I came here on a Saturday morning at 11:30, was greeted with a friendly smile and promptly seated at a pedicure massage chair while the water was already filling the foot bath. I chose my polish from their large selection. The service was clean, thorough, and I love the results. Okay so . I heard laughter about my toes from the Owner. I asked for square left with uneven nails. I kept telling telling the technician MY TOES ARENT EVEN but she insisted they were even . I payed 20 dollars in tip and she still tried to charge me with extra for the 10$ tips that she could've deducted from her TIP. They didn't even put location on my feet after filing WHICH LEFT MY FEET ASHY and I had went for a full service pedicure almond message. So why is my feel ashy when I leave , I don't know. read more

Well my mother goes here to get her nails done 24/7 so obviously I'm going to trust her opinion and where she goes. However this was not the case. They completely jacked up my fingernails. Cuticles were never pushed back and the dip got all over them, the side of my nails were not fully covered with the dip, they're extremely thick, and not even the shape that I asked for. The nails aren't even cut the same lengths like wtf. THE WORST PLACE IVE EVER GOTTEN MY NAILS DONE AT!!!! The only thing they did right were my toes. read more

Great Nail salon on the Northshore! There are so many to choose from, I usually just pick blindly, hoping Ill have a good experience, but Nail Lounge has twice exceeded my expectations, so I thought I'd give them a little review. I am greeted with a smile each time I walk in and always feel accommodated. They have a wide variety of colors to choose from and also have a very clean and contemporary style of decor. Anne is one of the owners and also has a Nail salon on the Westbank. She did my pedicure and it was AMAZING! She is a very talented painter and nail tech. Also, my foot massage was fantastic and she took about 6 or so minutes massaging each foot and leg, compared to the 30 seconds they usually give you. Overall, very pleased and will be returning to this place every time from here out. read more

Zero is not an option so I am giving them a 1!!!!!! My daughter and sister came in for a full set and these nails were all jacked up. They looked like large teeth on her fingers. I was absolutely appalled at the way they looked and they let my baby walk out looking a plum mess. And we didn't even get our money back. The pedicure lady was even trying to take off gel polish with a regular nail file. Do not even give this place a thought even if your regular salon is closed, wait!!! Not sure that I will be back here. The person that I was lucky enough to get service from was not good. She dug and the corner of my big toe nail with cuticle clippers instead of the cuticle pusher. It still hurts. All that digging left nothing but pain, all the old skin was still there at the end. When she should have used some force, with the hot stone massage, there wasn't any. She must have used all of her strength beating the crap out of my big toe with the clippers. I did get a different person for the mani. No complaints. My friend had a different person for her mani pedi and she had no complaints. The place is packed. Either people here have low standards, or I really got the worst tech in the place. read more

okay first thing the owner man is rude, when you pick two colors to do on your nails he always says "that not look good" I was getting my nails done and this older lady next to me said she wanted to get acrylic nails with gel polish on top. He told her no he wasn't gonna do it because her real nails were pretty and long. Then told her to go pick out her color she wanted now if she was paying for those nails and that's what she wanted he should've let her get that. Every time I'm in there I hear him tell someone what they can and cannot get or when they want some thing he tells them "that not look good". he always rushes every customer he does. Personally I think he does not do nails well at all. I prefer the woman that works there to do my nails she does nails better than him. they just like to do basic nails there. They do not like to do diamonds or designs. They are very outdated with what they do. They do not know how to shape good at all.... I sit there and wait at 45 minutes for my friend to get her nails filled all I wanted was a manicure. That he took another woman to get her nails done before my manicure. I think that's a crock of crap. Because I wasn't paying as much for nails to get done as a manicure. I got simple black acrylic coffin nails. The nail tech shaped them out and I told him at least 10 times to make the nail narrower at the end. He wouldn't. Another nail tech had to come over and explain it to him and he still gave me a horrible shape. He then put on gel polish which I didn't want, I wanted regular black polish. Then he also filed them after putting the polish on, giving the edges that white color. They look really bad! read more

So yesterday was my first time visiting the Nail Lounge. I walked in and saw a good friend in there and she told me right away I found a good place. She was right! The service was so amazing. This salon is not very busy and under new management so you will not have to wait. I met 3 of the staff members and they were all beyond lovely. My gel mani was perfection. They had a very large selection of gel shades, much more than most salons in the area. My pedicure was one of the best ever! The chairs are very strong and give a great massage. Most importantly of all everything was exceptionally clean and the staff was genuine and caring. You could tell everyone loved their job and cared very much about the clients. If you have not tried this place yet, give them a chance to wow you! If you tried it in the past, know that there is a new team and they know perfection! read more

Im giving three stars only because they didn't complain when i asked that they start over. My square nails turned into what looked like beans glued onto my fingers..... round and thick... so the new set looked great. I have been here 3 times and have only had half of a good experience. Andy and Anne are no longer the owners :( The shop was passed on to someone else. I walked in looking for Andy who had done my nails a few times before and I was extremely pleased with his work. What I got was an entire family working on eachother. The father was in the pedicure chair with one of the nail techs working on his feet, the new owner was in a different pedicure chair with his wife working on his feet. There were a couple other ladies wandering around also. I was asked to be seated and had to wait on the woman that was working on her fathers feet. She sat and was very polite and started working on my nails. Shortly after she started an older lady walked in asking for a refill on her solar nails. The lady doing my nails told me she was going to have to do the solar nails and her sister in law would finish my nails. Again I had to wait for the sister in law to finish her husbands feet before she made her way over to the seat I was at to continue my refill. About halfway through the refill process I noticed she was clumping the acrylic on my nails as though she had little to no experience doing nails. I bit my tongue and waited to see if she would succesfully be able to file this down to a nice finished product. The almost finish product was horrible, after I washed my nails and sat back down to pay I examined the nails before allowing her to paint them. The surface was lumpy on almost every nail as though a child or someone very inexperienced had done them. I politely asked her how long she had been doing nails and she smilled and laughed as though she didnt understand me. I declined the polish i had initially picked because I knew I was going to have to go somewhere else to have them fixed correctly. These new owners will not stay in business long at all - out of the 7 people in this family that were "working" only 1 is an experienced nail tech, the rest are "learning" and are using customers to practice on and charging full price for less than acceptable work. read more

I love this place! Andy and Anne are the owners and are always so friendly and accommodating. I'd been in there before when it was called Solar Nails,before this sweet couple bought it, and to say that the previous owners were unprofessional is putting it mildly. Now that Andy and Anne have taken it over, it's a whole new place! I'm greeted warmly every time I walk into this beautifully redecorated salon that is spotlessly maintained. I'd felt intimidated and digusted in other nail salons, with the nail technicians speaking their native language, and carrying on conversations in front of me, or speaking on the phone while doing my nails, not disinfecting equipment, (or worse, actually coughing on me!) but none of this has ever happened to me here. I now go no where else and highly recommend The Nail Lounge to everyone when they compliment me on the beautiful job that's been done on my nails!
