Ordered the lasagna which was different temperatures throughout and the cheese tastes artificial. Clearly frozen then put in the microwave. Also ordered the spaghetti with meat sauce which tasted like tin from a can. Bruschetta was also super weird. Hot artichokes, an unusual amount of onions, capers, and capers. We loved that this is a family run place and that the family takes pride in their service and their food. An Italian friend once told me that the hallmark of a place with good food is that they need to take some time to prepare it. If you think about it, there is a Iot of truth and wisdom to what he said. If you are looking for a relaxing "date night" destination, we feel that this is just the place. I have had the veggie pizza & meat lovers. For Lago and really having dominos as our other option for pizza their pizzas are good. As far as the rest of their menu, not sure about that. A friend ordered their fettuccini Alfredo and that sauce needed some kind of thickening agent, it was so watery and just so BLAH that i almost felt bad that she ordered it. I have ordered their Penne Vodka pasta and it was okay was not out of this world that's why we usually just get pizza. The service as mentioned before needs to improve.
