It's definitely a small town feel restaurant but tasty food. Nice size menu, want overwhelmed with too many options. Clean establishment with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Waitress was kind and informative. Food came out fresh and presented well. My Ruben was very good and I love the toasted bread. Shrimp was cooked perfectly. Sweet potato fries were delicious as well. Nice downtown location for a good quick bite.

Came here for breakfast and had to get their giant pannenkoeken - I'm talking giant! So big it is served on a pizza tray. Pick your topping or go plain and simple with syrup like I did; it certainly makes for a unique breakfast you don't find too many other places. Interior is spacious and western-themed; kitschy but fun. Staff is very friendly. Parking - street

Absolutely great breakfast Corned Beef hash plate. Monica sat me as soon as I walked in. Corned beef is indeed "home made" and plenty of meat. I'd order hash browns a little more crispy next time.

A little goes a long way but is good on everything!!

I have written a review for Rustlers previously. Had a good time. Was home searching then and liked it here. Well now I'm officially a resident and Rustlers is our go to place. They have any thing you could want... a big meal or a small snack. A glass of wine or a cold beer. Everyone is so friendly. This last trip was for a big bowl of their Dutch Meatball soup. I swear this stuff cured my sinusitis. LOL. So happy to live so close and have a place to hang. Looking forward to many more visits! My husband raves about the chicken fried steak! I also love their tacos!!!

The food here is always top notch but the service today was out of this world, I watched our server create a beautiful ambiance and treat everyone with kindness and respect!!! She was fast and cheerful and we adored her she even wrote thank you on our recipe. These are the little things that make a restaurant epic!!!!

HALF the Parmesan from a Cesar salad.

We each ordered salads for our evening meal. He had steak on his and I had grilled chicken Cesar. His was fine but I was unpleasantly shocked by how I had to literally search for the lettuce in mine. They put at least a quarter of a pound of sliced Parmesan cheese. I ate half the cheese but put the rest on the edge of my plate. In stead of "where's the Beef", I was wondering, "where's the lettuce". Plus, the Cesar dressing was not good at all. Very disappointing.

What an interesting place! It's located at a perfect spot in Lynden, and the inside is very campy and cute. Definitely a great place for family, and the prices were also good as someone eating with only one other person! My fish and fries were great, I especially appreciated the homefry feel of them. The zickles (fried pickles with a spicy sauce) were an awesome appetizer that I couldn't get enough of. My mom had her taco salad turned into a wrap with a side of dutch meatball soup, and enjoyed both! If you're looking for well priced, filling food while in downtown Lynden, especially if you have a large group, I recommend!

Today I stopped in and got a breakfast (Farmers) hand pie, an Irish cream coffee, and a white chocolate raspberry scone. I'm so disappointed. The handpie was not even half filled, the very nice young lady nuked it in the microwave to an inch of its life. It was dry, hard as a rock and the small amount of filling was not worth the price. I only ate half as the crust was too hard to bite into. So then still hungry I tried the scone. Even worse. A glutinous blob of no flavor. The size and texture of a hockey puck. I realized too late the the bottom was also burnt. I threw it away. The coffee was ok, but way overly sweet. I wish so bad I could give good stars but I spent $23 and all I got was a mildly ok coffee.

A local favorite, a little bit off the beaten path, but worse looking for it. Very friendly and timely service, really good food, and a great menu that everybody will find something on that they like. If you're vegan, that last comment may be inaccurate ;-). You gotta try the milkshakes, this reminds me of what I was used to growing up at some of the great family restaurants in the 1970s. Outstanding! The interior of the restaurant is decorated with an eclectic Western theme and your eyes will never get tired of looking for all the details. Our granddaughter loved it! And so did the grandparents and my dad. We'll be back.

The horse radish was pretty generic and didn't have any "punch" to it. The Caesar salad lettuce was a bit wilted and too much dressing. The loaded baked potato was okay. My son enjoyed his clam chowder. The pot pie was rather small for $20! It was not enjoyed. Unfortunately, a frozen Marie Calendars is better. Two people ordered this and didn't eat them all. Salad bar is pretty underwhelming. The star here is the peanut butter chocolate shake! Yum! Service was attentive and friendly. Parking: Quite a few spots that go all the way around the building, but was a bit full on a Friday night.
