Almost makes me feel like a criminal in the sense that they think i am there to steal, and they like can't even hide it. They're not friendly at all, they lack that welcoming environment so much. I went today to see if its changed and it has not. Its safe to say, we are done for good with them. I rather pay more and drive further out to buy our sports gear. If theres anything they can change is; don't assume people are just going to rob you, and if you do assume do not make it obvious, still be helpful and friendly because you don't know if someone might be a loyal and returning customer, smile and be friendly, customer service is one of the most important things in keeping customers! I went one of those 3 times about 5 yrs ago. 5 months pregnant, with my 2 sons (aged 4 and 6) to get my husband a father's day gift and even then, I felt that way. They have a nice clean store and set up. We usually like to help mom and pop stores, but this is just ridiculous the lack of customer service.

I have been in business for many years and have met thousands of people throughout my life, but every once in a while, you come across someone who leaves a lasting impression on your heart. Damien was one of those people. From the moment he greeted me, he treated me with kindness, respect, and genuine professionalism. Every word was spoken with courtesy: "Yes, sir," "Thank you, sir," and "It's a pleasure to help you, sir." His manners, patience, and willingness to assist were truly remarkable. As I spoke with him, I couldn't help but think back to my own teenage years. Damien reminded me of a time when respect, humility, and strong values were the foundation of a young person's character. Seeing such a respectful and hardworking young man today touched me deeply. In fact, I had tears in my eyes because it gave me hope and reassurance that there are still wonderful young people in this world. While I was there I was overhearing a young man named Kevin (based on his name badge/lanyard) and im assuming he is a manager or lead... becuase he was speaking to another young lady about his staff and complaining about them. I understand I am a customer but when I hear management openly complaining about staff I think it is so unprofessional and some things needs to be kept in the office. Also this same person seemed to get a message over their ear piece and sounded so nice and cheerful and immediately looked annoyed and started to talk crap about the employee who asked the question. This was so unprofessional and Kevin if you are reading this, maybe dont be a lead/manager if you are going to get annoyed with your staff, no one works at Dicks and makes it their career, its retail it is not that serious. If an employee asks you a question maybe help them instead of talking crap behind thier back. To the young lady who walked me over to Nike, youre doing amazing and thank you for your assistance. I hope they treat you kindly and dont work under Kevin.
