We saw the sign for the brewery in the back of the lobby, went in an it seemed closed but there was a big set of stairs heading down. We went downstairs and found a bar that leads out to the patio, completely open and so cute overlooking a nice fountain and great green views. The bar had a food menu too, and two pool tables although they were in rough shape. The bartenders were attentive and nice, giving their recommendations. We had the wagyu burger and truffle fries and the chips trio. The burger and fries were so good, but the chips were very oily and many were soft and not crunchy. I tried one of their cocktails, the first one with the strawberry puree and lemon, and they let me swap the vodka for tequila. It was sweet and yummy. A great little spot to take a date in between plans for sure

Outside patio has decent shade by the little pond thing and lounge chairs to sit in. Our pup was also allowed to hangout there as well. Staff was short that day and the manager let us know, which was no problem. We ordered 3 dishes: fish tacos, pulled pork sandwich and a poke bowl. After waiting 45-50 minutes, which again I know due to short staffing, we were utterly disappointed in what we received. The tacos looked like they were microwaved along with the beans. I didn't get a pic of the pulled pork but was probably like a quarter cup total of some meat and sauce on a McD looking bun. The poke bowl was majority rice. For a bill that ended up coming out to about $80 (had also 2 diet cokes and a beer), this was quite a slap in the face. You're better off going elsewhere for your money.

Despite the current ratings of less than 4 stars, I somehow was determined that this place would not disappoint. And my hunch was right; it didn't. We did make a reservation ahead of time. Upon arriving, we were asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside to which we said inside (for a mid-October evening, the temperature outside was decent and yet we weren't sure about sitting outside the whole time. We made the right call. Occasionally the cool breeze came in from the side door at the bar (as it was left open; they said once closed it locks so it would inconvenience the people out in the open deck area to leisurely come in) and it felt a bit cold to our liking.) Inside was lively. The beautiful modern-looking lounge was filled with all kinds of chitchat by other guests. Our conversation was sometimes canceled by it where we had to talk into our ears but we certainly didn't mind it. Yes, the ambiance is what you come here for. He got the Juicy Bits IPA and I got the French red blend (Grenache and Cote du Rhone). We browsed the food section in the menu. Some looked interesting but we ended up not ordering anything as even though we ate lightly at the first restaurant we were still quite full from it. Our waiter (young male, I believe his name was Payton) was busting his bottom. When he was at our table taking our order he said he was pretty much the only one who was assisting with the guests in the main indoor area. He occasionally got help from his colleague. It appeared to be an understaffed night. We completely understood. Payton, you were pleasant to us; thank you. We truly enjoyed our drinks. FYI - Juicy Bits IPA is not on tap so even though they poured it into a glass the server couldn't pour everything into it so he brought the can as well (btw, it's a 16oz can.) As much as I enjoyed my bold red wine his IPA stole the spotlight at our table. He is a beer guy and he couldn't help but taking a photo of the can for future purposes/purchase. Juicy Bits is a local craft beer made in Greeley. Quite refreshing beer indeed. Well, we sat in our comfy couch for an extended period of time from 6:30 to 9pm. We both stepped outside to the open deck area for a quick view earlier in our dining experience. And we must say that this is one of the best rooftop restaurants we've been to in the Denver area. We shall be back.

Ordering was electronic, everything came out incredibly fast, and most importantly, the food and drinks were delicious. I also really appreciated the family-friendly and pet-friendly environment. My daughter has dogs, and I'm allergic, so when I visit her in Colorado I don't get to spend time at her house. But at the same time, I feel bad if we're out all day/night and her dogs are left home alone. Finding places that are dog-friendly (but outdoors) where I can keep a comfortable distance from pet hair and dander is the perfect compromise for us. Each visit, we're always on the lookout for places like this, and I'm so glad we finally tried Denver Beer Co. It checked all the boxes and made our time together that much more enjoyable... and the dogs loved all of the pets they got from the other customers! We'll definitely be back on future visits.

They're definitely still ironing out some processes as the wheels get turning again- but it is very visible the owners are working hard to regain trust and loyalty from customers. Menu was short- but it will grow soon. You MUST try the fried chicken sandwich. That butter bun and fried chicken thigh are delicious. The adult tatter tots weren't exactly what I expected... my run club friends said they used to be bigger? I personally wasn't for the cheese sauce used, but my husband thought it was okay. First off ~ shoutout to Cole, who was an excellent server. Attentive without hovering, knowledgeable about both the food and beer menu, and genuinely welcoming. Service like that always elevates the experience. It was also great seeing Chris back as the new manager. You can already feel the positive shift. The small changes he's implementing are noticeable, and it's clear he has a strong vision that aligns perfectly with the brewers and the direction of the space. The atmosphere feels refreshed, optimistic, and dialed in ~ exactly what this spot needed. Now let's talk food, because Spice Trade continues to impress beyond typical brewery fare. The tandoori wings were packed with flavor ~ perfectly cooked with a great spice balance (I went medium heat, which had just the right kick without overpowering the seasoning). The jalapeño garlic naan was another standout: warm, soft, and loaded with flavor. Honestly, these dishes alone make it worth coming in hungry. The menu has some seriously strong options, and I'm already planning a return visit to explore more ~ especially paired with some of the newer beers. The cucumber lemon sour sounds like it's going to be a perfect match for patio season. Spice Trade feels like a brewery finding its momentum again: great food, creative beers, strong leadership, and a team that clearly cares about the guest experience. Excited to see where things go next ~ and I'll definitely be back soon.

Our bartenders were great, despite the large crowds of folks. Kudos to being fast and efficient when there's always a line - and I mean a long line, lol. And here's the thing, even if you've never experienced what I experienced, this place is going to annoy you on its own merits. The arcade is a disaster. They're running a bootlegged championship edition of Street Fighter... which, fine, whatever. But NOT ONE game I touched had working joysticks. Mortal Kombat? Dead. Street Fighter? Dead. The Simpsons? Dead. I mean, if you're going to be an arcade bar, maybe... maintain the damn arcade? the old fashioned tasted fine cubes like a 7-Eleven, not the big rock you'd expect from a bar charging those prices. Details matter, people. The place was pretty packed, which tells you everything you need to know about Greenwood Village... they're just desperate for options out there.
