I used to treat myself once a month and go here for lunch with a couple of colleagues from work. It is not expensive but buying food in central London every day can be. So my monthly treat was to go to this tiny restaurant in Curzon St. It is simple in design and very much down to earth, not dissimilar to a café in terms of seating etc. The food is Lebanese and they offer kebab type food. Not kebab that is reconstituted and served in a paper wrapper but individual kebabs made with fresh meat in a diced format and served with a salad on the side and little flat breads. It is the best food I have had in that area in over 6 years. It beats all the upmarket restaurants etc by a mile. I have now given up the rat race and it was therefore with excitement that I made a special journey into town to see if it was still as good as I remember. Fantastic is the answer, as good as it ever was. I will be jumping on the tube again (not in the rush hour) to go and visit my friends again.

Rude rude rude !!! We went there looking to get dinner Upon arrival we were greeted by a very RUDE waiter who was blocking the door. I assumed we needed reservations to be there and when I asked he said NO you don't need reservations but continued to block the door not allowing us to enter the restaurant??? He just stood there staring at us. He didn't move out of the way, he didn't offer us a table, he just did there and stared it was a very uncomfortable for the both of us. He also looked like he had been beaten up maybe someone hit him in the head too hard. We were extremely disappointed and decided to go somewhere else due to his rude behavior.

I eat here whenever I am in Mayfair at lunch or dinner. By far the best Lebanese in central London. The staff are also super nice.

Most overrated place ever... I kept seeing long queues outside this place for ages and I really…read morewanted to see what all the hype was about. There's 3 main burger options and then you add all the toppings you like to customise your burger. While my boyfriend asked for all of the toppings I asked for the plain bacon cheeseburger as I wanted something simple. I obviously tried both options and they were equally disappointing. My boyfriend's burger was juicier than mine for to the peppers and onions that made it taste more fresh, while mine was a mass of meat and plastic-y cheese that I can easily dub 'the artery clogger' because it felt like I'd need a double bypass after eating it. Not to mention that the bacon was bone dry and crunchy, borderline burnt to a crisp and breaking in crumbs when you bit into it. Honestly worst bacon I've ever tried. To be honest the variety of toppings was very underwhelming as the choices were something you expect from a basic burger (mayo, onions, tomatoes etc). With gourmet burgers in your average pub offering avocado, egg or pulled pork and even your local spoons burger coming with onion rings, Five Guys is really not bringing anything new to the table. The skin on chips were enough to vaguely justify the £4 and they were decent so I was happy with them. However, my highlight was getting free pints of water which on its own says a lot about what this place has to offer. This place is a glorified Mc Donald's with pretty much the same quality as far as flavour or texture are concerned and five times the price to fool you int thinking it's a real restaurant. I do not intend to go back there again as it was a complete waste of money to eat something basic and unhealthy.

Five Guys - Banana milkshake to die for... It's so thick that even with only a little left the straw stays upright!
