I had such a wonderful experience at Shear Perfection! My stylist, Isis, did an absolutely amazing job. She really took the time to listen to what I wanted, and it was clear she cared about creating a style that would work for me...not just giving me a standard haircut. I am in love with my new hair! The cut has so much movement and texture, and it frames my face perfectly. It looks polished while still being easy to style, which is exactly what I was hoping for. I walked out feeling more confident than I have in a long time. Isis is incredibly talented, detail-oriented, and has a great eye for what will complement your features. The entire experience was relaxing, professional, and enjoyable from start to finish. If you're looking for a stylist who truly listens and delivers beautiful results, I can't recommend Isis at Shear Perfection highly enough. I will absolutely be coming back, and I'm already looking forward to my next appointment read more

Watch out for this place. They quoted me one price when I made the appointment. I got a pedicure and when I got home I found out that they charged me more than quoted. I called and they said "sorry the price went up". I asked if they do not honor the price quoted? They said no. LOL. Great way to lose clients. read more

Just had a pedicure with Tegan. It was awesome. I have some issues with very dry skin and a cracked toenail. Tegan took extra time and was very meticulous with her work. This was a very relaxing pedicure and not rushed at all. It was one of the best pedi's I've ever has. I highly recommend her and will be a returning customer. read more

This salon is awesome! I just got a great haircut and style for a reasonable price from an awesome lady! Go here, you won't be dissapointed!

Tegan is amazing! Sweet, kind, personable, professional, and just an all around pleasure to have pamper me.

My mum suggested this place to me so I thought I would go and see how they were. I had Miguel do my hair and I asked for curtain bangs and light layers. I received a botched hair cut. Very uneven and jagged. I didn't notice at first how bad it was because it was wet when I left and had I work that day so I was on a time limit. Once I got home and realized how bad it was I had my mum take pictures. I couldn't go back in for a few days because I am a high school and college student and work over 20 hours a week. When I did go back to complain she said she saw why I was upset and said she would give A FULL REFUND, which she didn't. I would not recommend coming here and especially not seeing Miguel. The owner, the one who wrote the note, was very impatient and disrespectful. If you do end up coming here and get an awful haircut/color, go back asap and demand they give you a refund in front of you, to make sure you get your money back. read more

My goto. Always able to accommodate my schedule. Never disappoints. Does exactly what I ask. A mens cut and a pro shave. Good stuff.

Jordan was exactly the hair stylist I was looking for, and I completely lucked out in finding her! I wanted a nontraditional color (oil slick effect) & wanted to find someone local instead of driving to Seattle. She listened carefully to what I wanted & doesn't mind answering questions about what she is doing as she goes. She gave me exactly what I requested in color & cut & I couldn't be happier! I found a badass new hair stylist! Hooray! read more

Shear Perfection - Hair Salons Near Me - Everett, Washington

I had been going to the same barber for 45 years. He passed away last year, so I've been going to someone who had worked for him. She was okay, but not great. And I had been driving down to Seattle from South Everett (a 20 mile drive) once a month for a haircut, and with traffic being what it is, it was a bit of a hassle. So I looked up barbers on Angie's List, and found Shear Perfection in Everett. They came highly recommended, so I made an appointment for this afternoon. What a great find! Tegan, the receptionist, if very friendly and helpful. And Tracy, the stylist, is just plain wonderful. He's very nice and personable, and gave me probably the best scissor cut I've ever had. I had been pretty nervous about trying someone new. I now have appointments scheduled for every month through June. I couldn't be happier. read more

I had a Spa Finder gift card, and happened to find Shear Perfection by chance, through the spa finder website. I have a four month old, and this is as my first venture out (also the first time I left their dad with all three kids). It was a great experience. Beatriz gave me an eyebrow wax, and a manicure, and trust me, she had a lot of work to do, since I hadn't had either done since my second child was one (two years). Beatriz was so pleasant and friendly and nice to talk with. She also did a great job on both my manicure and eyebrows. I wouldn't hesitate to go back (although my son was very happy to see me when I got home). read more

I got both my hair and makeup done here for my wedding by Beatriz, and oh my gosh, she is seriously phenomenal! I went in for my hair and makeup trial about a month before my wedding and she worked with me to determine what I was looking for on my big day. I showed her a picture of a hairstyle I liked, and on my wedding day, she completely blew me away with her skills! She also did a fantastic job on my makeup. I really just can't say enough good things about my experience here. I have already recommended her to a few of my newly engaged friends. If you're looking for a fun, professional, makeup artist and hairstylist, I highly recommend Beatriz at Shear Perfection Salon and Day Spa! read more

Shear Perfection - Wedding day hair by Beatriz at Shear Perfection Salon and Day Spa - Hair Salons Near Me - Everett, Washington

I have been going here for years and my daughter practically grew up at Shear Perfection! And I never even thought to leave a review for Marie or her fabulous team of experts.‍. ‍ well I am here to tell you that I love going here every time 100% satisfied and have never had a bad experience in the last 15 years that I've been going. The entire staff is fabulous! One time I did show a picture of a haircut I thought it looked cute, but, the translation wasn't good and Marie said don't worry honey we'll make it good and she did so I went from crying to happy all in the same visit because they saw the horror in my eyes and then they fixed it. I highly recommend this salon and spa to anyone in the vicinity of the Everett area they are worth it. read more

The owner Marie is so welcoming; she make you feel like family. She listens to her customers and always pleases to their satisfaction. Now you can't say that about too many business owners these days.. read more

Let me explain how I ended up at this salon: My wedding is in 2 weeks, and I realized that it is crunch time for getting my hair color retouched. I had a SpaFinder gift card, and for whatever crazy reason decided to try them out on a whim (they accept the gift cards, had a stylist available to meet with me only 2 hours after calling). I met Randee, a newer stylist (2 years is what I heard), and OMG she rocked! So super friendly, effortless conversation, and my hair looks better than I even pictured it turning out. Can I get an AMEN for a risk well taken? Definitely going back.... Plus only $85 for nearly a full head of foils? read more

I have found this place to be a very good place to either have your hair done or get a massage. The owner Marie has been nothing but fair to me and I have heard no complaints from others I know who go here. I doubt very much after being in business for over 20 plus years that she would do anything unethical. Beatriz is one of the best hair dressers. I had one massage here that I wasn't pleased with and the owner gave me a free massage. They also offer manicures, waxing and permanent make up among other things. Hair cuts are reasonably priced between $17 and $45 depending on what you are having done. read more

Had eyelash extension's done. Had to go back and have someone else fix them. Not pleased when I found out that they have unlicensed Eustachian's performing facial, body wraps, etc... chop shop stay away! read more

I've come here for a few years now, always loved it, this last time...not so much. I had an appointment with Michelle for a partial foil, I showed her a picture of what I wanted, she glanced at it for about 2 seconds and started mixing the color. She wasn't friendly at all, seemed rushed, and fir in three different hair cuts between my foil so I was there for about 3 hours when it should have taken maybe two. I would sit and wait for 20 min at a time twiddling my thumbs while she was with other clients. After she was finished she didn't even dry my hair so I couldn't see the finished product until I was home and dried it myself. She charged me $80 for a color that wasn't what I wanted and you could barely see, what was the point? My boyfriend didn't even notice a difference when he got home. What a waste of money. I won't be back. read more

I LOVE Beatriz. She is friendly, makes me comfortable, is fast and does a great job.

I have been going here for 7 plus years. Very friendly environment, they know you right when you walk in. Charlyn is a very good hair stylist she can blen a fade very well and the shampoo is the best part read more

I've been twice now to get my hair cut by Beatriz and I haven't been disappointed.

Absolute heaven! I went in to do an ear candling, I felt immediate relief of a two year sinus battle! Robin was really great , so great I made another appointment to have her do my hair. The owner is just as wonderful, I had a great time and am excited to go back! read more

Yesterday was my first time at Shear Perfection, and let me tell you, it will definitely not be my last! I had heard good things about the salon and spa, so I drove all the way from Sultan to get a pedicure and massage. It was well worth the drive! Everyone there went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, comfortable, and to give me the pampering I have so greatly needed! Megan did my pedicure, and Michelle did my massage. Both were amazing!!! Probably the best massage and pedicure I've ever gotten in my life! Marie, the owner, is the sweetest ever, and made me feel so welcome and comfy! Thank you all so very much for your amazing hospitality and service! I will definitely, definitely be back!!! read more

Worst ever!!! They do not know how to color or paint hair! Would give zero stars if that was possible. They do not know what the heck they're doing. Absolutely screwed up my ballyage. And charged me still. Even after a total screw up. Would recommend to never go to this place if u dont want ur hair ruined!! read more

I decided to give this salon a try because it was close to home and they accepted the gift cards I had. I went online to check out the reviews and most were good. My appointment was with Tracy. He was polite and nice and asked me what I wanted done with my hair. I came in with mostly brown hair. I told him I wanted a balayage. I'd had it done previously at another salon so I said I wanted the highlights to come up a little higher than it was and for the hair that was already blonde to be lighter. He got started and was very heavy handed. I felt like he was trying to pull my hair out. I am a pretty easy going person so I didn't say anything and just trusted he knew what he was doing. Unfortunately when he was done my hair was COMPLETELY BLONDE!!!! I was horrified!! I payed and even tipped him, because I always tip, got in my car and balled my eyes out. My hair is ruined. I got up the courage and called the next day. I explained what happened to the owner and asked for my money back. She offered to fix it but I declined and explained that I never want Tracy to touch my hair and that sitting across from him and having someone else do it would be to acquired and uncomfortable. She said she'd see what she could do. She proceeded to text me and was very accusatory. She asked me to send her a picture of my hair and a picture of the picture I showed him. So I did. I also sent her a picture of my hair after getting it "fixed" from the salon I went to. I say "fixed" because It's going to take a few appointments to actually get to what I wanted. She said she would mail me a check and I accepted. The check came with a rude note for only $45. I was charged $107. $75 of which was in gift cards. I realize that the salon gets a lesser amount for the gift cards so I was ok with getting back a little less to reflect that but $45 is not even half. Not to mention now I have to pay an arm and a leg to get it fixed. So the moral of the story is, you get what you pay for and just because someone has some good reviews doesn't mean they will do a good job for you. Lesson learned. P.S. if anyone tries to refute my claims, I have all the text messages to prove it. read more

I have had a difficult time finding stylists in the past because my hair is fine and breaks easily when I lighten it. I have found that Blackwell products can help me lighten my hair while not breaking it and to find this salon I had to search on Blackwells' website to find a salon that carried the product that I liked. I have been to several salons in the Seattle area but this one is the best. This is a very welcoming and friendly place. Thanks so much for making my hair fabulous! I would recommend you to everyone. read more

I am new to Washington and needed a place to get a hair cut and partial foils. I have very fine hair and have not always been pleased with previous hairdressers. I also don't have an endless budget to spend on my hair. After researching salons and hairdressers in the Mill Creek, Everett, Bothell area, I decided to take a chance on Michelle at Shear Perfection and I am soooo glad I did! Do not let the modest salon appearance deter you. Michelle gave me one of the best cuts and colors I have ever had. She was punctual, professional, creative and kind. I am more than pleased and am so glad I won't have to continue to searching.....I have found a place to keep going to. Thank you Michelle and Shear Perfection! read more

I've been going to Shear Perfection for at least 5 years, and was curious to see how they stacked up on Yelp. I was surprised to see the wide point-spread of the reviews, so I wanted to put my two cents in. I've always had a very positive experience with Shear Perfection, Marie, and all the staff. I've seen Heather, Michelle, and Isis, and they've all done a great job. A particular shout-out to Beatriz, who has been able to help handle my unruly, thick hair!
