I am so extremely disappointed in this business as it had such good reviews! I was so disappointed in the way my daughter and I got spoken to by the host at the door who had obviously made assumptions about us by the way we looked. I was extremely saddened and hurt by my experience and I hope by reading this review that the restaurant management provide their staff with training on unconscious bias. Arguably the best Chicken Donner ever! Popular late night spot and I grab a Medium Chicken Donner take-away after a night out in the city. They have a home made chilli sauce which is out of the world and the meat is cooked to perfection and never dry. For £4.90 for medium it is a value meal. The staff are friendly and the place is clean. Bang opposite the Harrow-on-the-hill tube/bus station. They have a restaurant attached and do sit-in or take-away. Cannot be missed as you can smell the wonderful cooking a block away!!! Highly recommended. Four stars only because sometime the staff don't see waiting customers and keep chit chatting. read more

In my short stay of seven days in Harrow, I patronized this place three times. We ate in the cafe once and the other two times I had the food to go. The restaurant isclean. The staff are friendly friendly. The food was fantastic. Because we asked questions on some of the items in the menu, the waiter gave us samples. At the end of the meal, we were treated to dessert. If I do go back to Harrow, this would be the first place to visit. In my opinion it is the only good place to eat in that area. They have the best chicken donner!!! read more

Kebabland is, quite possibly, my favorite Mediterranean restaurant in the world. When I lived in London, I ate here at least once a week. The restaurant has a to-go window, where they'll wrap up a slice of their famous Turkish pizza, a kebab, a falafel... and send it home with you. The restaurant itself is nice - casual, lots of wood, clean lines. The portions are HUGE. A chicken kebab platter can last me three meals. That's my favorite thing on the menu. My brother in law loves the lamb and my sister mixes it up. The menu is extensive, with sanwiches, different meats, stews desserts... my young nieces swear by the rice and chips. Not to miss when you eat here is the sour cherry juice. It might not sound great, but I swear, it is. The hummus is tasty and the garlic sauce is EXCELLENT. I wish I knew what they put in it. Truly memorable. I'm planning a trip to London in September and I'll DEFINITELY be eating at Kebabland. The fact that it's right across the street from the Harrow in the Hill tube station makes it easy to access. read more

This is a review for the restaurant not the take away section of Kebabland. I've been to this restaurant a few times and the food has always been very appetizing. Situated across from the station it's easy to get to, it looks quite appealing from outside and the prices aren't steep. Inside is a quite bright, lot of wood and tiles, a bit too bright I feel and dimmer lights would create a better mood and sometimes it can feel dull especially when it's empty. The waiters are quite friendly also and will occasionally have a joke/small convo with you. Quite large portions, I usually get Lamb Doner with rice and salad which is delicious particularly with a lovely big serving of their tasty garlic sauce. I would suggest this for a nice relaxed lunch or dinner with a bill fetching less than £20 for two persons. read more

Have ordered take away and eaten inside numerous times. On the restaurant side, there are plenty of tables and the place always looks spotless including the toilets. I prefer the service when eating in, as I found on the take away side you get much smaller portions and definitely a less friends service. The food is delicious and I have never had a meal I didn't enjoy, I especially love the iskendar and adana kebabs and the Turkish pizzas lahmacun...yummy. My sister and I used to get starters to share but we could never finish all the food especially all the fresh bread. The prices are average and well worth the money especially when you eat in. The owner is very friendly and I always enjoy the banter while waiting for my food. Overall a fab Turkish restaurant with tasty dishes awaiting you. read more

When ordering the donor kebab, always ask for additional pickles, it will help your meal go a lot further :) and pile on that chilli sauce! This place is great for when you are still hungover from a heavy weekend of drinking. I got the mixed donor with extra chips, salad and extra pickles. After a few bites here and there, I was cured!!!! The service is also very good, and at the time they were also showing the Euro's match. With a takeaway and a restaurant just next door you already see that Kebabland gives you a choice before you even step through the door. The takeaway is open all day and right into the late night. The staff are attentive and quick in both establishments which is great and the food is delicious!!! Kebabs, chicken, burgers with salad and chips or rice at the takeaway and a great range of food including healthier options and some authentic Turkish cuisine on the restaurant menu. Also you can see the kitchen, which I love because I know that my food is being cooked somewhere clean! It is very popular amongst the locals- as one of them you have my word! Kebab land is good for a quick, good tasting and cheap kebab, especially after a drunk night out (Cough cough, What? Don't judge me). You can get a meal deal of chicken doner meat, lamb doner meat, lamb kofte or lamb kofte with chips included for less than a fiver. If you fancy a quick good taster with chips. Or you can just get a Kebab for just over 4 quid. They are really nice and they are always friendly. Only downside to them is the waiting period. It varies between 5 - 20 minutes, for food that should normally be precooked and ready just to dish out. Apart from that, they are very good. read more

Been here twice now. Had Kofte kebab the first time. Felt I got more than I paid for which was great. Great customer service too. I did have hair in my food but we were in a rush for a film that day, so my friend just switched plates with me and ate around the hair. I am pretty sure they would have just gotten me a new plate as they were that nice. Second visit I had ordered the steak, it was pretty much like chewing rubber. No taste in the steak at all. The vegetables only consisted of green and red peppers. Once again, staff were great, they were always on the lookout. They even told us about the free bread they give, it is pretty nice bread too. Was warm and everything. They have quite a few sauces to pick from to go with your food which was great. I would advise you go for the kebabs, what they are known for. Situated just outside Harrow-on-the-Hill tube station, this shop has a lot of walk-in customers as well as regulars. The shop is divided into a takeaway and a restaurant-like part. While the restaurant part is bright and clean, it seems too bright and too clean to be comfortable. The overall feel is best compared to an airport. Nevertheless the choice of dishes offered is big so everyone with a fondness for turkish and arabian cuisine should find something. When I first went there, I've been to the restaurant part and had the Köfte Kebab with rice and salad and an Ayran. My food got served with a couple of sauces (chili, garlic and others) to choose from. But enjo with caution! I've found the garlic sauce to be addictive. Staff was friendly and very attentive, yet not obstrusive. Just right. After the meal, I got a turkish tea free of charge as I had expected from a proper turkish restaurant. The second time I was there, I've been to the takeaway part and had a Lamb Döner. Well what should I say. I've had a lot of turkish food in both Germany and England and for some reason the Turks seem to lose their ability of making quality Döner meats on their journey over the channel. Sorry England, but you're doing it wrong. Anyway, I'll give this shop another try because what I've seen so far looked very promising. this is what you'd call a more up market kebab shop! Based centrally in Harrow opposite the tube station / bus station it has a take away and a restaurant part. The restaurant part is nice enough to go for lunch or for an informal evening meal, the insides are clean and pleasant although the toilets were a bit dirty last time I went. The service is good and the staff friendly. We took our toddler there and there were child-friendly. Recommended for nice Turkish food, not just Kebabs! One word - take away service is slow! I wanted to give this place minus stars but wasn't able to. It is vile, horrible, disgusting. Yesterday I talked with some friends about the best and worst Kebab places in the Harrow area, and everyone agreed that this was the worst. The prices are high, the staff are rude and look dirty, the kebabs are small, greasy and use dried out pitta bread. They pile on the lettuce and salad so they don't have to give you much meat. My friend said she took her's straight back after opening the box and got a full refund. Best avoided at all costs. read more

Really poor service. I used to go regularly but the food is not what it used to be and the staff are rude and arrogant, with no regard to customers. The kebab was hard and rubbery and the staff were rude when i tried to complain. They told me to "go elsewhere if I didn't like it!" Customer service training needed! Avoid! read more

for a very filling meal for under a tenner this is the place to go. not a vegetarian station but a meat eater's paradise. i love the food here and its fresh and kept well. if ur pushy enough then u can always ask for them to carve the meat fresh off the spit in front of u instead of taking out of the reserve tin. i love the chicken here and the fact that the restuarant is in two sections- one main restaurant to sit down a seperate take away stations. a piece of adivce if ur takin away- ask to get the sauces in seperate containers. this will avoic ur pitta going soggy by the time u reach home. id say stay away from the turkish pizza- though cheap i didnt really like it- all it really is is a big nan with ver sparcely spread mince on it and then folded in half. my brother loves it but not my cup of tea. a smile always goes a long way- dont flirt or go OTT but a please and a thankyou never hurt anyone. after a few times you'll find that u magically get the fresh meat without asking and some extra salad. and now its even more amazing as they've started home delivering!! read more

Bit overpriced for a kebab! Service not too fast either and they usually bring someones order out after everyone else on the table has almost finished. Still its very clean with a pleasant atmosphere so I suppose you get what you pay for. read more

kebabland is a glorified kebab shop. in the restaurant their prices are inflated to an unreasonable amount, the inside is dull and no music or atmosphere at all. for some reason the best seats are always reserved but nobody is ever sitting in them, some waiters have selective hearing some are very nice and friendly. they have some nice dishes like the stuffed aubergine which are a winner aswell as the mousaka. the turkish bread is nice too. the chicken doner is oily, the lamb kebab same as from the takeaway section so not worth as much, they are not as good quality as a restaurant such as izgara in edgeware. If you want a good feed then this is a decent place, prices a little high but the food is nice and usually friendly service. read more
