Sooooo, I just located my new favorite restaurant/bar which is located in the New Albany Target strip mall right. Let me tell you their food is completely mind blowing! I had a Swiss hamburger with the most tongue slapping Parmesan fries with a balsamic drizzle, and my friend had the grilled Swiss chicken sandwich alongside white cheddar mac & cheese. I also tried there wolf Ridge draft beer with quite a lil kick at 10%. Our server Miss Fallon was extremely helpful with recommendations on their extensive line of brews, even giving me a few to sample. Rather surprised at all the different variations of drafts on tap. This is definitely a beer lovers paradise..... and the food is a bonus. So if you're looking for a place to just meet with friends, enjoy the game or just unwind after a long work week, this is the place. I got the opportunity to meet Miss Kiara, the self-taught, beyond talented chef. ‍ Her dishes are a true masterpiece. The restaurant it's self, has an entire side wall of openings glass doors which leads to a large patio area. A cute, little local restaurant in New Albany. I am very surprised they are doing as well as they are though. Food is not the greatest. But great beer selection. I had an orange creamsicle sour. (Your girl's FAV). But I would 0% waste money on the food. Service was bomb. Cute outdoor seating. Pretty small inside. Setup like a wing place. I got a buffalo chicken wrap and I am truly not sure what it really was, but it most definitely was not chicken. Perfect location right off the highway next to lots of things. First of all the place was being run by two young lady's that were just kicking butt and taking care of all the customers. We ordered the wings. My wife ordered boneless wings. I ordered wings with bone in and each of us had a beer the beer, of course was good. Perfect temperature perfect everything but the wings definitely stood out. My wife said her boneless wings were some of the best she's ever had my bone in wings with the largest I've had in a very long time. These people definitely pick out the best food for their customers before preparing and serving it. Their wings are not fried. They are simply baked, but you would never know the difference. I've been a few times now, and have always had good service, food, and drinks. For Happy Hour (HH) they have 1/2 price pizza & wine, and 25% off cocktails. They serve a fine New Old Fashioned. The staff behind the bar is usually very attentive. Their beer on tap selection is pretty good. They have really really good pizza and I love the Popeye, which is a veggie pie. I also really like the Harvest salad minus the feta. This is a nice spot for HH and we always sit at the bar. While they don't serve Reisling, they have Sauv Blanc, a pleasant subsitute. read more

My husband and I stopped in on a slow night. We were the second couple at the bar when we sat down and there was only one table occupied in the seating area. Despite this, it took us ten minutes to be greeted by somebody. We waited so long I was ready to get up and go somewhere else but my husband protested and convinced me to stick it out. When the bartender finally showed up she was very kind and made me a very delicious manhattan and that was the only highlight. We decided to try some appetizers before ordering our entrees. We got the Parmesan fries and some chicken bites. When our food came out it was lukewarm, gross and basically inedible but my husband being the human garbage disposal he is shrugged it off and ate it anyway. My wife and I have been pleased with our experience here both times so far! Earlier in the Fall, the weather was nice enough so we could sit on the patio. More recently, we sat inside, but I felt socially distanced an safe in our own area. I've done a flight of beers both times I was here. I love that they have so many selections on draft and they also have wine and cocktails for my wife. She enjoyed the Cinn Sip cocktail, while I enjoyed my tour of sours and IPAs. The food is intriguing as well! While we didn't arrive hungry either time, the food piqued my interest with their HUGE soft pretzel- can't wait to try it, and I'm a bit of a pizza connoisseur, so I'll have to come back, ready to carb up! I did try the garden chipotle chili, as I appreciated the vegetarian option! Pretty good for a snack! I noticed they have live music and trivia weekly here. I went to Beerhead bar and eatery today for dinner with one of my friends and it happened to be trivia night. Trivia night is every Wednesday from 7 PM to 8:30 PM which in my opinion is a little early for trivia so I was unable to play. My friend and I asked what was good on the menu and was recommended to try the barbarian pretzel, which was too salty for my liking. It was huge, see my picture below which is why it states that it could serve about 4 people. We also ordered the harvest which I highly recommend but was not a big fan of the dressing. The salad comes with romaine, spinach, julienned apples, candied pecans, dried cranberries, feta and poppy seed dressing. It was the perfect amount for two to split. I look forward to coming back and either trying a pizza or the brisket grilled cheese sammie as it sounded amazing. read more

First time at this new location of Beerhead and I was super impressed. Husband and I really enjoyed out on the nice,clean patio to keep socially distant during COVID19 outbreak. There were lots of drinks and beers on the menu, and tons of yummy food options. We tried the Maui pizza and the pita and queso. The pico de Gallo and queso were amazing with lots of flavor! The pizza crust was so yummy and tasted like fresh dough and tasty toppings. It was big enough for two to share, with leftovers. Overall had a great experience at Beerhead. We have been here several times at this point and the quick service, long list of beer on tap, and great patio ambiance make this one of our go-tos. Came here for the bengals game with my boyfriend. When we arrived, it wasn't too busy, but as time went on, almost all tables were full. There was only one server, but she did great and really held it down! Management was also helping out so as a former server, that's a plus in my book. I wanted a flight to try different beers and venture out and he ended up suggesting my absolute favorite of the 5! Lost Coast Tangerine Wheat (he said it was similar to Blue Moon, which I don't care for) was amazing. Fresh and clean! My husband got Del's Shandy again and loved it. We all ordered pizza and was not disappointed. Funny enough, we especially loved my son's cheese pizza! It was just the right amount of saucy and cheesy on a yummy crust. Ordered one "Chicagoland" pizza for takeout. I used their online ordering system, which was simple to maneuver. It was a Friday night, and the quoted pick up time was 1 hour. I'm not sure if this was because they were busy on a Friday night (very possible!) or for other reasons. We chose the curbside pick up option, but when we arrived there did not appear to be any "curbside" designated parking spots. Not a huge deal, but worth noting. We enjoyed our midweek lunch. Our server was Rob who was also the bartender. We pretty much had the place to ourselves. I enjoyed my Sunday Chicken sandwich with fries. Had a stout draft. The draft beer selection here us phenomenal and Rob gave good advice. We will return. First time coming here and the wife & I absolutely loved it! We were greeted right away with a friendly hello & a smiling face (even with a face mask on, we could tell the hostess was smiling). We sat outside on the patio which was shaded from the sun so the temperature was perfect. They have one of the biggest selections of beers I've seen for central Ohio, with I think about 30 different beers on tap & then another 30-40 different bottles/cans. The wife and I each got a pizza which both were delicious and around $14 per pizza. Even though we didn't get a Bavarian pretzel, we saw others get them & they were HUGE!! We ordered a brisket grilled cheese on rye and bbq chicken bites. The menu is pretty small... not much to choose from. My husband said he wouldn't even feed the brisket to our dog. THAT is how terrible it is. It was just a thick piece of rubber on a disgusting grilled cheese with a couple jalapeños. Chicken bites are subpar frozen chicken chunks served in a bowl on a bed of lettuce (maybe to give the illusion you're getting more than 8 chicken chunks for 12 dollars??) Food is insanely overpriced for quality/portion size. We will never come here again... save your money and go to Chili's next door. We did mention our dissatisfaction with the brisket to our waitress and were offered churro bites but declined- no thanks. I'm not sure how this place stays open... This was our first time there and probably the last. I had the Smoked brisket burger with baked potato salad and my wife had the chicken salad sandwich with pasta salad. When the food arrived it definitely looked pretty good but then I noticed the baked potato salad was made with red potatoes, which I absolutely cannot stand the taste of. As I said my wife got the side of pasta salad. We were going to switch until I tasted hers and that was not going to work either. So I proceeded with the sandwich that was a brisket patty along with two slices of brisket. The first bite was a glob of fat that just would not chew, spit it out. Second bite same thing spit it out so the slices were removed. The rest of the sandwich was edible but was nothing to get excited about. After removing the slices I tried pulling on the slices to see how done they were and not to my surprise they weren't even close to being done. Really hard to pull.
