This place is very local, within walking distance from the house but she ALWAYS busy! She never has time to hem a garment or take a waist in. I have been looking for a tailor for a while, and I'm happy to say that I finally found one. I had seven items, needed hemming and five of those items also required alterations. My mom also had a pair of pants that she needed hemmed, so that made eight items total. The price was phenomenal! Elena was so helpful and professional. She marked my items up swiftly and knew exactly what I needed without having to explain too much. I went on a Monday afternoon after a holiday, and Elena had my items done the same day! I couldn't believe it. When I got my items, they were perfect! They were perfectly hemmed and meticulously stitched. 10/10 recommend. Great service, prices and her store is very clean. We've used her now for alterations on 3 gowns- my daughter's Sweet 16 dress, which was a full tulle and sequins ball gown that needed to be taken in and straps sewn, my gown for the Sweet 16 which needed an entire floor-length lining sewn in. Recently Elene completely a major alteration on my daughter's Prom gown, essentially reworking the chest area to reduce the size a full 3 cups and then reworking and redesigning all the beading and sequin. When we got there, she informed us that she had a lot of work and wasn't sure she could get it done by the day my daughter would need it. Very understandable.
