I would steer clear of Bellhops for moving. The guys were on time and both of them were very good people and nice. Unfortunately, that's the only positive things I have for this experience. I was dumbfounded, especially since they have up to 26' trucks and they sent a 16' truck for a 4 bedroom house and I listed everything that needed to be moved. I called Bellhops and was told my only option was to have them come back and get the rest of the items but they would have to charge me for the extra trip. I stated that's not acceptable as I was clear what I needed. The lady on the phone offered to give me a 20% discount, which wouldn't cover the extra time. I said that is fine but I still needed someone to call me back the next day as she stated her manager was at a funereal and there were no other managers available. I moved all of my items in a 10x15' 1st floor storage unit. It took 2 1/2 hours to move into the unit, with 3 additional large dollies to move. When it was time to checkout, the 20% discount I was told on the phone I would get, was not applied and what should have easily been a 4 hour move, took 6 hours. I emailed the company and let them know, which they reached out the next morning and after telling them my experience, I have yet to hear back from them which tells me how they feel about me as a client and my experience. read more

Awesome! Used a Pod for my move. I booked a few Bellhops to come over and load all the heavy items into the pod for me. Best thing about the experience was the communication and process. I booked two Bellhops and within an hour of booking I received an email with the Bellhops that were going to be doing my move. I had a TCU football player and an Engineer student from TCC. All of their Bellhops are college students. In the email I saw pictures of the guys and knew their majors and school clubs they were in. Felt like I knew the guys prior to them arriving. Also I booked less than 24 hours in advance and no problem accommodating. Also.. when you book you put in your credit card info. There's a $20 deposit refundable at anytime... it comes off the total at the end. The guys showed up and clocked in on their smart phones when they started the move. Once done they clocked out. I received a text with a link and it showed the times they logged. Once I confirmed the times on my phone then it charged my card. Cool that you don't pay until they know you're happy with what just happened. Craziest part of all... When you confirm the time you also rank the guys. They did great so I gave them a good rating. I received a personal thank you video from a guy at the Bellhop corporate office thanking me for the quality feedback. I've used moving companies in the past and this was a completely different experience. Pretty impressed. read more

Making a move from Idaho to Texas is rough. When my mom and I made it to my new apartment we quickly realized it would be near impossible for the two of us to move my 180-200 pound Tempur-pedic bed as well as two large couches up a crooked stairway. So we hired Bellhops last minute to move "two couches and a bed" who sent two college boys over first thing the next morning. They went above and beyond for us. Not only did they unload our 5x8 trailer completely but as soon as they found out I also had a storage unit, they offered to help move stuff from point A to my apartment and then unload it. They were super careful with our stuff and very quick. In addition, their attitudes were great. It was hot and humid but they never complained once and even offered my mom and I water when we were standing to the side while they did all the work. Afterwards they offered to help unpack and take our boxes to recycling. My mom and I weren't planning in unpacking yet so we declined but hey, it's the thought that counts! We were extremely happy! Given the late notice and great service, we were quite satisfied with the price. Definitely worth it. read more

The two bellhops, Benjamin and Tom, were professional and courteous throughout the moving. They were very careful with my belongings and the driver drove at an appropriate pace. None of my materials were damaged. Everything was done within the time allotted. At the end, I asked them if they could move beds and bed frames to another room to which they say yes. They never said no to any of my requests, very polite. I felt very comfortable. Bellhops offered a great quote compared to other companies, and they called me a day in advance to see if there was any tools they needed to bring with them, as well as checked in the day of the move to let me know they we ready to go. Both movers were careful with all items while being efficient to say the least. Tristan and Eli did a very nice job. They were polite, professional, and appeared to take care of our stuff. The only improvement we would recommend is to use more pads/blankets when utilizing the dolly as we saw an item get a little scuffed. The driver was also extremely polite and professional.
