I've always got very good nails here, out of all the places i have been in covington la they have always given me a smooth base when applying and execute what i ask for perfectly. I've been going here 10+ years. Best nail salon on the Northshore. I make the drive! Their team is incredible. Lee's training program is top notch. They are very thorough and will spend the time to make every customer's services perfect. Fully staffed team every time I go in there. They don't skimp on the massages or polish coats. Prices are very fair for the quality-same services are double at other salons. Appointments are honored, but walkins are also treated quickly. Management stays on top of rotations in timely manner. Bad first!!! I went here yesterday! Been going for years! But I got a manicure for the first time and was about to leave with ashy hands! So while he was on his phone I reached over and put lotion on my hands! He didn't clean my cuticles well just rushed and put on clear polish! I got a pedicure also which he did a great job! He was annoyed I guess because I didnt want my usual dip! I'm trying to give my nails a rest but I'll just go somewhere else for my manicure! read more

Came in 2 weeks ago and requested a dip mani. They charged extra to push up my cuticles and file my nails before beginning the dip process. Then, the girl basically did my nails twice! She did the whole process down to smoothing and shaping my nail... in the clear dip. THEN she did the whole process AGAIN in the navy! I have no idea why...I've been getting dip manis for years and it has never been done like that. Took an An hour and a half!!!!! Then, they charged me $65. The MOST expensive dip I've ever had done anywhere and I have been to Vivi's probably more than any other place the last 5 years. I will not be back. I don't know what is going on but this place when down the drain. $65 wasted. They began popping off at 2 weeks. Normally last a month! read more

3 different people worked on my nails. When shaving off old dip powder it was flying everywhere and hitting me in the face. They hurt me several times and even cut me. Very little color selection variety. $50 and the guy cashing me out didn't even seem to know what to charge me as he had to think about it for a long time. A few days later a nail breaks in half. I go back and get it fixed. Then 5 days later two more nails break. $50 and 3 nails broken within one week. Will not be returning. read more

Vivi's is definitely my go-to nail place. As someone who loves getting their nails done, I always make sure I go somewhere so they can be done right. I've been to a few different places, but after I went to Vivi's, I never looked back. They are so warm and friendly. They have soda and water for their customers, and they always are making sure their customers are happy. When I get my nails done there, they stay on forever and still look good! Their prices are very reasonable and they definitely are worth it! They are also very on top of their schedule, I usually call before to make sure they have room, and while they almost always do, when the don't, they give me a time right away to where they have availability and I've never had an issue with them before. If you want some really nice nails I definitely recommend Vivi's for an amazing experience and for that amazing feeling of confidence after getting your nails done exactly how you wanted them! read more

My mother my grandma and I came here to get our nails done for our girls day. My grandma got her toenails done and when we were leaving one of the staff was sitting by my grandma was taking pictures with her phone of my grandmas feet. then she started recording her feet and her face without her knowing. My mom finally stepped in and says something to the lady but when she did she lied and said she didn't know how to use her phone even though I clearly saw her pointing her phone at my grandma. There's a difference between asking to take a picture of her toes that she had gotten painted and taking sneaky pictures and videos of her without asking!! This used to be my favorite place to get my nails done. But after this I will never step my foot in that nail salon again... read more

Hands down my favorite nail salon in town! I tried almost all of them in the area when I first moved to the Northshore. Viv's is the winner! I've had almost every technician there and they are all super sweet! Prices are good too! Only downside is since they are so good that they are usually pretty busy, sometimes there is a bit of a wait. read more

Some of the people performing services are NOT licensed. I got an injury to my cuticle during a pedicure where the girl cut me several times. I have been going there for several years without incident, but now they are so busy their standards are compromised. Also, the pedi chairs are uncomfortable and the wait can be long. read more

The first time I went to Vivi's for a pedicure it was phenomenal. I was pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail, the quality of the leg and foot massage, and the hot stone and oil massage on the soles of my feet. Today I had the saddest pedicure of my life. It was rushed and my feet were not allowed to soak at all through the process, cuticle cutting was skipped, leg and foot massage was skipped, she painted my toenails before the lukewarm towels were left on my legs for barely any time, and then the dry stone was half-heartedly rubbed across the balls of my feet. The only positive is the polish job. I would rather visit a salon that is consistently okay than one that is amazing one day and awful the next. After this experience I won't be back. read more

I am a new customer..the man that did my nails reeked of cigarettes.. while he did my powder dip, I asked if he could fix a crooked nail and he had an attitude about it.. my nails came out alright but not what I wanted. That's fine.. what's not fine is the same man took my card so I could pay. I tipped him and he grabbed the receipt out my hand and scratched my tip out with the pen!! This is hands down my favorite nail salon in the area. I've been to them all and Vivi's has never disappointed me!! They have wonderful nail technicians who really take their time to ensure your nails look great. I usually get the gel and every time I go to this salon I can not find a flaw. Every other place I've been the polish has been uneven or they've trimmed my cuticles down so much that I would be in pain for days. Never have that at Vivi's! I can't even comment on the manicure itself, because after over an hour of ZERO acknowledgement from the staff, I left. I walked in and there were two people getting manicures and another woman picking out a shade while she waited. I stood at the podium for about 30 seconds waiting for any acknowledgement at all, even a "hey, we'll be with you when we can." Nothing. Not even a "hi." Literally nothing. So I decided to look at the polishes while I waited. Five minutes later, I had decided on my color and been waiting for anybody to speak to me. I looked at the time and was about to walk out when a man stood up and pointed at me and said "what are you here for?" I told him a manicure, and he looked at the lady who was also waiting and told her at least an hour. Then he turned back to me and I told him if it would be more than an hour I'd just go. He said no, it'll be less for me because she wanted a pedicure as well. Okay, that doesn't seem right, but whatever. So I asked, "less than an hour?" And he said yes and told me to go sit at booth eight. I sat at that booth for over an hour without a single word said to me by any employees. After 75 minutes of sitting there, the lady in front of me hadn't been acknowledged or started on either, so I walked out. Had anybody even acknowledged our wait or said anything to us or made me feel welcomed in the slightest, I may have stayed. But for me to be somewhere over an hour and a half total and the only thing said to me a rude "what do you want?" is unacceptable. I came here because of the good reviews, but I don't know where they went because this place is severely lacking in customer service. Will never return and will make sure I never recommend. I live in Slidell but all the way to Covington to get my nails done here. They are the BEST! All the employees are great. Super clean. Sometimes you have to wait but if you want fast, go any where else. They take their time so your nails look great. It's called quality. Not quantity. read more

first of all when i went they told me it would be $24 for an acrylic set, but with out notice they charged me an additional $5 for getting coffin shape... with out telling me before hand. and when i told my friend about it she said they did the same thing, but only charged her an extra $2 and not $5 like mine. then only 3 days later i put on my shoe and a nail snapped. now it's been only 6 days and i noticed the top coat peeling and now all the nails are cracking at where my real nail ends and i have to take them off. very displeased and i will not go back. read more
