Great food but carry out is a joke. Whatever time they say your carry out order will be ready is an absolute lie. Be prepared at to wait 45 min - 1 hour after your order is supposed to be ready. I ordered at 6:04. My order was supposed to be ready at 6:28. I arrived at 6:30. The Beeps staff ignored me for 15 minutes. Then I was told it would be another 10 minutes. At 6:53, I was told it would be another 10 minutes. I heard them ask for my garlic fries for my to go order at 7:12. At 7:17 I heard them mention other items in my to go order, so I guess that's when they got around to actually making my food. Beeps obviously has no issues making carry out customers wait an hour for their food whereas dine in customers are served quickly. It seems they prioritize dine in customers and don't care about carry out customers at all. I finally got my order at 7:26. Do not order carry out at Beeps unless you have nothing better to do than stand around for an hour waiting. read more

This is a family friendly diner I personally love their food. The people there are extremely friendly and kind. I have been coming here since it was Millie's it has cool old school decorations and beeps is just so fun to be at. If you need a place that is family friendly and nice Beeps is the place to go. Beeps serves up great food. I love their variety and when they do it right, it's usually delicious. But they need to get it together with management. Saturday evening we ordered food to go via their website Chowhound. I Arrived at the quoted 7:05pm time. Problem with waffle maker so they told me it'd be another 10 minutes. 40 minutes later, I leave with my food. Get home to find my burger missing bacon and the bacon on my egg order somehow subbed with sausage. I called the next day to speak to manager. They left me on hold for 10+ minutes only to come on and tell me no manager was there. They took my number to call me. Big surprise, no call. Sorry Beeps. I was doing a doordash for a customer at beeps and arrived upon time to pick up my order. I did the usual and told them what my order was and they said to wait outside, About 15 min passes and I go inside again. They tell me my order will be ready in 5 min and to wait outside. As 5 min goes by I go back inside, now they tell me my order will be ready in 2 min and to go back outside to wait. After 2 min I went inside and asked the employees what are you doing to get my order going, I did not get a response but the girl helping me out went to the back to check. She came back and said they are bagging up my order. I wait another 5 min and my order is still not ready, it wasn't till another 5 min that my order was read. Things to note was I was not properly updated by the employees about my order. Another thing to note was when I noticed a couple dine in when I got there, by the time i got my order they were just leaving. This takeout order/delivery took in total ( ~45 min ) to receive my order. read more

I ordered through door dash. I got the breakfast burrito for my hubby, they forgot the side of potatoes (not sure if it was the restaurant's error or the dasher's ‍). I ordered the stuffed French toast with eggs and sausage, but the name is misleading. It's not stuffed, more like the filling is layered in between the two pieces of bread. Everything was pretty good but disappointed in our first order there. I'll probably try somewhere else for breakfast next time. read more

The prices are great! The food tastes good! Service is garbage. I ordered Beeps with GrubHub. I ordered the California Benedict, which comes with bacon, tomato, & avocado instead of Canadian bacon. I hate Canadian bacon. I received a regular Benedict with loads of Canadian bacon. Had I ordered that, I'd have been stoked & this would likely be a 5 star review. However, I didn't order that. GrubHub was great about refunding the charge. I didn't ask for that, nor expect it. I called Beeps just to let them know of the snafu, not to complain so much as to inform them that as a new customer, the food looked great & we were excited to find a new place to order from, but that receiving the wrong item really soured that excitement & being more attentive to customers' orders would help with wanting to order from them again. I was asked to hold. I sat on hold for 10 minutes. I ate my incorrect food while on hold. It was yummy, in lieu of the Canadian bacon. Someone picked up, asked if I was someone I wasn't & put me back on hold. Another 5 minutes on hold & I hung up. This was a Friday at 11:00 am. I was prepared for it to be busy, but it was pretty unnecessary. My kid's burger looked great & she loved it. We will definitely try Beep's again because it was really tasty & decent sized, especially for the price. Hopefully I'll get what I order next time. ‍ I've added a photo of what I received. My family and I love this restaurant! Everything is so fresh, tasty and well-prepared. That said, however, we had an issue last week with our To Go order. I ordered the Summer salad w/out chicken and well done fries, along with the families order. We do carry out. When my food arrived, I noticed there was chicken on the salad, no strawberries and un-well done fries. Needless to say I was bothered. I called Beeps, explained the issue(s), and got the manager, Jose, on the phone immediately. He was wonderful! Although I had to go pick up my well-done fries and strawberries, it was fine. I pulled up, he came out, easy peasy. He also took off the salad and fries and apologized for the mistake. Look, mistakes happen. That's human nature. I must say tho, it was refreshing to not have a rude and/or argumentative manager who makes a big issue out of a simple solution. Kudos to Beeps training, management and staff! More restaurants in Simi should follow their lead when dealing with the public and customer service! It makes for loyal customers who will return time and again - my family is one of them. I went on Saturday morning at 9am and the wait for a party of 5 was only about 15 mins. The food was very good- I had the hobo breakfast burrito with turkey bacon and a couple bites of my sister in law's strawberry Nutella French toast because it was so much food she couldn't finish it. I'd go back again- they have such a huge menu, I'd be interested to try more things. The service was good- no problems there. read more

My hubby and i have been looking for new places to go on a dinner date before our Bible Study on a weekday. We have tried Beeps twice now because they have a great variety of food and even serve breakfast all day! It always has a crowd of locals in there. Nice Elvis music playing and 50s theme! Polite and friendly staff. I want to try the pie, but we always share a dessert at Bible study. So we will have to come back on another night to try that. read more

I've had service issues at Beeps (ie waiting 2 hours for my food) but the food honestly is so good. Great portions at great prices. I added biscuits and gravy to a meal for $1.50 and it was massive. The ambiance is very dismissive and very uncomfortable feeling towards myself a Latino gay male. I've been there three times and each with my Caucasian boyfriend Michael. Each time myself he have witnessed the various levels of different preferential treatment given to Caucasian customers including himself when with me dining. To the level that it was brought to a manager's attention and nothing was even said or done. Truly not a place to eat if you're a minority. I'm a new resident here after purchasing a home. Wonderful food. Not wonderful service. Their French toast and various pancakes are awesome. Their loaded waffles are insane, and I could eat their Hobo omelette every day. I wish their chicken and waffles used chicken versus tenders, but I have to stretch to find a food complaint. However, if you're ordering delivery, expect them to take longer than expected. Today's driver had to wait 15 minutes, which seems to be the norm. read more

Telling me that my order only came in 10 minutes ago when it was placed 25 minutes ago, and a different employee had already confirmed they were working on it. When in a few times for my early morning coffee and breakfast. Every time I've been here it takes the staff 10 to 15 minutes to even acknowledge me. Another 10 minutes to get a Togo order in. Another 15 minutes to get my to go order. I might as well have sat down and had my breakfast there lol. Whether you're focused on Chilaquiles or they're amazing options for eggs Benedict, beeps delivers time and time again. The service has always been amazing and nothing better than a great breakfast on Sunday morning topped off with a to-go milkshake. Just got to go from here food arrived piping hot! For me, it lacked a little bit of salt but I think it's probably perfect for this community. They portions are huge and the food is quite tasty. I got the diner breakfast with scrambled eggs, potatoes and a biscuit with gravy. I also added a side of bacon, which was surprisingly not very salt in the best way.Little minerals after taste in the potatoes and biscuit-filtered water goes a long way, word of advice, when you are soaking potatoes and mixing the batter for biscuits with water from the tap you can taste it in the food. Other than that I'm really pleased with everything they followed all the directions in my order and everything was prepared very well. I may even order here again!!! read more

I took my girlfriend and her kids to get shakes. We looked up shake places and found Beeps. So we drove to get shakes. I was very disappointed with their service. I first went into order and after a few minutes the bus boy asked if I needed help, told him I wanted to order shakes. He told to go to the cashier. There I waited close to 6 minutes, waiting for someone to take my order. The waiter and waitress passed by. Never asking if I needed help. Eventually my girlfriend ordered the shakes online. Had a great lunch at Beeps. Outside tables are under a parking lot tent. Plenty of room and heaters though they weren't needed today. Plenty of friendly staff. They have a great menu of burgers, hot dogs, salads, all the diner favorites and then some. I had a delicious chicken & bacon pesto sub and my husband had an Italian deli sub and a chocolate shake, all delicious, fresh and very reasonable. This little neighborhood gem should be supported. I placed an order here at 9:11 pm through Postmates the order was accepted. There were other restaurants open at this time. But at 9:58 pm they called and canceled the order. The incredible lack of professionalism of this is beyond belief. They waited until the the delivery time was moments away and we were left with any restaurant choices.
