The food is pretty good but the service is terrible. I've been there twice now and have yet to be impressed. I don't know if it's because most the people that work there are Italian and maybe Italians just aren't naturally friendly but the service is just not up to par. To me, expensive food requires good if not great customer service. Not to mention this place is owned and ran by legitimate Italians so the food should be phenomenal and it's not even close. There are some kinks still needed to work out in the new location: the music is too low, the phone rings too loudly, and the service is a bit distracted. The food, however, is very good. I had the chicken parmesan with a side of spaghetti, my wife had chicken picatta, and our daughter had the child's spaghetti with meat sauce. Husband and I were starving and were on our way back to Austin when we passed by a restaurant with a ton of cars in front. We thought that any restaurant with that many cars must be pretty decent. Turns out...was a gem in small town. We did the lunch special with chicken soup for him (really hardy and definitely could taste it was home cooked) and salad for me (fresh simple and nothing too fancy). For the main course I had the Eggplant Parm. It was fantastic. It was layers of eggplant and cheese baked so it came out super hot and fresh. I really enjoyed the sauce that complimented this dish...not to mention it's not small like a lot of fufu places. Husband had the linguine with mushroom and added a side of meatballs. He really enjoyed his dish. The bread that was provided was warm and very yummy. Damn I wished they had one closer to Austin...would have been one of our go to places. Can't beat the price either. $23 and that included a $4 tip for the waiter. Fast friendly service, good food...deserves a 4.5 stars from me. Try this place out! read more

I ordered the shrimp Alfredo and it was wonderful. My husband got shrimp diablo, or something like that. It was spaghetti with shrimp in spicy red sauce. He said it was OK. The bread is yummy. Was recommended this restaurant by the people at Russo restaurant while on my journey to north fort hood for military training. The staff in the restaurant were very accommodating and extremely nice they even gas us a military discount for our pizza. The pizza was hot and very very good I ordered a small personal pizza a devoured it by myself lol. The cheesecake was also exceptional. Not a fan. At all. 1. Was told the pasta was homemade by the waitress. It is not. I am Italian, I know. 2. I ordered spaghetti. I got angel hair that tasted like oil and water. Yuck. 3. I did not get to eat and they ONLY have angel hair, no spaghetti, yet everything on their menu is "spaghetti". Strange. The pizza and rolls aren't that impressive. Good, but not great, Italian food. Meatballs appeared to be purchased, previously frozen rather than made from scratch. Tomato sauces were good - particularly the puttanesca sauce. It was nice to stop at this restaurant in a town that we are seldom in. We took eight for dinner on a Sunday evening with one 5-year old, two 10-year-olds, two teenagers, and three adults. Everyone enjoyed the meal, and it was much faster than we expected. Thank you for a good meal! read more

Stopped here on a Sunday afternoon. Unbeknownst to us, they have a Lunch Special everyday of the week until 3 pm! It was our first time here so we went with the waitresses recommendation of the Pasta Sampler of lasagna, cannelloni & manicotti. The online menu says this is $7.99 but the in-restaurant menu had it as $8.99. We both enjoyed it - I couldn't eat the entire serving . . . taking my lasagna and a roll home for dinner! Was very pleased with the quality. In addition, our waitress was very perceptive and kind - her name was Kara - ask for her for good service! I would've rated the restaurant as a 5 star for the food, waitress & atmosphere BUT .... there was a female who was working at the cash register when we came in & still when we left. She was extremely rude to those around her - her gruff demeanor made for a very uncomfortable environment. She really needs to be moved somewhere else away from customers. read more

Went to this spot a lot when they had thier old building but newly done up the place looks great. This past time went and got take out and it was great. Bread was nice crust and soft on it inside , which I just enjoy and lightly brown on the bottom, just right. I heard that the place moved to this new building a couple years ago and it has been down hill ever since. You can tell just by going there.

It is hard to find because the road sign Is faded and hard to read but it is worth it. You find ample parking and many rooms which are great for meetings.The service was good and the food was great.I had the veal Marcela that was very tender. This restaurant has recently remodeled it's exterior. The service is friendly and the homemade rolls are great! I had the Bella Sera chicken and it was great--chicken with capers, sun dried tomatoes and kalamata olives in a lemon wine sauce! The house salad was just an iceberg lettuce salad, but the dressings were all homemade. Pastas were around $10 and other entrees from $10 to $20. I also saw a lot of pizzas being carried out. Pizza was fair, eggplant and chicken parmigiana was very good but only the chicken had the side of pasta. The bread they brought to our table before our entree was warm and delicious. A bit overpriced for the portion of food received. Waitress was very nice but a bit slow to our needs. Restaurant and bathrooms were clean and nicely decorated.
