Bella Pizza Honestly, I'm not sure why some of the previous reviews are so bad because my experiences have been completely different. Reading some of them was honestly shocking to me because I didn't experience any negative vibes, bad service, or poor food quality at all. I ordered the family special, which comes with a large pie, six buffalo wings, six garlic knots, and a two-liter soda for $36.99. Everything was fresh and tasted great. I keep forgetting to take pictures of the pizza, but I'll definitely try to remember next time because the food deserves it. The service has always been pleasant. The girl behind the counter was very nice, and the guys making the pizza always greet me when I walk in and again when I leave. It gets pretty busy in there, so I really don't understand some of the complaints I've read. The restaurant itself is clean, too. I didn't notice any issues with the seating, floors, counters, or overall ambiance. This is a place I've been to more than once, and I still plan on going back to try other menu items. Maybe ownership changed at some point, or maybe people just had different experiences, but based on my visits, it's definitely not what I expected after reading the reviews beforehand. I ordered a medium cheese pizza, garlic knots, and a Sprite from Bella's Pizza in Springfield Gardens. The restaurant is literally five minutes from my house, yet it took over an hour and 30 minutes for delivery. After waiting that long with no food, I called to cancel the order before it arrived. Instead of being understanding or apologetic about the delay, the manager called me back and told me not to order from them anymore and accused me of "playing with their food." That was extremely unprofessional, unnecessary and disrespectful which is a huge complaint about this store.. staff are DISRESPECTFUL!!! If there was a delay, that's fine -- just communicate it. But waiting an hour and a half for a simple order and then being spoken to disrespectfully is not acceptable customer service. Very disappointing experience. read more

The food isn't comparable with official pizza stores , the service is horrible the worker there is very disrespectful cursing and yelling , me and my friend wanted to enter to eat and enjoy food and he cursed them out. Not worth it!! Save your stomach! Spare yourself! I stopped in for a slice and instantly regretted it. The place was dirty and looked like they hadn't cleaned in weeks. The whole space overall just felt run-down. I said "Good afternoon" when I walked in, and not only did the cashier not respond, but she gave me a full-on attitude like I was bothering her. I ordered a chicken slice -- they charged me $6.50 for one slice, which would've been fine if it was decent. But the pizza was barely reheated under a low heat lamp and lukewarm at best. On top of that, the cashier handled both the cash and my food without changing gloves or washing her hands. Completely unsanitary. Unfortunately, I ended up with SEVERE food poisoning for three days afterward. I'm certain it came from here because I'd only eaten home-cooked meals with my family all week. This was the only outside food I had and I was the only one in my house spilling my guts out. Eating here cost me days of discomfort. I should've just tossed the slice out and not eaten it ‍. Definitely won't be returning. Cleanliness and basic food safety standards should always be a priority for a food establishment. They were CLEARLY lacking here. read more

This place is a cool little pizzeria . Recently I had a chicken roll from them as well as a sicilian slice, with a regular slice with sausage. My favorite was the chicken roll, they made it with a decent portion of chicken,soft enough with a little crunch. The sicilian had the right amount cheese and sauce on it with a nice little crunch on the crust. My sausage slice did the job. Not to much sauce just the right amount of cheese with the sausage made a great combonation. I can't forget the ambiance was nice. Bella also had good customer service. read more

It's not the worst Pizza. However, they did recover from the cheap cheese taste. It has gotten better. However, i only order 1 plain size and occasionally a sausage roll. My complaint comes from the $2.50 fee for that small container of marinara sauce that isn't even suitable for the size of the roll. They need to consider getting bigger cups for that price. I understand cutting cost, however, you are charging for the size of a ketchup packet! read more

Updated review.. I see a lot of horrible reviews but also see they are from years ago so here's an updated version. I walked into Bella's pizza after grocery shopping and just grabbed two plain slices. I found it to taste amazing. Nice hot cheesy pizza it was so delicious. This is definitely added to my favorite local pizza. The only thing I would say is the price is a little expensive. i spent 8 dollars for two slices and actually just ordered a medium pie for delivery and it was $20. However the delivery was fast and efficient. Will be ordering more often. read more

Had to update my review, this is now our go to place. They have really improved and impressed us lately. We've ordered several times and the wings as well as the pizza have been pretty good. Had a convo with the owners and was told they are part Arminian and Italain. You can watch them prepare food, and make pizzas. They have several specials to choose from on the menu. Lots of fresh ingredients. Nice clean establishment. With pleasant staff that makes sure you receive everything that comes with your meal. If you want extra garlic powder or parmigiana cheese, just ask. Or you can add more at the counter. They're located in the Stop n Shop Shopping center, next to MCU bank, and several other business. Other restaurants across Springfield Blvd. Public transportation is on the corner. You can order thru Grub Hub. Their delivery guy is always pleasant and on time. read more

The owner of this restaurant, or whoever makes the pizza is the RUDEST. No shade to the young girls who work there, but the misogyny that must be present at this establishment is mind blowing. Not only was I called a liar about a food item that I didn't receive in a delivery, but was threatened by the owner by having the police called on me. After being told by the owner that the order itself didn't exist and being told to call my delivery service, and consequently hung up on, I called the delivery driver to resolve the issue. My delivery driver told me that he never received the order. After calling back this establishment, the owner then informed me that I was being scammed, reiterating that the order didn't exist. Infuriated at his response, I drove up. Now, did I walk in hot? YUP. But did this owner speak to me in a condescending, mansplaining tone? YUP. After establishing that he now in fact had "too many orders" to remember (oh, so the order does exist), he then said that my delivery driver stole it. Cool. My sister asked if he would be willing to replace the item that was missing, and he brazenly declared, "I will not do that thing, get out before I call the cops!" I will admit that I was HOT when I came in, but only because I was told twice that I was a liar. If the driver took it, ok. If you don't want to replace it, fine. But the order did exist. Stopped by here for some pizza. It wasn't the best looking pizzeria but I was hungry and figured how bad could it be lol. The decor was very dated, the lighting was dull, and the pizza looked.... A few customers (including myself) had asked for fresh pizza and did not want slices from the pie that was sitting out since it looked as if it was made and left out since yesterday. The woman at the register rolled her eyes and seemed upset at the request. It didn't take too long for for the slice to be ready, but that's not saying much because it didn't have any flavor. I really wanted to like this place and for a while, I did. I've only ever had pizza here. I never felt the pull to try anything else. The first time I came here, I wondered why I didn't come sooner. The pizza was great. After a few trips, I noticed that the consistency of the flavor began to change. It led me to think that maybe that great tasting pizza was a result of me being really hungry, because we all know that food taste a lot different when you're really hungry. All in all it was still good pizza, but I grew tired of it and decided to try their buffalo chicken pizza. Eureka!! It was amazing to say the least. They actually made it with buffalo sauce as opposed to the tomato sauce. I don't know why, but I've hit a few road blocks when it came to looking for some make you wanna dance buffalo pizza. Then something strange happened. On my next visit to get a slice of the amazing buffalo pizza, I saw that they put tomato sauce instead of the buffalo sauce on the pizza and it looked like they just topped it with some buffalo chicken pieces. To say I was disappointed, was an understatement. I asked the guy making the pizza if they didn't have the buffalo pizza with the buffalo sauce. He told me that they didn't use buffalo sauce, but only use tomato sauce to make the pizza. I was highly confused. Maybe I was living inside the twilight zone or something, because I knew what I ate and it was buffalo pizza with some buffalo sauce as the base as opposed to the tomato/marinara sauce. After a moment, I felt like I no longer knew what I was talking about. Maybe I dreamt it up. Anyhow, he proceeded to say that he could add buffalo sauce to the pizza. I really wanted some buffalo pizza, so I said ok. I really should've just counted my loss and walked away though. He took my slice of pizza to the back. It took some time, so I figured they were preparing it the way that I was at least expecting it to look. My expectations were pretty high. It shouldn't have been though. That was my mistake. When my pizza came back, man, I just wanted to walk out. All that time that it spent back there, it came out with buffalo sauce drizzled on top of it. I mean...really?? Then they had the nerve to charge me a little over $7 for the pizza. Which I didn't realize until after the fact. Not sure if it was meant towards me, but I most certainly took it that way, the lady at the register laughed when she rang me up. I mean...I literally paid the same amount for that little drizzle of sauce that the pizza cost. I just got bamboozled. Not again though. I never went back. The place is ok. It needs some updates and could use a face lift and some cleaning up. The seating area had significant wear and tear and a lot of school children frequent there. It could get a bit nosy at times, but other times, it's pleasantly relaxing. The taste wasn't consistent, but they had some really good pizza when I did patronize there. read more

If you want greasy, soggy, disgusting pizza then this place is for you. The stuffed crust pizza is basically a pizza pie with another pizza pie on top. The pieces of meat were thrown in a not cut into bite size bits. Half of my garlic knots were burnt as well. This was a very disappointing experience that came with a $50 price tag. read more

On the menu, The Chicken à la Casa entrée at $13.95 is supposed to be "Sautéed chicken breast with melted mozzarella cheese and roasted peppers on top".
