I used to go here until my favorite hair stylist moved, she recommended another one and I went there to try her out. I was quoted a month before my wedding $200 for a partial and when I asked about it , I was told that I would only be able to do a portion of the top of my head due to the different products that the two stylists use. I was shocked and the price and at how much I was going to not have done, I then asked the stylist how much it was going to be to style my hair on my wedding day,her response was $89. I thought that's reasonable, I then asked if she did braids, her response was, I only do normal braids nothing else. I then asked if I could cancel my appointment and I left. I went to another salon where I paid $230 and got a partial and a blow out. I would no longer recommend this place to anyone on a budget. She just wasn't very cordial at all and I felt like she acted as if she could care less if she had my business or not. I felt awful. I first visited this place in January and it started off with a haircut. Afterwards I started coloring my hair. I went from dark brown to blonde. I never thought I would ever go with an extremely different hair color but I did and I love it! I always see Becky and she is amazing! She is such a sweet and hard working person. Just as well. Rather than re-post it here, I have decided to let my review do what I would hope a reviewed business would do: stand on its own merits. It is what it is - one person's experience. Others' experiences may be different; excellent. Yelpers can read their posts, too. An aside (just because it seems, unbelievably, it has to be said): It's one thing for a business owner or manager to publicly and appropriately express regret over a negative review; it is quite another for her to use the space solely to attempt to discredit the reviewer. To make statements one knows are deceptive in order to call into question a reviewer's motivation is abhorrent enough; in this case, a former employee's (and innocent bystander's) well-won reputation has been dishonestly drawn into the fray - something that is both unconscionable *and* a dangerous flirtation with an L & I violation. That lack of professionalism I mentioned in my review? Nicely confirmed... and a lack of integrity to boot. Interested in positively affecting your business's image? Become a student of your customers and former customers, whatever their feedback may be. Use less-than-stellar reviews as an opportunity to *shine* by responding with humility and grace... by demonstrating a desire not to sully a former client's/reviewer's reputation for trustworthiness, but to regain his or her respect and trust - and in the process, to gain that of prospective clients. Then, bump up your service so you needn't be concerned by the occasional negative review. In SD's case, most positive reviews are quite dated. Why? I followed Rhi to her new salon down the road which is called Absolut Hair] I first went to Salon Dolce because I work right across the street. It definitely didn't come across as a typical North Everett establishment (no offense meant to Chuck's Ribs + Yaki and Barb's Bead Heaven.) and so I was more apt to give it a shot. I, like the reviewer Cin C., tended to drive a few extra miles for my personal grooming services. I was pleased from the first moment I stepped inside; nice ambiance and professionally friendly staff. They assigned me to Rhiannon (Rhi) and I have been back to her at least five times. Honestly, I hesitate to talk her up too much because I don't want to make it harder for myself to get my traditional last minute appointments. She's super nice and very talented. My wife, who's extremely picky about my hair, really likes the cut I'm getting and that's the biggest endorsement I can provide. Of course, if the environment and the personable attention of Rhi wasn't top notch I'd look elsewhere as I rarely enjoy the typical salon environment. I wrote a really negative review regarding an experience a friend and I had with a single employee at Bella Dolce Salon and Spa after attempting to get in contact with the manager through their website. I'm deleting the details of the review and raising the rating as the manager just contacted me and refunded me for the bad experience and didn't receive the original email I sent. In my review I mentioned that all members of the staff besides the one I had a bad experience with were wonderful and accommodating; I think taking the time to read customer reviews on yelp and make unhappy customers rethink coming back to the salon proves that as a whole this is a salon that aims to please customers and provide high quality services. Because of the excellent customer service the manager just provided I will reconsider visiting Bella Dolce Salon again and not let a bad experience with one employee defer me from using them as my go-to salon as everyone else there was wonderful. The salon is very clean, relaxing, and has awesome Avedo products and I'm really glad that I can feel comfortable continuing to go there and will update this review as I try out more of the services they have available. read more

I went here 2 times right when I moved back from California. I have very curly hair and wanted to find the best person to cut it. After doing some research, I chose this salon based on some good reviews. I decided to make an appointment with the owner, hoping she would have the most experience and would do the best job. When I met the owner Naomi she was very nice and had curly hair too which was a bonus. She did a fabulous job cutting my hair so I was very pleased with my experience. The next time I came in however, she wanted to try a different type of hair color on me and with a little hesitation, I let her. Boy was that a mistake! I don't think it was Naomi's fault, but rather it was mine. I should have stuck with what I wanted but now I have to deal with this super ugly grow out. I would like to thank Ann for rescuing my hair. I was lead to Bella Dolche Salon and Spa because of Groupon. First impression I got with the Salon was that it was very clean, modern, and the receptionist was quick to greet and welcome each guest (including me of course). My hair was a mess and it needed some TLC, after I met with the stylist (Ann) she informed me on what she was able to do with getting the color and cut right to my expectations. Her personality was phenomenal, our conversations were short, but I'm more of the quiet type of gal that can sit in a Salon chair for hours reading a book or mag, so it didn't bother me at all - plus, I'm sure she had to focus on how to get my hair color right (I'm telling you, it seriously needed some TLC). Even before moving onto a few extras that were needed in the process (I have really long and thick hair) Ann was there to let me know if there were to be a process that needed an extra charge, thank you! I would rather have someone tell me that rather than getting a 'surprise' amount on top of my service charge. In the end, my hair was great! I had my hair cut and foiled by karmin. I specifically said I didnt want chunks of color in my bangs. I got home and my son said you have stripes in your bangs. I sent karmin a message and asked her if she could fix it. A week later she called and said she was never going to do my hair again. She refused to fix it and wouldnt refund my money. She talked so abusive to me I had to hang up because she so negative it made me cry. I am 62 years old and have never dealt with anyone this rude in my life. read more

My first experience at Bella Dolche was a bit of a mess and a lot of miscommunication. Ninyel, the owner of the salon made it right and took care of me. She apologized and told me that the lady who did my hair doesn't do well with men's hair and took care of me. It would have been great if from the beginning the receptionist didn't book a men's cut with someone who doesn't do men's hair well but there is a learning experience for everything. I really appreciate Ninyel helping figure this out and other than the haircut I enjoyed my experience with Bella Dolche. I went in for a Brazillian and a full face wax. Fariba and she missed lots of sections. It was $145 and not worth it. Won't go back. :( Half assed wax. Too fast not enough attention to detail! Overall a very nice place for a mens haircut. The location is clean, well decorated and relaxing. The staff is friendly and accommodating. My stylist did a great job on the haircut and took the time to really listen and ensure I received the haircut I wanted. There is no pressure to purchase products. When you walk in it's well lit with hip music playing to keep people upbeat. The decor is comfy. Aveda is their big product seller. All of the ladies in the salon seem exceptionally qualified and helpful. I chose Anna because she's not afraid to try new things with her own hair and she has an infectious smile. She's vivacious and sweet. She listens to your stories (and remembers them). She will make recommendations for your hair if you are undecided and she always makes sure that whatever she does is done perfectly. She's meticulous. The prices for ALL of their services are exceptionally reasonable. On average $25-45 for a shampoo/rinse, perfect cut, blowdry, flat iron or curling iron, and style! That's an awesome price for the service. So it allows me to tip a little more directly to my stylist. Anna will be my hair dresser for as long as she does hair. read more

Fantastic salon for men and women alike. It's extremely clean, always has good music, and has complimentary beverages for those rare occasions when a client screwed up the schedule and you have to wait. Everyone is nice, and I love that they have the text reminders for appointments. Obviously Aveda is top of the line so you'd expect this type of atmosphere, but far too often do I get disappointed by the environment at other salons. Bella Dolce sets a great example of what salons should aspire to be with affordable pricing considering the quality of both the products and the stylists. I've worked with Taylor Carlson multiple times, and she's the best stylist I've ever had. It means a lot when a stylist is willing to go above and beyond expectations to make sure the client leaves feeling happy, and Taylor personifies that perfectly. Not only do I look good when I leave, but Taylor consults with me and gives me tips to make sure that I stay looking good between trips. She's the definition of customer service. The good news is her husband ( umm...awkward) is still running the salon and it is still the best place I know of in Everett. I literally created a Yelp account a few minutes ago simply so I could give Salon & Spa Dolche a raving review. I've seen Aimee 2 times now, both times for balayage highlighting and a cut. To say I LOVE my hair would be a complete understatement; seriously, I've never been so happy with how my hair has turned out! Aimee is extremely talented and has a great eye for detail; I completely trust that she'll do great things with my hair with little to no direction from me. Not to mention, she's very friendly and easy going. I'm seriously bummed I'm moving out of state because I want Aimee to by my stylist for life!!!! I read all the reviews from this salon and most of them were five star. I had a cut and a hair color. I love the Aveda product line and was excited to try the hair color. I am so disappointed with both treatments. The color on my hair is not what I chose and the haircut is nice but not the picture I presented. The hair color smelled so bad. It was hard to believe that they used the Aveda product. My hair itches me and I couldn't wait to wash it out. I always use Yelp to help me find the best referrals for my buying needs but from not on I'm going to trust my friends referrals. read more

Absolutely fabulous. It was my boyfriends daughters 12th birthday and she had always wanted to go to my "fancy" salon, shes only ever been to super cuts and places like that.They were able to get me an appointment with only one day notice. As soon as we walked through the door, it seemed they all knew it was her birthday and went out of their way to wish her a happy one. They totally pampered her and made her feel special and important. She has the most straight hair imaginable, but loves curls. They curled her hair just how she wanted it and it stayed curly for two days, which is amazing since her hair usually goes straight after an hour. I've been coming her since Salon Dolce closed, usually just get a color and a trim, but they make it so much more. You feel completely revitalized by the time you leave and my hair always looks fabulous. read more

My friend works here and she has been doing my hair for years, she does an amazing job, she goes by Spencer. She gives me the best haircuts ever! Today I got a massage because on facebook they were doing a deal for a $30 60 minute massage. I saw Pam. I was impressed with how she appeared to genuinely care about my pain and mental health. Her massage was a little tough but in the end seems to make me feel better overall. Pam seems very passionate about what she does, even though it was only a $30 massage she make it feel like a $75 one. Needless to say I rebooked. The worst salon experience I have had in recent times! I was given a menu of services with prices 2 days ago, when I arrived for my appointment today, was told that all the prices had just changed. I was also informed that the "level 1 " stylist I scheduled with was now "level 2" and therefore, pricing would be impacted. All that aside, the stylist over-processed my hair to the extent that my scalp is burned and it will probably take months of deep conditioning to restore my hair to something that approaches normal. The owner of the salon comp-ed today's services - as she should have!!- but I will probably spend twice that repairing the damage to my hair. If Bella Doche is truly interested in providing the best service to their clientele, ,I recommend the following: Do not release pricing information that has changed! Be transparent regarding the stylists levels and how they are determined Do not let stylists perform services unless they are fully qualified to do so. If it was your intent that my experience today would insure I never return to your salon again, you can rest assured that has been accomplished. Needless to say, I will not recommend your service to anyone else either. read more

With my business based in Bellevue and used to nearby high end service and quality, I was very apprehensive about going to Everett for a first class haircut along with the occasional highlighting. Living closer to Everett than Bellevue, I gave Bella Dolche a try. Frankly, I was blown away...what a classy place, all the stylists were upbeat, in uniform and engaged in fun dialogue with clients in nearly every chair; of course, practicing safe distance and wearing masks. I was in and out in reasonable time, got a sensational look, which helps with confidence in business interactions and the price was much less expensive than I'm used to. Kudos to Bella Dolce. I don't write many reviews so sorry so slow but, after numerous visits, I thought you deserved to know, "You brought Bellevue to Everett and I definitely wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to man or woman...a rare move by me." My last haircut at this salon was absolutely horrible and terrifying! My hair was choppy and uneven afterwards. I went back later that day to have it fix but it wasn't fixed correctly. The ends were not blended and I had clumps that were longer than other areas. I specifically asked Rachel to re-check my hair to make sure it is all even. For what I paid I had expected a better haircut than if I went to Super Cuts. I had to go to another salon to have it cut properly and paid another $65! So infuriating but luckily this new stylist did a fabulous job and she confirmed my hair was really choppy and uneven so I wasn't being unreasonable requesting that it get fixed. I will never use this salon again. I also did not appreciate the other hairstylist working in the next station making snide comments when I was just trying to get my hair cut evenly. So unprofessional! It should not be this difficult to have 3 inches trimmed straight across. I wasted time and money to get it done right! read more
