First and foremost - so grateful that I found this place! I was desperately looking into getting my wedding dress tailored. I definitely waited last minute but I didn't think fixing it was going to be a big deal. I called about 10 places and NO ONE even wanted to take the time to see my dress once I told them it had designed flowers and small pendants at the bottom since I needed it cut. I called here and they asked me to bring it in to take a look. After trying it on and looking at material she said yes she can do it! OMG I cried happy tears. The service was fast, reliable, and reasonable in price. I'm so happy I found this place! My wedding dress fit PERFECT and looks so great. Took a blazer to have the sleeves shorted. Asked the lady to alter up to where the sleeve was rugged (elastic). When I went to pick it up I noticed they removed the elastic and kept the length!! First and foremost, I have big legs and butt. I have like these Thunder Thighs. I bought some new Levi's 501. I always buy a size up so I can fit my Christmas Ham like things into a pair of pants. The leg opening for a size 40 Levi's 501 is pretty wide. Too wide for my liking, anyways. I like my jeans to be tapered, so I brought them here. They did an amazing job with my jeans. I absolutely love them! They did an 8 and a half inch taper on my jeans, and it fits perfectly!!! The quality of work is first class, top notch stuff! You'd swear they made the jeans themselves. I took 3 pairs to get tapered and it came out to $12 per jean. You might think it's steep but the work they put in, it's worth every penny. Now I have a 4 jeans rotation added to my ever day life! On May 4th I took a dress to get fix from sides and the hem . I get charged 50 dollars for the service. Okay , more than I was expecting but I value people's work , so no problem . I go pick up my dress a week after , on a Tuesday only to find out it was too long still. I called the man , he tells me he's so busy he CANNOT fix my dress until next week . Okay , what if I would of needed my dress for that weekend!!!!! Good thing I didn't so I agreed to take until Monday May 20th . When I arrived on May 20th , I try my dress to show him the dress is too long and to make it worse the back is longer than the front. He gets a ruler and started measuring like he should of done since the get go. When we are done with measurements, he does the note and tells me it will be 30 dollars to hem the dress!!!!! So basically he wanted to charge me to fix his mistake!!!! He explained to me his reasons , that it would take him 40 min to fix it and the length was a factory defect! I explained to him that I had already paid for that service and I was not asking for any additional work but for him to fix the length of the dress as that was the reason I took the dress in the first place . He made me feel as if I didnt want to pay for a service I had already paid for . At the end , he agreed to do it without any additional cost. I am short and most dresses do not fit because they are too long in the shoulder. I brought in two dresses one that needed the shoulder piece to be reduced and the other that needed to be taken in around the chest area but had a side zipper and flouncy layer. Very upset and mad! I went here because my dry cleaners recommended them. They said they have 50 years of experience. I first asked if my dress could be fixed, he did mention it was going to be a bit tuff but ended up saying he could do it. He did need extra time, I said okay. I dropped off my dress on 6/17/2021 he said pick it up on 6/30. When I showed up the dress was not ready he said come back Tuesday 6th. I ended up picked up on the 7th to find out that my dressed was even not worked on. The man that was there said their machines broke so on and so far. I told him I understand but my dress has been here for about 3 weeks now. I was so mad I took the dress and said thank you. I understand that things happen but a call would of been nice.
