Like any nail salon you go to you have to like the vibe of the environment because it's always about finding the right nail artist. I've been coming here about 7 years and k had an awesome nail artist and then he left and I had a kid one and then a bad one and now I have an amazing one again. So it's about finding the right artist and then a place you like being in. My artists is great now, flexible and nice and does my nails how I like and makes great suggestions. The salon itself is located in a square so highly accessible with free parking. They do full services: mani, pedi, wax, acrylic, gelx, sns, designs, shellac, the whole shebang. Pricing is pretty competitive in my opinion . Cheaper than the salon I go to in Kirkland sometimes and unlike that place, my nail lady is much more flexible with what I want. They have bathrooms and a large space with a pretty chandelier. They offer drinks. I do see kids in here too, so they seem lie and husband friendly

Nice folks but they destroyed my nail beds with improper Gel X removal. She pried the extensions off and filed my nails, leaving me with a painful and unsightly mess I'll be dealing with for months. Gel X should be removed by soaking, but they told me they always file off and it always damages the nail beds. They aren't trained properly and don't prioritize nail health.

I've been coming here for about a year, and it was the first nail salon I found when I moved to the area. I have found the nail technicians that understand how particular I am for pedicures and manicures (dip), which is Kathy and Natalie. They do a great job every time and are always kind, and attentive to me while I'm there. The manager Nikki is also rockstar, always offering to grab me a drink and is also attentive to everyone that walks through the door. I personally have never felt scammed, but I understand that sometimes people have bad experiences. Anytime I didn't like how my nails came out, which was maybe once or twice, Nikki always makes it right and has them redone or charged me half the cost to make it right. Everyone has bad days, myself included. But 98% of the time I'm so so so happy!

I found this shop on yelp. I cant even say enough good things about this place. I had Tracy give me an amazing deluxe pedicure. I had Mimi give me an amazing manicure with a full set and eyebrow wax. Both ladies were super skilled and friendly. I will be telling all my friends about this shop.

Actually horrified at how bad my toes look. Went in for a classic white pedicure, some of my toes are completely over the cuticle, some not even near. She had to redo one 3 times and bring someone else to do it because she was over lapping tacky paint. You can tell that their tools we NOT sterile/sanitized because the bags weren't even sealed... Aside from all of that, I got wine and was swarmed by fruit flies so I asked for someone to just take it away. The man brought me another and put a paper towel over it... that did not necessarily fix the problem *see picture* Then the manager tried charging me $50 when the paper said $35... The only reason it's two stars instead of one, is because the man who did bring the wine was very nice and tried to make the experience better. Honestly would not go back even for just $35. Wasn't worth.

Awful. Awful awful awful. It's seems to be a crapshoot here. Sometimes I walk away with a decent mani/pedi. Other times, the last two times were awful and I went home in tears. I'm 30, have cancer, I live on fixed income. I spent $50 for an SNS dip to treat myself (a rare thing) after a really stressful week. Stressful life to be honest. I felt like an inconvenience at the end of the day. The work was rushed and haphazard. My nails look like garbage. They're uncomfortable. There is glue everywhere. I even watched her (Annie) use the drill on my nails WHILE she was looking away, talking to someone. They're too thick and uneven. I was never asked what shape I wanted. I went back in to have them fix it, and using the drill to get rid of the glue and I got a deep cut behind my thumbnail. All that was offered was some super glue for the bleeding cut. No thanks, I don't want those chemicals in my bloodstream. No refund was offered. I called and asked for a refund. Apparently they can only do cash refund. So in order to get a refund I have to drive all the way back...the whole experienced caused stress instead of easing stress. Why I didn't walk out or say something in the moment...I wish I had. Hopefully I get my refund but I will never be back, nor recommend.

*** UPDATED 8/31: I can here after my last visit below and it wasn't bad however my sister couldn't say the same. Her manicure was disappointing (polish was bumpy) and she got a service above the "basic" so it wasn't well received on her part understandably. Given all the experiences, I would say if you don't have preferences with nails going to Bella Dolce may not bother you. Personally, this won't be my first choice due to the lack of consistency experienced each time and price point but I know of others that have had stellar experiences (my old coworker has gone here for a while and loves them last I checked) ***+ Update- Second chances can be a beautiful thing - I came here today because another friend of mine had come here yesterday with a larger party and after seeing their nails, I decided to give Bella Dolce another try. I have to say, Jennifer and the other gal (I didn't catch her nail) truly provided a relaxing and nice experience. With fresh feet and hands, thank you! So incredibly pleased with my entire experience! Made an appointment same day, walked in with a picture (had no idea how it was done) and Anna perfectly executed my nail dreams! As for covid- all employees had masks, customers were spaced out, sanitizer was easily available (as was a sink). The space felt safe and clean. 100% will be coming back!! Thanks!

The concept of this place is great, but when I went for shellac a couple times it always chipped fast. I'm not picky on pedicures, and went in for one the other day because I needed to go to Safeway next door after. I had a guy technician, not sure his name. This was such a painful pedicure. He cracked my toes, over and over and over, giggling how many cracks he could get. I HATE having my toes cracked. But the worst was the foot file. Normally I'm just ticklish. But he hacked away at the skin. He rubbed away and drew blood on my big toe and my pinky toe and didn't even acknowledge or apologize. Days later and my toes are still in pain. He was also very picky about the elevation of my feet, constantly pushing them down and telling me to "relax!". How can I relax when you're drawing blood on me? Never again.

Apparently "grow out" after 6 days according to them after they saw the bubbles.

I have gone here several times and it's always been pretty good, but went last Sunday and just terrible. Shellac Manicure- heavy, all over my nails and cuticles, my thumb peeled 2 days after! wth?! so bad. Pedicure- polish all over, lots of clean up, my big toes are chipping already. $72 later and 3 days and my nails look like crap- I do a better job on my own at home. I would of gone back to get them redone, but I had zero time with work and travel. Sooooooo disappointed! What a complete waste of money. read more

Love these ladies! They're so sweet. I tried SNS for the first time and I am in love. My nails look amazing and they already feel so much better after taking off my shellac acrylics. The space itself is so glamorous and has a great upbeat vibe unlike the other dimly lit, awkwardly silent salons I'm used to. All in all - Great location, great service, great nails. I've given this nail salon a few chances now, but nope! The last four times I have gone they have been rough. A pedicure is supposed to be a relaxing experience and instead I am wincing and tensing up at the pain. This last time (and I stress LAST) the technician scrubbed both feet raw, to the point that I had scabs on one toe on my right foot and a particularly bad one on the bottom of my left foot (that hurt so bad to walk on!). The accompanying massage was more torture than relaxing and I told him three times he was being too rough. He left bruises on two of my toes. I knew he had abraded the skin when he poured the alcohol on and it burned like hell! I almost screamed. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

I visited this salon 3 times within a 1 week period. I first went in with a friend and had a deluxe pedicure, I liked it so much I decided to return to get my nails filled. The technician did not listen to the shape I wanted at all, and drilled my nails so thin that they basically snapped off after 1 day, and filed them so short that they barely looked like I had acrylics on, and she did not fill the acrylic all the way back to my cuticle. I went back 2 days later and showed the owner my nails, he was so nice about the whole situation, a technician came over and said she would fix the broken nails, but the owner said I needed a new full set, and I agreed because all the nails were close to breaking. He took the price I already paid for the fill off of a new full set. This time I decided to try the SNS powder dip, which I am now obsessed with. I got a full SNS set and it has been on for 4 weeks and looks brand new! I'll definitely continue to come here for SNS and pedicures, but I will probably never get acrylics here again. read more

I love this place! Always clean, always friendly. I really recommend the Bella pedicure! I've come with my girlfriends, I've come alone, it's a cute boutique atmosphere. They have a gorgeous chandelier in the middle, they have a host that always makes sure you have a drink and are taken care of. Very kind people, and not to mention they do a good job! I haven't been here in awhile, but I stopped going for many reasons... They don't sterilize their nail clippers, cuticle nippers, tools, nail files, or e file bits, etc before using them on you. They will just pick them up off the nail counter or drawer etc & start using them on you, even covered in skin etc from the previous client, or whoever! They don't use new nail files before working on you either. I frequently file my own nails, & even soak them off in pure acetone as well, I've done that for as long as I've gotten my nails done. Well, when I soaked my acrylics off that I got done here, they were gooey, & sticky. I decided to Google & research, & found out that whenever acrylic is soaked off, & it has that sort of texture, it's because the salon is using MMA, which is illegal, & incredibly harmful, & also causes birth defects & cancer! I will not be going back ever, & I honestly recommend nobody does. I found myself an independent nail tech, & it's the best thing that's ever happened to me. My new nail tech has a private salon, her attention is all for me during my appointment, there's no noise from other clients, or nail techs, or other people's unruly children, etc. & everything is clean/sterile! She uses a brand new file each time, & sterilizes her e file bits! She also tasked her time to make sure I like my nails, & that they're all on pointe, the same shape, even, etc. & she doesn't use MMA products! read more

Went in get a pedi and I'm always a little nervous because I have one toe that is very sensitive and I've had some terrible experiences other places. Anna did my pedicure and was absolutely amazing. She was gentle with my request and did an incredible job from start to finish. I will definitely be requesting her the next time I come. The rest of the staff were nice and inviting. Definitely one of the most thorough nail salons I have ever been to! Everyone there is actually so so nice and talks to you and never makes you feel annoying like some salons do. They're all very professional and extremely good at what they do. And on a lesser note the salon itself looks beautiful, and is very clean. And the price is very fair! Communication was lacking. Nail Salon wasted our time. We clearly walked in, left our numbers and found out after 2 hours of waiting that they had someone else take our spots. I am confused and angry about this. They claimed to have called us, but clearly did not. No messages where left. And they claimed to have called when we where just down the street 10 minutes away. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME!!! Next time I'm going to make sure we find an actual reputable nail salon that wants our business!! read more

Came here for pedicures with my daughter to celebrate our birthdays. We selected the Signature pedicure, which is one of the top ones available, advertising a luxurious 50 min, extended foot and leg massage. I wish I could give a negative stars. The turn and burn, rush rush rush. The guy my daughter had, was finished in 30 minutes!!! WTF? The gal doing mine, after taking her time removing the little bit of shellac that was left, and cutting me 4 times with the nippers and foot shaver that looks like a cheese grater; spent 30 minutes on mine as well. - NO RELAXING EXTENDED MASSAGE. Instead a few minutes rubbing my shin bones & slapping on the lotion. - NO LEG MASK - Everything was rushed. Scrub and oil rubbed on and rinsed off. Once done, I expressed my disappointment to the girl at the front desk. And pointed out that what we received was the Classic, $27, 30min. pedicures. But she only changed the price charged for my daughters to the $33 pedicure, even though I pointed out multiple times that only 30min was spent. Come here if you want a rush job that's a turn & burn instead of relaxing time, and to be ripped off by getting a 30min pedicure for the price of a 50min. read more

HORRRIBLE Experience!!! I went in for a shellac manicure and the guy named Ben chopped off my nails as well as the skin underneath! It started bleeding!! And the worst part instead of taking care of it he continued with his filing. Even the filer had blood on it from the cut! Sloppy work, terrible service! DO NOT visit this salon.... read more

I just left this place. It is beautiful on the inside. They provided complimentary drinks which we were not offered, Mt step mother and I had to ask them even though on a sheet you fill out when you get there we had our drinks on. While getting my nails done the last did not even talk to me, ask me what shape I wanted my nails. Which she did do the square like I wanted. But they are way too thin. I work with special needs kids and these will snap by this week. When I washed my hands, I noticed there were bubbles throughout my nails. When I brought it to her attention , her and the lady doing my step moms nails said it was just the gel and you cannot do anything about it. They called a man over , which I am assuming he is the manager, and said he will just give me a 50% discount. I was confused because now I am going to have to go somewhere else to get them redone and I have to pay for these nails. They also still made me pay for a design and gel top coat. Also, when they were putting the top coat on, usually the person cleans off the table area so there are not particles flying as the nails are under the UV light. She didn't so as my nails dried, I now have write particles on top as well as the bubbles. A couple of my other family members have bragged about how good this place is and I am very disappointed... read more

Bella Dolce is an amazing relaxing retreat. The customer service is great, they take wonderful care of you and the entire trip was like a spa like experience. The chairs are plush and cozy. The atmosphere is tranquil and relaxing. They have complimentary refreshments including tea, coffee, juice and soda. The techs are very friendly and gentle and everything was wonderful. read more

Got a pedicure on a Friday evening. Called around 5pm and they fit me in at 615. Customer service was great even though it was very busy. Very friendly staff! Lots of colors to choose from and organized in a pretty manner. Loved the option of having drink options. Mimosa wasn't amazing by any means but was wondering to have to relax a bit. My nail girl was super friendly but noticed I liked just being in my own little world and not talking much so she went about the pedicure. It's supposed to be 30min but mine lasted 40min which I didn't mind. Prices are very reasonable especially for the environment and customer service. Definitely will be coming back! Only down fall was little fruit flies that were buzzing around. read more

I have been coming here for almost and i have been nothing but happy with the service here!! I first started working with Vivian which she was absolutely amazing. That day I came in with a horrible set on and she helped me get my nails to look how I wanted them. I then started working with Taylor which she has never let me down. I have always been so happy with her work. And being that I like to have my nails longer then most people. She is always so patient and takes the time to do my nails never making me feel rushed.. and the other staff I have not worked with them but everyone is always so warm and welcoming. It's great to actually go into a place I have been going to for quite some time and actually have people know me by name. I went to BD yesterday at the recommendation of a friend. Everything was fairly swell. It's a very clean, beautifully decorated place! Service is great as well, they seem to staffed well, and happy to listen. The manicurist frequently asked how I felt about the progress of my nails, etc. So service overall was good. Onto the actual manicure. I had previously done my nails elsewhere. My regular salon. I have my real nails underneath acrylic. I decided to do a reshape + polish. Just to even them back out, fill, and do polish. The finished product was lovely, and looks really really good. Which is why I'm so unhappy right now. Because maybe 27? Hours later, I reach for my ID in my wallet. Little to no pressure. And my right, pointer finger snaps off. Not my nail though, just the acrylic tip. It's been a little over a day, I have a vacation tomorrow, and now need to make a quick stop into the nail salon. AGAIN. I'm going to BD first, and see how they handle etc! I will update my review with how I went. Posted a photo also of my nail. Overall: LOVED EVERYTHING. Except- the acrylic, not my actual nail, snapped off in less than 30 hours. Despite me being less than active with my hands. Will go see BD tomorrow, and see what they do for damage control. More tomorrow kitty girls! UPDATE: I went in, explained my situation to the clerk, was seated, and then helped by Van, who was AWESOME! Very very polite and kind. He complimented my nails, asked if my shape was okay, and when I requested thicker acrylic, he did just that! He caught a mistake in which I held my nail too close to the fan so it wrinkled, and he fixed it promptly. Did the repair free of charge, though I tipped Van! All in all, I think it was just that one manicurist, perhaps an off day for her? Either way, if this goes well, I'll be sure to come back. :-) Really happy with the service I got for my repair. Promptly and politely, and they let me know it was free of charge. Great service! read more

I've been here twice and got nail fungus from the tools they used each time. It has been 8 months since my last visit and my nails are still not healed. I went to get my nails done for my wedding day and got a cut above my thumb nail from one of the workers that was bleeding a lot. Also my nails clipped two days later. Such a bummer since the atmosphere is great.. read more

I want to be fair and clarify that I was happy with the nail technician and with the final appearance of my nails. Unfortunately, the overall experience was made very uncomfortable by the attitude and behavior of the salon owner. When I arrived, I was confused about where to park, so I politely asked the owner whether I had parked in the correct place. Instead of asking where I had parked or offering any helpful guidance, she simply said yes. From the beginning, I did not feel welcomed. Her manner was cold and dismissive, and throughout my visit I felt as though she was treating me with irritation. The service description included a **hand and arm massage**. However, the hand massage lasted only approximately 2-3 minutes, and I did not receive an arm massage at all. Although I was happy with the nail technician and the final appearance of my nails, the full service described was not provided. I had also paid extra for a French manicure. While choosing the color, I asked whether I could use a different base color for the French manicure. The owner gave me what felt like a very unpleasant look and responded rudely and sharply, **"THAT IS EXTRA $5."** I had no issue paying an additional $5 if that was the salon's policy. My concern was the disrespectful and condescending way she communicated it. At checkout, I misunderstood the credit card policy. Because I had entered my card information when booking the appointment, I thought my card had already been charged. As I was leaving, the owner called out, **"Ma'am, you have to pay,"** which made me feel embarrassed. Once she explained that the card was only used to hold the appointment, I understood and paid for the service. After I paid, she questioned me about leaving no tip. I found this extremely uncomfortable and inappropriate, especially because I had already felt unwelcome and upset by the way I had been treated during the visit. Tipping should be the customer's choice, and I did not appreciate being confronted about it. I explained that I had paid for my service and that I was unhappy with the way she had spoken to me. She eventually apologized, but by that point I was already very upset and embarrassed. I want to emphasize that my criticism is not directed at the nail technician. Although she did not do a good job with the hand massage and did not provide the arm massage included in the service, her overall manicure work was good, and I was satisfied with my nails. Unfortunately, the owner's attitude and the failure to provide the full service described overshadowed the quality of the actual manicure. I left feeling uncomfortable, humiliated, and unwelcome. A salon visit should be relaxing and pleasant, but this experience was the opposite. Despite being satisfied with the technician's work, I would not return because of the way I was treated by the owner.

I've been here several time with my son. The salon was very nice, the prices were not too high, my son loves their offer customers for drink, especially the slushy. They provide deference kinds of pedi&Imani fancy service, nice and clean. Recently, they introduced new SNS dipping powder which I will give it a try one day. However, this time was a bad service ever I had ever got. Vivian was doing my pedicure. She did talk a lot of her own language with the co-worker next to her, she look at me , laughing and continued talk in their language- I guess it was Vietnamese- I feel like, she was not respected me and my son. I asked her that my son need to refill his drink, she looked me and my son .. she smiled like contemptuously. Finally, I like the color that the lady had on her toes. Asked her for helping me out to read the label of polish's bottle. She told me that, you read it by yourself. So unprofessional customer service ever. I will come back here again . I just tried this place out and it's the best nail salon I have ever been to. Everything seemed extremely sanitary, and the staff were helpful and friendly. For about the same price you would pay anywhere else (I just paid $26, plus 10 for a tip because she was awesome), the most basic pedicure includes a long foot/leg massage and exfoliating scrub. My nails look excellent. My feet and legs feel wonderful... I will definitely be coming back to this place. Oh yeah and I walked in, no appointment, on a Friday at 6 PM. I have been trying to find a nail salon in the Bothell area where I could get a shellac manicure for not too expensive, while still good quality. Bella Dolche is the place! It is clean and beautiful on the inside, and I have no complaints about the complimentary drinks either :) The woman doing my nails did a fabulous job, the manicure was awesome and it only cost $30, even for french tips! The shellac lasted me about two weeks, which I was pleased with. I don't like it to last much longer anyways because I get tired of the color and the grow out. Ever since I moved to Bothell, this has been the place to go for anything nail and wax related. I've loved going to them. Their services are affordable, and their quality is exceptional! I've only had a few instances where I didn't like my color (although that was a personal choice) or my nails started breaking off within a week. I've found myself wanting Van or any of the men! I typically refill my acrylics every 2 or 3 weeks. I have been going the the salon for more than a year. I get acrylic nails done by Mary and my husband and I get pedicures together. I had to repeatedly ask her to fix my French tip because it looked uneven and messy. I normally do not like speaking up, but I had an important event to attend and was paying for a gel service, so I wanted it done correctly. During my appointment, there was apparently another scheduling issue with a different client, and the girl doing my hands left before finishing them. My nails were never properly filed, my cuticles were not done, and my hands were never painted. I was then told I could come back another day and have my hands done for free because they were not completed. However, when I tried to arrange that, I was suddenly told I would still need to pay MORE to have them painted, despite already paying full price the day of my appointment for an unfinished job. On top of that, the nails that were applied were not prepped correctly and started breaking and chipping within days. I still paid in full and tipped at the appointment because I was trying to be respectful and understanding, but the way this situation was handled afterward was very disappointing. As a business owner myself, I understand mistakes happen, but customer service and accountability matter. I do not recommend this salon based on my experience.

Second time I had a pedicure done and this was by far the worst experience at a nail salon. The girl who did my nails was just fine, no complaints with her. However, I have a big problem that there is a little kid, who appears to be the owner's son. Not only is he the one who was settling me in and starting the water, but he also walks around talking to customers. Maybe others think it's cute? I don't! I came here to get away from my kids and enjoy a relaxing pedicure. Instead I was greeted with a judgmental little boy who commented on my clothes and on my feet. Sorry but none of this makes me want to come back.

Not sure if it was an off day but my gel removal was so bad that all my nails broke off afterwards…read more Unfortunately the lady did not know how a lot of things worked, she reapplied the gel removal polish so many times (proper way to use it is to coat the gel thoroughly and let it sit a while, but instead she covered thin layers over and over again). At the end, she drimmeled my entire nails just to remove the gel, my nails got so thin at the end that all my nails broke off this has never happened to me in my life! I am so sad. Also the owners 2 kids were around the whole day which was quite distracting not only for me but the technicians because theyd pause the treatment several times to talk to them or take care of them. Overall, the price here is very low compared to prices in proper seattle area and unfortunately there is a reason why.
