Honestly I would've recommended this business to anybody because the service is good and the vibe is good. When I got my nails finished I quietly but after I told them that I didn't like my nails could they do something it was a big issue I didn't even ask for a refund I just wanted them to fix my nails the shape was droopy and the powder was uneven. I've been a few times to this spa, the location is very convenient. I will never go back because 1st they have a bunch of employees that are very loud and with no manners (using profanity and plain vulgar) 2nd the prices are high for the service you get! I always get fast and lame massages, they are in such a rush "always" and not once they have put top coat on my nails "unless" I keep an eye and ask them, "they will leave without applying too coat)! The "dip nails" every-time I go they do my dip nails while getting a pedicure (THEY ALWAYS CRACK AFTER COUPLE OF DAYS) and they look bumpy. Also with the electric grill they file too much around the cuticle that 1 burns 2 the nails look like they need refill after a couple of days! They're very overpriced and their work does not match their prices. I asked for a pedicure with gel polish and she literally put too much polish on it it looked a mess. Then I asked for a overlay refill she proceeded to take my nails off and charge me for that. Then she charged me for a whole new overlay set when I clearly asked for a refill. She rushed my nails & when I realized I requested that they be done over all of them. She did them again and blamed it on the dryers not working or whatever it looked a mess still after being there for almost 3 hours i just left. I got home & took a shower & when I got out the gel on my nails had bubbled up. So, the next day I went back and waited 2 hours for them to fix my nails & toes. This post is truly about the lack of customer service and accommodation. I've been going to Bellagio over a year, maybe a little longer and the dip polish set started cracking a week after application. No biggie, called them about it, went in and showed them and set an appointment to have them fixed within their policy period of 7 days. I walk in for my appointment, "oh she's doing another appointment right now, that appointment didn't show up on time and she has pedicure and nails." I told her that wasn't my fault, i made an appointment and was actually 15 minutes early. Long story short, they did not accommodate me for my appointment, the tech is going on vacation for the 4th and I'm left with jacked up nails. Every 3-4 weeks that I go I spent $100-$150 including tip for their services. Bellagio won't be getting my business anymore. read more

Great clean salon and spa. They offer everything! The staff is super! My nails look great! They do a great job, best salon I have been to in Slidell. It is a little more expensive but they use quality products and have a great section of gel polish! Avery was so sweet and made sure I was taken care of and happy! This was such a wonderful experience that this will stay my salon in Slidell:) I had another manicure with Gel and I wasn't happy with it, it was quickly and nicely redone. I stopped by because my mom raves about this place. I must admit, the CBD spa pedicure is the truth. It comes with a neck and shoulder massage. The only negative thing O can honestly say about my experience, is the fact that my massage wasn't as long as what it was supposed to be for. She gave me a good rub down, but it was for a legit 5 minutes. I'd stop by again, only reason I didn't trip about it was because they were closing early because of the storm. So I brought a picture of what I wanted. Was suppose to be pink into white ombré. Ombré is more money. When I asked why there wasn't pink they admitted to using the wrong dip powder. I was still charged for the ombré, $78 + tip for ombré dip and just French paint on my toes (no pedicure) because I was short on time. They offered to fix them but said it'd be another 20 minutes to fix. I had a sitter watching my kids so I was unable to devote anymore time after already being there for 2 hrs. Disappointing experience. To begin, I did "walk in" on a Saturday w/o an appointment, so that partially added to the chaotic experience. I walked in after 1 woman and her little girl and waited in line to get checked in. Because the woman in front of me stated she had others joining her, 2 of her friends w/ little girls who came in after me were allowed in front of me by the hostess to be checked. I kept calm bc they may all have had appointments and I didn't want to make a scene. However, if they did not have an appointment, 4 people were placed ahead of me. I asked the hostess how long it would take for a regular polish pedi & gel mani, she said 10 to 15 minutes, which I was surprised seeing how busy they were. They immediately sat me in a pedi chair & I proceeded to wait 25 minutes. I actually took my feet out of the water bc it was becoming uncomfortable. During my wait, I was given the gel polish swatches to look at & twice the color I picked out did not have the matching regular formula for my toes. After choosing my third color, a red, a little boy brought me back blue. At this point I proceeded to put on my shoes & leave, just as a woman came over to start my pedi. I asked the woman to please give me the color swatches again, and not start my pedi bc I wanted to make sure the color I picked was available in both formulas. The owner came over to me w/ the book & I explained what had happened. She then told me that 338 was the color I wanted, not 336 and that I had gotten the number wrong, even though the number read "336"; part of the 8 had rubbed off making the last digit look like a 6. Excuse me, but it is not my responsibility to try to interpret rubbed off numbers, maybe make sure your swatches are correctly labeled. She then explained that the little boy was a friend of hers and was helping out. I never blamed the little boy, who looked to be around 10-12 years old. He shouldn't be in a position of working or "helping" out in a busy salon on a weekend. Eventually, they came back w/ my color & confirmed that it was available in both formulas. Pedicure was exactly as you expect, no frills there, but I also didn't pay the extra cash to get frills. I also got a full set of dipped acrylic nails. Which was $5 more than I'm used to paying (at a comparable salon) which was fine (I guess). However, it's extra if you want ANYTHING else. Want to keep them a little long? $5. Want that cute shape? $5 One nail different color/design? $5+ They even have nice little signs all over for the "extra services" you can add on... extra massage $12... etc. While I understand that it's perfectly acceptable to pay for extra services... but to file my nail into a different shape? Really? When you'll already be filing them anyway? And it wasn't even done right!! I still went home and filed them myself into the shape I wanted. My friends and I went to this nail salon at around 6:20 ten minutes before they closed. They were rushing us and very rude. They were not gentle and cut her cuticle then proceeded to use nail polish remover on her open wound. She did the French tip horrible. It is not clear how it is supposed to be and she did not clean up the edges at all. There's acrylic on her fingers and nail polish , very unprofessional. My point is if they did not want to take customers they could have just said so when we walked in the door instead of doing a half ass job like this. read more

I came here on a whim because I was at the mall and am new to the area so I decided why not. Upon entering the girl was very welcoming and had got me set up for a pedicure. When I sat down the water in the tub was cold and she didn't check or ask if it was ok. We decided on a color because I was between two and she started. The regular pedicure isn't bad, there was just things that were off putting. They seated me right by the door so when people came in it was crowded. The girl next to me was also getting her nails done as they did her toes. I understand it saves time, but mind you there were 3 customers. They charge you for scraping dead skin off your feet (which I've never experienced) and when she went to paint my toes did not use a toe separator. This creates likelihood for smudging. Right after she was done she rushed me to pay and I wasn't offered a place to sit and let them dry. After I left I realized that she painted my toes the wrong color. I will not be back. read more

The most ghetto nail salon I have ever been to, and it's the employees. They are so loud, like yelling to talk. You would think because everyone else or music is loud but no, they are the only ones just loud! I used to love Bellagio, especially when it first opened. My last visit was Feb 28, 2021, after praising to my friend how great of a nail spa it is; my sister, friend and I went for a "mommy spa time." Well not only did they make a fool of me but my nail tech was horrible. I used to go all the time for self care and maintenance, seemed like monthly (pre-COVID); I'm a member of their rewards program too. They have really gone downhill, my nails were horrible. I wanted the old fashioned, painted nails so i picked out a beautiful nail liqueur, needless to say, there was polish left on my skin, bubbles on my nails, and $50+ wasted because of a careless, rude nail tech. My sister and friend had complains too. The mani & pedi I wanted was classic and came with a 5 min massage, she had an hour glass timer, she stopped before it was done and basically just rubbed lotion on my feet, hands, arms and legs, there was no massaging at all! I had an adequate pedicure although $35 seems a little steep for "adequate." The lady did a solid job, but nothing to write home about. The polish selection (for regular non-gel) was limited and old bottles (I couldn't get one to open). I told the lady to only do calous remival on tops and bottoms and she proceeds to scrape the bottom of my foot. Lastly, I'm not sure what the hour glass is for. Nail stylists each had one for all pedicures; it seems like they are for the massage to keep a strict five minute time limit. But, it felt a bit insulting. This place exuded relaxation. Every time I'm in the Slidell area I will be coming here. One thing that I don't like is that they are very pricey and they nickel and dime everything, everything is an up charge or can be added for a fee. When I arrived I signed in on a HUGE iPad and even though it was packed, I was called for my services within 5 minutes. I sat in the pedicure chair for about 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. Run away, run far away -- unless of course, you're a masochist, then this is your place! When you walk in the door you are (eventually, when she gets bored with whatever she's doing) greeted by the drill sargent. She barks orders at you and then promises you a birthday benefit if you sign on to their ridiculous little card system. Once you've been ordered to get in your chair, the pedicurist will do an okay job, sometimes even better than okay. But part way into your pedicure a creepy woman will come by and take your $200 shoes and throw them half way across the store. In case you're wondering, this does wonders for your shoes. I'm a slow learner and tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt, so I showed up on my birthday and asked the drill sargent about that birthday benefit. She was not pleased, but took a moment of her valuable time to inform me they were out of cards (whatever that means), too bad, so sad. Bottom line -- the people who do the actual pedicures are nice and do a good job. I typically get gel nails, but during my last visit, I tried the powder dip nails. They looked beautiful, but a week later they started cracking underneath the top layer. I've been here maybe 3 times in the past few years--mostly out of desperation (I'm usually only free Sunday and they're one of the only places open until 6 on Sunday. Every time is disappointing. Customer service is nice enough but at these prices when I pay for a foot massage I expect a real massage. Otherwise I could just change my own polish color. Even when I think it might be better with one of the male staff--nope, the weakest, limpets leg massage. Love this place as far as nails and the nail techs but the newer receptionist is by far one of the rudest people I have ever encountered. Would not listened to any questions up front, just kept pushing for me and my guest to sit down. I asked where to look for colors and her demeanor was as if she could not be bothered with questions. She told me she would bring the colors to my seat to choose from. Once seated never brought the colors to me. The nail tech did when they got to me. The nail tech had to ask her multiple times to bring supplies to the table to soak off my old nails. Towards the end of getting my nails done I felt like I was choking and asked for water and she walked away to the other side of the store doing something with the polishes completely disregarding the request until the nail teach asked again to bring me some water. When she brought the water she basically tossed/ dropped it to me rather than handing me the bottle of water. She did the same thing when checking out with our credit cards, snatched from us and tossed / dropped back to us. As I was leaving I witnessed her yelling and arguing with other staff. Very unprofessional and very rude. The date of my service was Nov 16. On the bright side the nail techs that did my nails and my friends nails were fantastic. TL;DR This review is the culmination of about a dozen visits to this salon. Overall, my opinion is to just find somewhere else. The place is very nice, but the combination of a perpetually long wait, constant short staffing, subpar work, and honestly terrible customer service means it just isn't worth it no matter how nice the building looks. Background: I just started getting manicures and pedicures last year with my sister, so I haven't had many salon visits to compare this place to. I've always felt it wasn't great service and my nails didn't come out as well as I would hope, but again didn't have much to compare to. We tried a different salon for our last pedicures and they weren't that good so when we decided to get manis/pedis a few days ago we just went with Bellagio because it's what we know. The next day I texted my sister that my nails looked terrible and I was going to find us a different salon. So here I am on Yelp, researching new nail salons, and realized I haven't written a review of this place yet. So here it is. Staff: Hit or miss. Some are really nice and friendly, and others will treat you like trash if you even suggest that you want something changed or fixed. If you try to get them to do something different or express unhappiness, you will either get completely ignored (usually) or have an aggressive attitude to deal with. And don't even try going to the manager, I've seen her berate customers before so I know she isn't the best "customer service" person. Wait: It's always a long wait. I don't know if they need more staff or what, but they are forever running around and switching out workers. You may have 2 or 3 different people working on your manicure, and they don't communicate with one another. Someone will come up, say something to the person working on your nails, that person will get up and walk away, and the first person sits down and asks what needs to be done. Why?? Just have the original person finish! Or at least talk to one another. And don't get too excited if you're seated within a few minutes. It just means you'll have to sit in the chair for up to an hour while your water gets cold and not a single person acknowledges you. Nails: Every time I've left here I'm underwhelmed. For some reason they ALWAYS jack up my cuticles. And most of the time I wind up being cut. If it hurts, they're not cutting properly. I've left with bubbled polish, nicked polish, uneven edges, etc. But lord help you if you try to say you're unhappy (they'll say it's fine and act like you're an idiot). There were three of us on our most recent visit. We sat together for the pedicures, but weren't worked on together. My sister got started, then about twenty minutes later I got started, and then when my sister and I had gotten about five minutes into our manicures, our friend got started. After her pedicure was done they sat her somewhere else completely. We mentioned to our nail techs that we'd like to sit together, but got literally no response. There was an empty seat beside me, I don't see why she couldn't sit with us. I also got to see them fall all over the regulars, waiting on them hand and foot while everyone else just sat and waited. Regulars were brought right in, techs taken from people they were working on to go work on the regulars while we sat there with half finished nails, everyone else basically ignored. I completely agree with treating your regulars well, but not at the expense of your other customers. I may not be known by name there, but we go fairly regularly and I wasn't happy with being tossed aside and ignored. Afterwards, we all commented on how terrible our nails were. My sister got a French manicure and her nails were bumpy, textured, and uneven. But she tried to mention it and her concerns brushed away. My cuticles (again) are completely jacked up, I have nicks on my fingers, and my polish is bubbly and the edges uneven. Overall, I'm never coming back. It's just not worth it. I've tried giving them multiple chances and thought maybe I was just expecting too much. But if I'm coming in and dropping that kind of money, I don't want my nails to look like I've done them myself. read more
