I went today for the first time since I'm pretty new to the area. I'm not sure how clean things were, I guess I'll hope for the best. I just think for a $35 manicure plus tip that I would have been able to communicate better with the technician. ..I don't think she was able to understand me at all, which means I didn't get exactly what I wanted. My nails do look pretty good but other than the fact that it's no chip, I do just as good of a job myself, it just wasn't an awesome experience. ..mediocre I'd say. read more

I will never return to this place. It took two hours for a pedicure and eye brow wax. The lady that waxed me was very rude and pushy. She insisted that I tip in cash. I told her I don't have cash so she replied "Next time you tip us in cash". Lady, there won't be a next time! read more

Waited for the gentlemen to finish his smoke break. Rushed threw my nails and when asked if he could paint the "top/ tip" of my nail TWICE he declined. He was extremely short and rude and I literally had to paint the nail myself and when the manager noticed she tried to help! It was a little too late as she could see how upset I was with my service. Went to get a basic manicure on my lunch break(which they knew) thinking it would take a maximum of 45 minutes leaving me enough time to get back to work. Boy was I Wrong! It took 1.5hrs for a basic manicure! Nothing special, literally just clean up the cuticles and throw some nude polish on. It's a damn manicure, the paint job isn't going to last for more than 48hrs tops! Not only did it take a obnoxious amount of time, they put on a base coat, 3 damn coats of paint, a top coat then oil. What the hell do they think is going to happen with that amount of paint on my nails, after a 1.5 hr manicure on a lunch break?!! Sure as sh*t, they smudged immediately as I exited as I had no time to sit the necessary 30 minutes It would have taken for them to dry. To top it all off, when I got back to work (now 1hr and 45 min later) I noticed that my cuticles were a mess! So I got to spend my night fixing the crap manicure. If they can't even get a basic manicure done correctly, I can't imagine what they would do on other services. Last but not least, though they opened a "new" set of tools, there was obvious nail polish on them which only leads me to believe they didn't properly sanitize/clean them. If you want to get a quick mani during your lunch break, this is not the place to go! If you want a descent mani, this is not your place to go! read more

I always come in and get a full set of acrylic, and have no complaints about it. I have had 3 different people do it there, and they all work at it until perfection. They file and drill each and every nail very well. These other reviews are being a little over dramatic. "My feet were still calloused," probably because you need more than just a nail spa to cure that. I think this place does a great job! read more

My experience at Bella's was awesome! CLEAN and friendly environment, attentive staff and good pricing. New management has really made a difference in the service. The techs were quick but it did not effect the quality of my manicure or pedicure. It was a nice treat for myself and I will definitely go back - did I mention clean? read more

I called to make a 6pm appointment about an hour prior and was told that was ok. When I showed up, the door was locked even though someone was still working. I told her I had an appointment, but she wouldn't even unlock the door while she made a phone call. After a few minutes standing in the cold, I left and will never go back. I'm new to the area and need a pedicure very badly. Living in the city I always went to the places in the city. They were always in a hurry and never treated you like a person just a client. This place has been under new management for a month and it was my first time here. This was the best pedicure I have ever had!! She took her time with my feet and the place was soooo clean! The staff was friendly and were very caring! I've never been to a nail salon where they really cared about your comfort as well as the quality of work they do. I will definitely recommend this place to family and friends and myself will continue to get my pedicure here!! read more

Read the bad reviews but I still went to check it out myself. This place is under new ownership/management.I've been to this place 2x as a walk in customer and they have accommodated me. I never felt rushed and they did a good job. The place is close to where I live so it was convenient too. read more

This was the first time I've ever considered leaving a nail salon before the service was finished. My pedicure was painful. I still (3 days later) have a bandage on my ankle from the skin that was roughly scuffed off during my pedicure. The "spa" was filthy. There was a rotten strawberry on the floor and the towels used to dry my hands and feet were disgusting. I cannot believe this place is still open. read more

I went in to get a mani/pedi before going to a class reunion. I had an older asain man doing my nails that had just finished a client and he filled the tub with water and within a min he asked me to come sit. Since I am a cosmotology graduate and know about sanitation, In my head I was questioning in my head if he had sanitized all of the tools. I doubt he did. I sit down anyway, soak in unwarm water and after removing polish he just starts filing my nails. Did not ask me if I wanted them trimmed at all. I spoke up and said, don't you think they are in need of trimming that is what I am here for. All he said in his broken english was that they will look beautiful when he is done, that i'll see. I have a nail that curls down close to the skin and he didn't think it should be trimmed?! In beauty industry, all he was doing was saving time. He was trying to snip my cuticles which was really painful when my feet had not soaked long enough. Then he was using that same snipper instead of a curette to go under my nails to clear away debris under nails, I found slight pain when he used the cutical snipper under my big toe,...I even pulled my foot back hoping he'd get the clue. When he lifted my foot and grabbed his pumice stone, (the kind shaped like a bar of soap) it was wet and clearly used on the client before me. I just know he didn't have time to sanitize....It would have been nice to see him grab it out of barbicide. I was wearing black flip flops which stain the bottoms of my feet when I wear them. He showed me his dirty pumice stone and said,"really dirty" I had to explain to him my flip flops did it and he actually told me to buy new shoes! When it was time to do my french style nail paint, I asked him to make them natural looking...the white area thin. Instead of saying ok,....he told me his opinion and that I will see it will look beautiful. When he was done with the white tips he asked me what I thought and I said its fine and he said no they're beautiful. So much for what your customer thinks. I then asked him if he was going to paint the nail with a flesh color or irredecent color like I am used to and he ssaid no just clear, showing the natural nail is best. Everytime I tried talking to him, it was clear he was just going to do the run of the mill job on me which was probably all he was taught. I doubt he even has a license at this point. When it came time for my manicure, he barely soaked my fingers...in umwarm water,...he made one of my cuticles bleed when trimming. He slapped the paint on my hands so fast that is was so gummy and I had clear polish underneath almost every nail drying the skin under my nail! While I was sitting under the light drying them, I decided I better tell him it was very gummy and showed him under my nails. So what does he do?...he takes my hand and he used his fingernail and slit under each one of my fingers to free the skin~instead of using nail polish remover. So i still had clear polish on my skin and in the corners the skin was still glued to nail with clear polish. He tells me it's because he's not done. Then he walks back with more clear polish and applies it to each nail. Whatever this polish was caused a ton of tiny bubbles to surface towards the top of the nail. I just let it dry and paid chalking it up to just never going back there again. I walk outside and my nails have a slight violet tint from whatever that last sealer was that he put on but my toes didn't! By the time I went to my event that night the tips of my nails were all bubbled up and thick, tips on fingers gummed off my next morning after paying 50 buck to get this done. What a waste!!! Please don't waste your time/money on going to this place. I learned my lesson! I doubt this guy was even licensed....they need to be inspected for sanitation! read more
