One of my favorite places to go when I'm hungry for Turkish meal I love it way too much you got a big portion of food and it's very filling

The perfect antidote to a hard night on the tiles, Woody Grill is perfectly between the tube station and the buses north. Quiet a small space, it does have a seating area upstairs but this always seems to be closed late at night and so serves no purpose. The menu is your typical kebabs, thankfully their shish kebabs on the grill are very tasty though i could never try the elephant leg so couldn't comment on it. The chips are a bit cheap tasting but, then again, they actually are cheap so... The venue also sells some proper meals of lamb shanks and rice and some salads so there should be something for every drunk person that drifts in there.

I'm not sure if this is the best kebab shop in Camden Town, but if it isn't... the others must be out of this world. Woody Grill is an excellent place where I've enjoyed the fruits of the grill on many a night out. I once came here with Toucs and he actually ordered another kebab immediately after finishing the first as it was so nice. I can recommend the lamb shish - it really hits the spot.

This is what you get if you order a coke

Good location. They try to make too much profit of the space by placing too many tables too close. It didn't help for us the fact that we got seats by the worst and loudest table neighbours ever. The service was a bit slow, and the place noise. There's a coffee station in the sitting area where they keep cleaning dishes quite loud. However, the food was great, and after we managed to order it came quite quickly.

After a long day of walking around London, we found our way back to Camden Town and were starved…read more And it was 10 p.m. A bag of crisps wasn't gonna cut it. Enter Istanbul. Kebabs? Sure! But let me tell you...this is SO much more than just another kebab shop! I wish I could tell you what we ordered, but I can't. Mine was a stewed lamb atop hot bits of pita and slathered in their house sauce (like sour cream.) Oh good lawd IT WAS SO GOOD! Also equally delish was the hummus and pita. Service was super, food was amazing. Do yourself a favor and visit! I wish we were locals so we could eat our way through the entire menu. P.S. They do Uber Eats/new delivery if that's more convenient for you!

OMG! So much food…read more Between the 2 of us, we ordered 1 main course (iskander kebab) and 3 starters (sausages, imam bayildi - stuffed aubergine and falafel). The food was all super tasty, but we had so much leftover! Both of us had skipped lunch and were having early dinner, but we barely put a dent on the amount of food that arrived. As soon as we ordered, we were brought Turkish style bread lovingly buttered and 4 different dips (hummus, minty yoghurt, cheese and a tomato one). This itself would have been a sufficient meal for us both. The falafel came settled on a bowl of hummus. The side salad with the main arrived in a plate of its own. Service was very fast and the lady serving us was lovely as were the line of chefs we passed by on our way in and out. When you peep through he window, it looks like a tiny kebab place, but they have really comfortable seating at the back. Some of the other places we wanted to eat at in Camden on a Friday night were completely full, so we entered this place on a whim, but left completely dated and satisfied.

This place is so fresh-it feels really nice to eat here after being in search of FRESH & lite fare!…read moreThe salad they provide is delicious and they also give you their yogurt and cucumber dip along with delicious home baked flat bread..ALL DELICIOUS already. Next the appetizers, the Baba ghanough was one of my favorite starters-it was so perfectly made and balanced, different and better than what I'm used to. The fried halloumi is fried cheese...def a win-I love halloumi cheese! The feta and melon was good; the feta is a mild feta cheese (which I actually liked). We were already pretty full here, but then our orders came. We ordered the iskandar kabob, Adana kabob, and chicken doner...everyone was happy and ate almost all of their food (and there is a lot of food) We couldn't resist ordering dessert, considering how delicious the food was...it was a must! And WOW.....it's a must. The kunafa-#1 top kunafa I've ever had...served with cream/butter that is exceptionally tasty with the kunafa! The rice pudding-#2 favorite and delicious! Not too sweet, slight hint of rosewAter...tasty! The cheesecake-#3-fresh pomegranate on top of delicious not too sweet cheese. This was my sisters favorite. She claimed it was one of the most unique and delicious cheesecakes she has ever had! The baklava:#4 the pistachios in the baklava were so delicious, but this wasn't our favorite balaclava ever! I would fly to London to eat here!

Harringay Green Lanes is scattered with excellent Turkish restaurants. Gökyüzü is one of them...and…read moreit's one of the busiest, having received a write up in the Guardian recently. My go-to dish is the Adana Köfte - I go for the large portion. It comes with a delicious side salad (traditionally liberally sprinkled with Sumac) and a heaping of fat bread and yogurt dip. The atmosphere is busy...it's a large space. But the service is efficient and quick. This is a great place to go to with a larger group as they have excellent sharing platters.
