Ever since their big move to the new location, they changed their hair color product from Kevin Murphy to Davines. Previously, I have always had a very consistent and beautiful light brunette color with highlights. With the change in product though, my hair ended up a horrible red color and ended up making my hair looking brassy. I was not happy with this at all, and went back in to get it fixed (TWICE). Each time, I felt like they were experimenting on my color, and basically applying the "band-aid" treatment and just throwing more different colors on. Each time I went in, it ended up looking worse and worse, to the point where my hair was splotchy, uneven, and almost looking like camouflage. The repeated coloring also left my hair damaged, and broken in several places. I've also always had bangs that don't really change, until recently when they were cut unevenly and ended up almost looking like I had layers in my bangs. Like I said, I used to really enjoy coming here. Recently though, it has begun to feel very impersonal. I know that it is common in some salons to double book clients, but it is still frustrating. I sit down, and I feel like my service is so rushed just so that another client can start their service at the same time, with the same stylist, as me. Again, I know that it is somewhat of a common practice, but it just makes me feel like my time isn't valuable. I see so many pics of women on their social media pages showing their gorgeous results. Meanwhile, I'm over here in tears.

I explained clearly that I had old color, new growth with some gray, and naturally dark hair that tends to lift brassy. Instead of blending, bleach was applied in solid lines and processed all the same. The result was completely uneven--white where I had gray, orange/brassy where I had old color, and yellow/gold at the regrowth. There was no transition or blending at all, just obvious streaks. I was told it was toned, but there was no visible improvement. It's now been two months, and after spending hundreds of dollars at another salon, I am still trying to correct the damage from this service. I would not trust this salon for any kind of color work.

After over 4 hours (they have no magazines, no TV or wifi, although they say they do on website), I walked out with not the best haircut and could not see any highlights. My stylist, Kaitlyn told me to come back and she would do again at no charge. I called a few days later to come back in and spoke to Stephanie who was also there the day i had my hair done. She said she was going to call Kaitlyn and have her call me, which she never did. After paying $170 (with tip) Not happy and would not recommend.

Low and behold she was right on time (unusual for a hairdresser). She gave me the best cut and color I have had since I moved to this area. She is extremely personable and made sure that I was happy with the end result. She made me not only look great but made me feel like I have known her forever. Afterward, I contacted Brian directly by phone and text to give him the benefit of the doubt since he said he wasn't feeling well that day. He had other people working on my hair instead of doing it himself, and when he finally did step in, he was clearly rushing. He was literally slapping bleach all over my head with zero blending, which explains why I ended up with highlights worse than early 2000s Y2K stripes. I went back to get it "fixed," and the fix was a joke. He just threw toner and brown dye on my hair -- again, no blending, no technique, nothing. It honestly felt like he was just trying to dye everything back to brown to cover his mistake. I left with orange roots and green highlights, and he looked me dead serious and said, "It looks so good!" and asked if I liked it. No extra charge... as if that made up for the $250 I already wasted. I haven't had my hair done in 7 years. I'm a stay-at-home mom, and this was a big deal for me -- something I did for myself. Instead, I left feeling embarrassed and ended up having to fix my hair and dye it dark at home on my own. So you can imagine how I feel right now Overall, this was a horrible experience. Rushed work, zero attention to detail, and zero accountability. I would not recommend this place to anyone who actually cares about their hair.
