This is one of the better nail salons I've been to in this price bracket. It is very affordable, clean, tastefully decorated, and the staff were friendly to me. I heard about Bella Dolche from a Val Pak coupon (30% off! Looks through yours the next time it comes!). I only get my nails done occasionally, and get my eyebrows waxed every couple of months. The manicure was $15 and she was very quick and did a neat job. Eyebrows came out nice and cost $10. It seemed pretty busy for a Thursday evening but I didn't have to wait at all. One thing that is different than other places I've been to is she had me pay before putting the color on, and put my jacket back on. I thought it was a little odd but then she explained that its so I don't scuff my nails messing with that stuff. Genius. Maybe I am just not very picky, as someone who goes to a nail salon maybe 4 or 5 times a year, if that, but this was a better experience than I've had at most other places. I've given this nail salon a few chances now, but nope! The last four times I have gone they have been rough. A pedicure is supposed to be a relaxing experience and instead I am wincing and tensing up at the pain. This last time (and I stress LAST) the technician scrubbed both feet raw, to the point that I had scabs on one toe on my right foot and a particularly bad one on the bottom of my left foot (that hurt so bad to walk on!). The accompanying massage was more torture than relaxing and I told him three times he was being too rough. He left bruises on two of my toes. I visited this salon 3 times within a 1 week period. I first went in with a friend and had a deluxe pedicure, I liked it so much I decided to return to get my nails filled. The technician did not listen to the shape I wanted at all, and drilled my nails so thin that they basically snapped off after 1 day, and filed them so short that they barely looked like I had acrylics on, and she did not fill the acrylic all the way back to my cuticle. I went back 2 days later and showed the owner my nails, he was so nice about the whole situation, a technician came over and said she would fix the broken nails, but the owner said I needed a new full set, and I agreed because all the nails were close to breaking. He took the price I already paid for the fill off of a new full set. This time I decided to try the SNS powder dip, which I am now obsessed with. I got a full SNS set and it has been on for 4 weeks and looks brand new! I'll definitely continue to come here for SNS and pedicures, but I will probably never get acrylics here again. read more

I haven't been here in awhile, but I stopped going for many reasons... They don't sterilize their nail clippers, cuticle nippers, tools, nail files, or e file bits, etc before using them on you. They will just pick them up off the nail counter or drawer etc & start using them on you, even covered in skin etc from the previous client, or whoever! They don't use new nail files before working on you either. I frequently file my own nails, & even soak them off in pure acetone as well, I've done that for as long as I've gotten my nails done. Well, when I soaked my acrylics off that I got done here, they were gooey, & sticky. I decided to Google & research, & found out that whenever acrylic is soaked off, & it has that sort of texture, it's because the salon is using MMA, which is illegal, & incredibly harmful, & also causes birth defects & cancer! I will not be going back ever, & I honestly recommend nobody does. I found myself an independent nail tech, & it's the best thing that's ever happened to me. My new nail tech has a private salon, her attention is all for me during my appointment, there's no noise from other clients, or nail techs, or other people's unruly children, etc. & everything is clean/sterile! She uses a brand new file each time, & sterilizes her e file bits! She also tasked her time to make sure I like my nails, & that they're all on pointe, the same shape, even, etc. & she doesn't use MMA products! read more

Communication was lacking. Nail Salon wasted our time. We clearly walked in, left our numbers and found out after 2 hours of waiting that they had someone else take our spots. I am confused and angry about this. They claimed to have called us, but clearly did not. No messages where left. And they claimed to have called when we where just down the street 10 minutes away. Got a pedicure on a Friday evening. Called around 5pm and they fit me in at 615. Customer service was great even though it was very busy. Very friendly staff! Lots of colors to choose from and organized in a pretty manner. Loved the option of having drink options. Mimosa wasn't amazing by any means but was wondering to have to relax a bit. My nail girl was super friendly but noticed I liked just being in my own little world and not talking much so she went about the pedicure. It's supposed to be 30min but mine lasted 40min which I didn't mind. Prices are very reasonable especially for the environment and customer service. Definitely will be coming back! Came here for pedicures with my daughter to celebrate our birthdays. We selected the Signature pedicure, which is one of the top ones available, advertising a luxurious 50 min, extended foot and leg massage. I wish I could give a negative stars. The turn and burn, rush rush rush. The guy my daughter had, was finished in 30 minutes!!! WTF? The gal doing mine, after taking her time removing the little bit of shellac that was left, and cutting me 4 times with the nippers and foot shaver that looks like a cheese grater; spent 30 minutes on mine as well. - NO RELAXING EXTENDED MASSAGE. Instead a few minutes rubbing my shin bones & slapping on the lotion. - NO LEG MASK - Everything was rushed. Scrub and oil rubbed on and rinsed off. Once done, I expressed my disappointment to the girl at the front desk. And pointed out that what we received was the Classic, $27, 30min. pedicures. But she only changed the price charged for my daughters to the $33 pedicure, even though I pointed out multiple times that only 30min was spent. Come here if you want a rush job that's a turn & burn instead of relaxing time, and to be ripped off by getting a 30min pedicure for the price of a 50min. read more

I went to BD yesterday at the recommendation of a friend. Everything was fairly swell. It's a very clean, beautifully decorated place! Service is great as well, they seem to staffed well, and happy to listen. The manicurist frequently asked how I felt about the progress of my nails, etc. So service overall was good. Onto the actual manicure. I had previously done my nails elsewhere. My regular salon. I have my real nails underneath acrylic. I decided to do a reshape + polish. Just to even them back out, fill, and do polish. The finished product was lovely, and looks really really good. Which is why I'm so unhappy right now. Because maybe 27? Hours later, I reach for my ID in my wallet. Little to no pressure. And my right, pointer finger snaps off. Not my nail though, just the acrylic tip. It's been a little over a day, I have a vacation tomorrow, and now need to make a quick stop into the nail salon. AGAIN. I'm going to BD first, and see how they handle etc! I will update my review with how I went. Posted a photo also of my nail. Overall: LOVED EVERYTHING. Except- the acrylic, not my actual nail, snapped off in less than 30 hours. Despite me being less than active with my hands. Will go see BD tomorrow, and see what they do for damage control. More tomorrow kitty girls! UPDATE: I went in, explained my situation to the clerk, was seated, and then helped by Van, who was AWESOME! Very very polite and kind. He complimented my nails, asked if my shape was okay, and when I requested thicker acrylic, he did just that! He caught a mistake in which I held my nail too close to the fan so it wrinkled, and he fixed it promptly. Did the repair free of charge, though I tipped Van! All in all, I think it was just that one manicurist, perhaps an off day for her? Either way, if this goes well, I'll be sure to come back. :-) Really happy with the service I got for my repair. I just left this place. It is beautiful on the inside. They provided complimentary drinks which we were not offered, Mt step mother and I had to ask them even though on a sheet you fill out when you get there we had our drinks on. While getting my nails done the last did not even talk to me, ask me what shape I wanted my nails. Which she did do the square like I wanted. But they are way too thin. I work with special needs kids and these will snap by this week. When I washed my hands, I noticed there were bubbles throughout my nails. When I brought it to her attention , her and the lady doing my step moms nails said it was just the gel and you cannot do anything about it. They called a man over , which I am assuming he is the manager, and said he will just give me a 50% discount. I was confused because now I am going to have to go somewhere else to get them redone and I have to pay for these nails. They also still made me pay for a design and gel top coat. Also, when they were putting the top coat on, usually the person cleans off the table area so there are not particles flying as the nails are under the UV light. She didn't so as my nails dried, I now have write particles on top as well as the bubbles.
