. read more

This is such a great location! The outdoor seating has some spectacular views of the bay, and the staff is very accommodating and friendly! I encourage you to ask the server for recs! We got amazing food and drink recommendations, and all of them were very solid! They let you sample different drinks before you order which was really helpful and let us make the right choice! The pizza was a little disappointing, with almost a cardboard crust, but the crab pasta was delicious. A little overboard on the breadcrumbs, but the flavor was amazing and sitting on the patio was quite a treat! Bring sunglasses in the summer! read more

Maybe a bit of a harsher review than usual but this was teetering on 3 or 4 star and I decided to go 3. The food here is pretty good but it just doesn't wow you. Also I feel the options are quite limited. For brunch you can either have chicken and waffles, a breakfast hash with or without meat, or eggs bene. Not a lot of variety so if none of those strike your fancy then you're SOL. Also I found service to be pretty slow most times I went. Usually took our food a long time to come out, somewhere between 30-60 minutes which felt unreasonable. Large redeeming factor is the ambience is awesome. The wood tables are super cool looking and the colors and back drop fit the vibe of the place very well. Even the bathrooms have a great aesthetic. But at the end of the day the food is what you're there for. Cider was also tasty. Have yet to try dinner so will update when I do. I am now changing my review to 4 stars. It's really not that bad, just need more options and speed. read more

The food and drinks were phenomenal! Easily the best clam chowder I have had in a really long time! They were pretty busy so it took us about 10-15 mins to get our check after we were done eating. On our last trip to Bellingham Steve and I went to two cider places. Bellingham Cider Company proved to be the one that I enjoyed the most. The location is great and you get a great view. We only tried one cider and we wanted something a bit more on the unusual side so we got the Blackberry Ginger cider which was an excellent choice. The cider was very enjoyable with just a small bite of ginger... I could have had a stronger bite actually and the cider was just right in sweetness. Bellingham Cider Company also serves food and seems to be fairly popular for dining since there was a wait to be seated if you wanted a meal. We luckily just wanted to try a cider and be on our way so we got to go to the bar right away without any delay. Service and staff were friendly. I will keep an eye for their future cider selections! read more

GO TRY THE CHICKEN AND WAFFLES. That's it. Once you go and try these, you'll go back again and again and never get anything else. We had a table in the lounge area for an early Sunday dinner. Our server, Riley, was upbeat and prompt, taking good care of us at the right times. With the kitchen close and the bar near, there was some background noise, but this is to be expected in a busy establishment - it's a hopping place. The drinks and appetizers came in short order and food timing was great. I had the Mahi, Mahi on very flavorful cheesy grits and vegetables - done to perfection and slightly spicy - wonderful! One of our guests could not do spice and had a little difficult time with shrimp but everyone else loved their meals. Overall a great experience! read more

We were looking to find a place that we hadn't been before. A little Ggogle search and found Bellingham Cider Company. The location was on the water, it had cider and gluten free options on the menu. Looked good so we drove down to try it out. (4pm) We arrived and parked in the back and entered from what we thought was the entrance but it was shared with the theater company in the same building. BCC was a door to the right of the entrance. We walked in and saw the wait to be seated sign, and we waited. We saw 6 people that were already seated, not busy at all. We had 2 staff members walk by us but with no acknowledgment that we were there. Another staff member walked behind the bar, again no acknowledgment. There is a mirror above the bar and we could see staff in the kitchen area and even saw someone look up at the mirror, and we still waited. Eventually, a 4th staff member came around the corner and asked it we wanted a table and we said , Yes. No greeting, just told that we had to stand at another entrance and he pointed in that direction. We moved to the other entrance and again waited. We couldn't see the original 6 patrons and there was no one in the area we were now in. There were menus on the unattended hostess desk so we pickup up a couple to see what we would like to eat. After a couple of minutes we were then escorted back to the area that we were original standing in with the menus we had picked up in hand. We were given a table in the middle of the room with empty tables all around us. Why not a table at a window so we could see the water outside? The person that sat us turned out to be our waiter. After a few minutes our drink order was taken with no real acknowledgment. That was it for us. We finished our drinks, that were mediocre at best, left, and when somewhere else. There is such potential with this place but is snuffed out by staff that appears to be apathetic to new patrons. Would we go back? Not a chance. read more

I heard that Bellingham Cider Co. was offering bottomless mimosas so as a recovering Southern Californian I had to give it a try! While they don't offer bottomless mimosas (from what I could tell), they do have a mimosa bar and a great brunch menu! I had the traditional eggs benedict, my sister had the steak and eggs, and my mom had the vegetarian scramble. I tried everything and it was all delicious! I think they make the best English muffin I have ever had, honestly. Perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Their hollandaise was great, portions were generous, and the atmosphere is great - soaring ceilings with a beautiful view of the park to look out at! Service was a little slow but overall I would go back. read more

205 Prospect... ------/ They're around the back/------ Get the heck off your couch. Right now. Oh, you're already out? Step on the gas, make a u-turn. Planning for tomorrow? Take an ambien and sleep till then because you have to get in here ASAP! For what? The brown butter spaghetti with Dungeness crab. Holy heck. I've been in Bellingham for many many years and seriously this dish is ridiculous. Off the chain. Bananas. (Insert your favorite saying here.) I don't know where to start, the perfectly cooked noodles, the lumps (like big chunks) of Dungeness, or maybe the syrupy thick browned butter. There's a secret to hitting every single spot on your palate and I think they have it locked down. But... you're looking for cider? Okay, that's good, they have a wide selection of flavors you've never thought of... ginger blackberry, piña colada, strawberry lemonade. But the best, is the Primal Coffee cider. It's sort of wtf to think about apple cider and coffee, but it's crazy good. Coffee in the front, cider at the end. And it smells amazing! I may or may not have bought a growler to have for breakfast (don't tell my boss.) Alas, we have dessert. We tried the creme brûlée and the flourless chocolate cake. The cake was grand. It was fluffy, airy, and decadent like a brownie. Topped with fresh whipped cream and slivered almonds. I highly recommend! (Pairs well with the Coffee Cider) ;-) Five stars. Easy peasy. We'll be back. Can't wait to try brunch! read more
