Pepperoni & Sausage

Pizza Pizza. The pizza is excellent and wings are a decent m. But the pizza is the star of the show.

I go for the pizza which is excellent. I've tried a few pizzas and awesome taste. In the summer time they have an excellent outdoor patio. You'll definitely want to try their pizza!

Great pizza!

Met friends for an after-work drink, ordered their pizza, and was pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff and a great local pub!

North City Tavern is of course in the northern area of Columbus. It's good for a strip mall bar. They have a good patio. It's also pretty clean inside. The service is friendly usually. If you think that because it's in a strip mall it's lame, it isn't so bad. It had a pretty relaxing atmosphere thanks to the cool rock music on the radio. The service is pretty friendly most of the time. At one time they used to have food. Right now it seems they aren't using the kitchen. In spite of this, it's still a good place to drink. The cocktails are pretty cheap at about $3 for a vodka. It's kind of in a lame location, but this is a nice bar. There's a lot of traffic in this area, but it can also be reached by taking Lazelle from Sancus. You should still be able to have a good time.

Cobb salad. Looks great, tastes even better.

Kitchen was extremely fast and tasty. Had the Cobb salad. Everything on it was as if just picked today. Corn right off the cob. Bacon was a bonus. Looked great, tasted even better. And, they have NTN trivia! Came back the next night for the cheese tray I read about in Yelp and the chili. Needed to bring someone else to finish it all. Cheese plate was crazy good for a bar like this. Ordered the spicy chili that was anything but spicy. Also, too many beans for my liking. But did I mention how good the cheese plate was? And, they have good Bourbon. A local single barrel called Watershed.

This oasis is up white stairs on the southern banks of the great parking-lot bay off 23 and Lazelle. A roomy neighborhood pub it has a long rectangle bar, comfy booths, pinball and billiard table with space to contort yourself for the dream shot without whacking a 6'6 muscle freak in the face on the kickback. The space is clean and shiny under the blue and red illuminations of the beer signs. What stands out is the staff, it seems this place takes 'welcoming' as a serious concept. The staff seems trained to make you feel like a known face on entrance. They balance the customer check in just right; always on the spot, never too much. They mix drinks just right. A mainstream bar they have a nice selection of crafts on tap, as well in bottles. The staff could be more knowledgeable though, I asked about one and they didn't know about it. Not the worse thing, they do give you a taste, I am sure it will be worked out with experience. Acoustics here are awesome. When playing jukebox or on karaoke night the sounds ring loud and clear. Many live band venues in town could use their walls. It is a fun place, a hangout, that distinguishes itself from the like by its wonderful staff and comfy environment.

Tavern Classic Works. Yum!
P G.

The service here in my one experience was poor. The pizza was really good and we tried a weird Sweet Baby Jesus chocolate peanut butter porter, which was very interesting. More peanut butter than chocolate, but drinkable. The bartender seemed to have the place to herself on the late Friday afternoon three friends and I stopped in for an early dinner. There were about 10 people in the place, half at the bar, including us, and the other half at a table. We ordered two Tavern Classic Works pizzas to share, some soft drinks (and the one beer) and chips and salsa as an appetizer. After waiting until our first round of beverages were gone we had to ask here where the appetizer was. She then brought it out immediately. They were good but not excellent. The pizzas, however, were really really good! Flat and thin, the crust was outstanding and the ingredients all seemed fresh (no canned mushrooms but fresh!) -- and the cheese was of very good quality. It appeared when the first pizza came out that we wouldn't suffice because not only did we not have silverware (had to get her attention and ask for it--she might be hard of hearing?) but the toppings were a bit on the light side. But wow was it good (and satisfying). After a slice it became clear that the amount of toppings was perfect when blended with the good sauce, excellent crust and cheese. Again though on the service! Of our two pizzas ordered, one was without mushrooms. The one WITH mushrooms (which is the way they come normally) came out first. Okay, the guy who can't eat mushrooms will have to wait... TEN minutes later the second one finally came out. At no time did the bartender/waitress communicate what the delay was or let us know in advance there would be such a long wait in between the pies. We were just happy to have it at this point. Again, try the Tavern Classic Works pizza, it was excellent for us. Just don't expect excellent service.

Great little dive bar and the pizza is some of the best I've had in Columbus. Great service, too.

Went to this bar for the Bucks game. All was good except for the bartender Sarah? who seemed to be an emotional twin of Amber Heard.

First time here and definitely will go back! I ordered six chicken wings and side of onion rings…read more The wings were very meaty and tasty. The onion rings weren't sliced thick which was a disappointment to me. Hubby ordered a side salad which he really enjoyed and a Ruben. He thought the Ruben was a bit dry thinking only one slice of bread had dressing on it. Ambiance was nice with lots of low tables and TV's and The Simpson painted on a huge wall. There's a huge outdoor seating area which would be perfect when the weather is nice. Service was good!

So I wanted to wait a bit before I left this review because I was annoyed!…read more So I seen this spot on TikTok and was intrigued so bae and I came by! Our waiter was pregnant and super nice and explained the menu and the layout of the bar!! I ordered deep fried pepperonis to try as an experience because I've never had that and I was curious. NASTY SHOULDN'T HAVE GOT IT SENT BACK! They have a doggie ice cream vending machine which is really cool and patio u can chill with your puppy dog on with and they have like game room where there are pool tables, darts etc things u will see in a bar! I walked in like aw a bar let's see what it's hitting for! I was excited to try the flaming hot Cheetos wings and the Grippo wings! So bae and I placed a very large order of wings! I asked if they will charge $1 per 6 wings for flats she said no they will charge just a $1 for the whole order of wings cool (or so we thought). Bae got 12 wings: 6 lemon pepper, and 6 flaming hot wings; I got 24 wings: 12 flaming hot, 6 grippo, and 6 something that starts with an F. Me and Babè tried the flaming hot Chito wings, and they were disgusting. It did not taste like the chip at all so we had them returned, which was a total of 16 wings. Yes, I know that is a lot but it was disgusting and I shouldn't have ordered 12 of the flaming hot for myself, but I could not allow myself to take something home that I wasn't going to eat Now the Grippo's and I do apologize but the other flavor of wings you can see in the picture. They were really delicious. Babè loved his lemon pepper wings as well and then we also got a basket of fries. On the menu, there was some pretzel twist that I wanted to try but when they brought it out, it was a Bavarian pretzel and I was a little confused, but I didn't mind it. I ate a little bit of it, broke it down and took it home also on the menu there was a doggy burger. You can either choose a chicken patty or a beef burger I think so I decided to get my dogs a little little treat; the beef burgers they were five dollars apiece. So in the picture, you will see two containers that has some chopped up meat in it. That is what they are calling the doggy hamburger or chicken patty. There was barely any meat I could have went to McDonald's and bought 10 cheeseburgers and had more meat than what I received for $10 in these two containers I didn't even bother to give them to my dogs. I have big dogs I have mastiffs so I decided to give that meat to the geese that live in my neighborhood. I was so over it that I spent $10 on that and who said that I wanted the meat chopped up like I have over 100 pound dogs why would you give me ground beef versus a whole patty? Just my train thought if it's for a dog! So when it was time for us to check out, they had comped the deep fry pepperonis cause I didn't like them, and then the manager came to us and said that he will give us 50% off for the flaming hot wings so when I got my bill. I was a little taken back by the price. We were originally quoted that they were only gonna just charge us a dollar per all the wings but no, they still charge me a dollar per six wings so in total we ate a total of 16 wings out of 34/35 wings so we got three $1 dollar charges. Then I tipped $40 because I like the waitress she did do a really good job and the owner was nice But if I was already gonna pay 50% for the wings, I might have just kept the wings and just rinse them and did what I wanted to do with them in my own house for my bill to be $105 when I left No, the owner did have us try. His flavor of wings with the white barbecue sauce and it's another flavor of wings with it as well but they were nasty. We didn't like them. Will me and Babè come back of course we will probably come back and just purchase the lemon pepper and the grip of wings but I guess that's just part of learning a new place figuring out what it is that you do and don't like is the ambience something that I like no, I will probably just order for takeout. They do have over 26 different sauces that you can try and blend to make your own wings the way that you like them to be and then on certain days is Dollar wing night she did let me know, but I can't remember what day it was so I do apologize. You guys parking was a little hard as it is a very small parking lot. But you go check them out post your pictures. Tell me about your experience and we'll see you on the next one.
