I got the Green Tea pedicure and a Gel X manicure. The salon was nice and really clean but My nail tech seemed stand off ish. I was trying to pick a color when she walked up to me and asked what color I wanted, I told her a soft pink and she said ok come with me. She painted my toes white. After getting the pedicure (part of it is a 4 min shoulder rub which is why I picked this pedicure) we moved onto nails, I figured she would do the shoulder part at the end so didn't think anything of it. My nail shape and length looked great but there were chunks of dried gel on and around my nails she left on that left them looking not as manicured as I would like and then she said "you're all done" and walked to the front so I could pay which was a bummer becuase I wanted the other part of the pedicure, otherwise I wouldn't have spent so much on a pedicure. Overall, ok experience, not bad but not my favorite. There's also no online booking option, you have to call and as a new patron I don't know which techs are available so I can try someone new if I don't have a great experience with someone else. May try again soon, we'll see. read more

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing from beginning to end. This was my first visit, as I recently relocated to San Antonio and am looking for a new nail salon. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. When I walked in, no one acknowledged that I was a first-time customer or explained the process. I noticed other customers signing in, but I wasn't asked to do so or made to feel welcomed. I was simply told to pick a color and have a seat. My nail technician, Tony, began removing my previous set. During the removal process, nail dust and shavings ended up all over me--on my clothes, my phone, my drink cup, my hands, and even in my hair. Instead of making any effort to keep the dust contained or checking on me, he brushed himself off first. I had to point out that I was covered before he apologized and wiped the dust off of me. That level of care and professionalism should be standard. There also seemed to be a miscommunication about the service I wanted. I requested a new full set over my natural nails, and it felt like Tony became visibly frustrated once I clarified what I wanted. I showed him a photo of the design I wanted three separate times. My request was very simple: three solid-colored nails and one French tip accent nail. The French tip wasn't being done correctly, so rather than continue, I told him to forget the design and just make every nail a solid color. I ended up settling for something I didn't even want because I had lost confidence that the design would turn out correctly. On top of that, the shape was completely wrong. I requested a narrow, tapered shape, but my nails came out bulky, wide, and much thicker than I asked for. While I do like the color, I absolutely do not like the shape. The interaction throughout the appointment was also uncomfortable. At one point, while my hand was in the UV lamp, I briefly pulled it out to look at the color. Instead of politely explaining that it needed to continue curing, Tony raised his voice and told me to "put your nail back in the machine." I simply responded that I was trying to look at the color. After everything else that had already gone wrong, that interaction made the experience even worse. Lastly, I couldn't help but notice that every other customer around me was offered a beverage, whether it was water, a soft drink, or another complimentary drink. I was never offered anything, which made me feel overlooked and unwelcome. Overall, this was not the level of customer service or attention to detail I expected. As someone who was genuinely hoping to find a new go-to nail salon after moving to San Antonio, this experience was extremely disappointing. I won't be returning, and I hope this feedback encourages improvements in both customer service and the quality of care provided to future clients. read more

I had a wonderful experience! First time at this salon. Julia did a great job with my pedicure and was attentive and made sure everything looked beautiful. Kayla did an amazing job on my eyebrows and shaped them perfectly. Both ladies were professional. I'm very happy with the results and will definitely be back. Highly recommend! read more

Love Bella Nails but for the 2nd time they have shredded my heel. Their design work is good and the techs are very pleasant. I'm just frustrated my he'll is damaged again after I ask her not to use the grater. UPDATE: Bella nails reached out to me and gave me a full refund and apologized for the discomfort to my feet. They also promised to educate their staff on the need for care with the grater. I really appreciate their initiating a quick response. read more

A friend request a commended this place. Sweet staff, but within one week my nail was already lifting badly causing me to hurt it everytime I bump it or it get stuck in my hair when brushing etc. The other nail next to it wss badly chipping and I paid extra for gel shellac which shouldn't chip unless it's old nail polish. Went back again (before my nail was lifting) and got my toes done. I asked for "acrylic & tips" on my toes and the guy didn't do it. I wanted my big toes to look even with the tips and more classy for summer. They told me "no we don't give referral credits, we only thank your friend" and laughed it off. Not very professional if you ask me. Wasn't happy with either service and the only thing they didn't mess up on wss my eye brows and the dye they used. The owner did it and thank God she atleast did that right. Very sweet staff but unfortunately I won't be back due to these two bad services. Wouldn't recommend the salon. read more

Bella Nail Lounge is located in the same space as a previous nail spa but the difference is night and day. My problem with the old location was the nail techs were very slow. Now the staff is on top of things. Greeting you with a cocktail menu. Two cocktails per premium service! One was plenty for me. I relaxed in a roomy massage chair as Lyn "LX" started my pedicure. She was very responsive to my request for warmer water etc. She did a great job and pedicure included a soothing massage. The things I like best about this new spa is the quiet relaxing space. They play a soft mix of club/house music while the large video scene shows beach scenes. The lounge is large and very clean. So you don't feel like your neighbor is right on top of you. Right now, July 2023, they are running 15% off services for grand opening do give them a try. read more

Quality of the work is amazing! Amy did my nails and she did an incredible job going above & beyond. She had to do my nails like 3 times because I was uncertain about the color of the dip powder. She was so patient though and finished beautifully. I'm just a little salty because I've been coming here for like 1 year and wasn't aware of the military discount. Guy was asleep at the front desk when we got there and gave us a horrible attitude throughout the whole process. Was passive aggressive and left acrylic all over hands leaving them to burn. Never asked if we even liked our nails. 1 day later and nails are literally ALREADY popping off. Paid $140. Don't recommend this place. read more

Unfortunately this guy (Ben) will be the reason you have to change names again, and lose more regular customers. He has a bad attitude toward customers and his coworkers, and continues to do sub par work. My neighbor had a similar experience with him last time we came here, and today was my day with him. He needs oversight!! He argued with me over the thickness of the nails I am paying for, sadly, and then put a nail tip on top of preexisting acrylic. I asked him why he didn't remove the previous tip/acrylic completely and that clearly angered him. I wish I had something better to say. If you look at my past reviews - I don't usually say bad things, and I try to support my local area, (see my first review for here) but we won't return here. EVER. Called first thing in the morning and was able to make an appointment 30 min out. Whoever answered the phone was very articulate and sweet! Signed in when I arrived and was immediately met by a beautiful nail tech named LX. She took the time to make sure she picked the perfect shade of pink for the ombré and made sure the length and top shape were to my liking before continuing. Very efficient, gentle and an absolute perfectionist. So happy I saw this place on Instagram, it's new, clean, and beautifully decorated with quite a few hands on deck! Absolutely love this place! Love the new location and parking is no problem. The salon is very clean and it's very beautiful inside. Great service, great ambiance, and very friendly! They really do care about their customers. They also have a nice bar if you feel like having a yummy drink while you get pampered. Ryan did an amazing job on my nails (like always). They have soo many colors and techniques to choose from! I did go back again to get a pedicure and it was amazing! I love Bella Nail Lounge! Tony is awesome, and he was able to complete my pedicure on a busy Sunday afternoon. He really takes his time and makes sure your feet are taken care of, painting is perfect, and your heels are left nice & smooth. Tony also gives the best foot massages too. I love Amy's work. She's very profesional. This is the second time I have gotten my nails done with her and have no complaint. The only reason why I'm leaving 4 stars is that they are not consistent with their pricing. Both times I have asked for specific nail designs and have paid full price. Yet this time I had a 10% discount provided by them. I guess if you have a promo code they will up charge so you end up paying the same price after the coupon code. read more

Went to this salon for the first time because it's so close to where I just moved. WOW! The salon is beautiful and offers a full bar. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The service was also impeccable. I am so happy with my deluxe pedicure. They did not rush at all and took time to make it a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I have been frequenting this place for over a year and have recommended this place multiple times. But as of recently, I've been getting knicked, improperly filed down and had less than ideal results. The service has been inconsistent and it's sad to see this place go downhill. If they can't get you in , they won't lie to you and have you waiting around for an hour. I have two primary reasons for sticking with a nail salon 1. Quality work. 2. Real people. I never understood people who don't communicate what they expect or say, "whatever you think is best" & then complain when a service isn't what they "expected." Every tech at Lotus has wanted to understand what I want and has worked their best to provide. Every one of them have been uber-nice & respectful to me if I decided on a mid-service change.....they were even nice about a post-service change once, but its probably because that is an extremely rare occurrence for me and I try to be nice & respectful in-kind. But as of recently, I've been getting knicked, improperly filed down and had less than ideal results. The service has been inconsistent and it's sad to see this place go downhill. With busy schedules, I found a day that worked for everyone and booked my appointment. I arrived about an hour early so I could enjoy the hot tub before my massage. I was also planning to take advantage of the spa amenities afterward and grab lunch at one of the restaurants. About 10 minutes before my appointment, I put on my robe and headed to the waiting area. As my appointment time came and went, I watched every other guest get called back for their massages while I continued to wait. After another 10 minutes had passed, I finally went to the front desk to ask what was going on. The manager came out and informed me that there had been a miscommunication and my massage therapist was unable to make it to work that day. Unfortunately, there were no other therapists available and no alternative appointment times. I was simply told they were sorry and that I would need to reschedule. At that point, I broke down in tears. This wasn't just a massage, it was my birthday gift and my first opportunity to step away from the chaos and demands of postpartum life. Having that experience taken away without any notice was incredibly disappointing. To their credit, they did offer me a complimentary massage whenever I am able to rebook, which I appreciated and accepted. However, this was a very disappointing first impression. A simple phone call before I arrived could have saved me the time, effort, childcare arrangements, and emotional letdown.

Bella Nail and Lash is such a wonderful place, and every visit has been a great experience. I recently went in to get my eyebrows waxed and brought my daughter with me. Although she ended up deciding not to go through with it, the staff handled the situation so kindly and professionally. They were very understanding and made sure she felt completely comfortable, which I really appreciated as a mom. I didn't catch the name of the woman who did my eyebrows, but she was incredibly sweet and did an amazing job--my eyebrows came out exactly how I wanted them. It's always a great feeling to leave somewhere feeling confident and taken care of. We also regularly come here to get our nails done with Mimi, and she is truly the best! My daughter and I both love her. She is not only talented and consistent with her work, but she also has such a fun personality and always keeps us laughing during our appointments. I always go here to get my pedicures because they have a nice variety of specialty pedicures and colors, while always being gentle and thorough with the treatment of my feet. However, I went today, and I'm a runner/lifter/football player, which means sometimes my nails fall off or I get stepped on, and it kills my nails. It's hard to tell with my nail polish though. I came into bella just for an overdue pedicure not realizing my entire big toe nail was half off and super bruised. Most nail places would just cut and trim as well as possible and be on their way. ANDY went above and beyond and fixed as much as humanly possible to make my toenail presentable again. Additionally, he was honest with me that the color I picked wouldn't be thick enough to avoid showing the bruising and suggested other colors similar: Bella goes above and beyond and ANDY goes even farther!!! read more

I went to get my nails done at another nail salon. I was so unhappy with what the lady did. I got dip powder and my nails look bulky and unpleasant. I did not go back to that nail salon. I saw that there was a nail salon down the street from me. I called and the gentleman who answer was really nice and ensuring that they can fix my nails just the way I wanted them. They scheduled me with Tony. I honestly did not think he would be able to do much because she cut and shaped them weird. I have been coming to this salon with my family and boyfriend for several years now and we just love it! The service is always great and exactly what we want. It's so nice to relax and have a drink while getting a pedicure. My boyfriend especially loves the Volcano pedicure and compliments how clean it leaves his feet as a person who is barefoot a lot and is very active. Today we had Tony and Sophia service us today and the experience was once again amazing. Tony gave me a wonderful foot and hand massage and Sophia did the same for my boyfriend. We had been going to another salon across the street, which was pretty good, but always busy and a little pricey. We decided to give Bella a try one day when the other place was packed, and I'm glad we did. Not only were my nails done beautifully, but the service was great too. The facility is clean and beautiful. And they were just a little cheaper than the other place. I get acrylic nails with shellac and my bff does the dip powder and also gets her lash extensions done with Lily. We have been very happy. Definitely recommend. read more

The staff works quickly and they are able to filter people in and out timely and you don't feel rushed. I've actually enjoyed the change over the last 4 weeks since coming here. Kim did an amazing job, my nails have never looked so good and she even pulled my jeans down my ankles for me since they were rolled up after my pedicure and i forgot until my acrylics were on.
