Almost makes me feel like a criminal in the sense that they think i am there to steal, and they like can't even hide it. They're not friendly at all, they lack that welcoming environment so much. I went today to see if its changed and it has not. Its safe to say, we are done for good with them. I rather pay more and drive further out to buy our sports gear. If theres anything they can change is; don't assume people are just going to rob you, and if you do assume do not make it obvious, still be helpful and friendly because you don't know if someone might be a loyal and returning customer, smile and be friendly, customer service is one of the most important things in keeping customers! I have been in business for many years and have met thousands of people throughout my life, but every once in a while, you come across someone who leaves a lasting impression on your heart. Damien was one of those people. From the moment he greeted me, he treated me with kindness, respect, and genuine professionalism. Every word was spoken with courtesy: "Yes, sir," "Thank you, sir," and "It's a pleasure to help you, sir." His manners, patience, and willingness to assist were truly remarkable. As I spoke with him, I couldn't help but think back to my own teenage years. Damien reminded me of a time when respect, humility, and strong values were the foundation of a young person's character. Seeing such a respectful and hardworking young man today touched me deeply. In fact, I had tears in my eyes because it gave me hope and reassurance that there are still wonderful young people in this world. His parents deserve tremendous credit for raising such an outstanding young man, and Dick's Sporting Goods should be extremely proud to have Damien representing their company. He is a shining example of what customer service should be and what good character looks like. Damien, thank you for your kindness, your professionalism, and your respect. You made my shopping experience unforgettable. Young men like you are rare, and I hope your managers recognize what a valuable asset you are to their team. May God bless you and your future. Keep working hard, stay humble, and never change. The world needs more young people like you.
